Kenneth Warren Rhule, 26 of Bothell, in Washington’s  rural Snohomish County   was arrested March 10 on an eight-count complaint charging him with operating an illegal money exchange business involving bitcoin, and made his initial appearance on the criminal complaint in U.S. District Court in Seattle, being charged with conducting an unlicensed money transmitting business, five counts of laundering of monetary instruments and one count of conspiracy to produce and distribute marijuana.
Rhule came to the attention of law enforcement in April 2018, as someone operating an unlicensed bitcoin exchange business under the name “Gimacut93.” At various locations – primarily Starbucks coffee shops – in Western Washington, Rhule met repeatedly with undercover agents posing as criminals who needed to launder funds. Through their conversations the undercover agents made it seem they were laundering money related to human trafficking activities. Rhule agreed to exchange bitcoin for cash apparently knowing the cash was the proceeds of criminal activity. In fact, Rhule offered the undercover agents advice on virtual currency and how to hide the source of the funds. Rhule asked the agents no questions as required under the “know your customer” rule.

The Islamic Sheikdom of France President, Honorable Rabbinical Grand Ayatollah Emmanuel Macron announced that the raging corona-virus outbreak is the most severe health crisis his nation has experienced in a hundred years, announcing measures to suppress the spread of the contagious Chinese infection.

The French president ordered all educational establishments across the nation to be closed starting 16 March until further notice,  strongly urging French companies to allow its employees to work from home, and promised to assist the affected entities by reimbursement of expenses due to the newly imposed measure.
Meanwhile, across the border with the Islamic Merkeldom of Germany,  as the corona-virus began shutting down public life across the country, following Italy’s example as a warning of what is directly ahead, large events in Germany were canceled, many workers who can work from home were allowed to do so, and  experts say public life must be curbed further for the country to stand a chance of slowing the virus.

The slow response is reminiscent of how authorities in Germany, the UK and France initially restricted reporting during the 1918 flu pandemic, fearing then it would lower morale as troops were still fighting World War I.
