The private Chinese spaceflight company OneSpace launched a rocket from the Gobi Desert in northwest China with the whole flight video recorded by a satellite orbiting more than 330 miles above Earth.
According to a Friday report by the Global Times, OneSpace was testing its 30-foot-tall and 15,900-pound OS-X1 solid-fueled that rocket took off from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre and reached an altitude of about 24 miles. The launch was captured by China’s Jilin-1 satellite and then uploaded to Chinese social network Sina Weibo.
Beijing-based LandSpace, another private space launch company, revealed that its Suzaku No. 2, the largest privately owned rocket developed in the country so far, will be launched in 2020. The company, which is also known as Beijing Blue Arrow Space Technology, is planning to complete ground tests for the medium-sized liquid oxygen-methane rocket in 2019.

Council of Economic Advisers Chairman Kevin Hassett took to the White House briefing podium to dispel that myth by poiting out at the evidence:
1.Business investment was on a downswing before President Trump taking office. It’s now up by more than $300 billion over the 2016 trend.
2. Orders and shipments of capital goods were on a downward trend before President Trump’s election. They’ve jumped sharply since.
3. Business applications were on a flat trend before President Trump’s Inauguration. They have now surged upward. On statistic after statistic, after years of weak and inconsistent economic trends under the previous Administration, President Trump has delivered for Americans.
“If anyone were to assert that the capital spending boom that we see right now was a continuation of the trend that President Trump inherited, then, well, you know they wouldn’t get a high grade in graduate school,” Chairman Hassett said.

Each of you will play a critical role in our legal system, and I do not doubt that you will be up to the task. Counting you, along with our existing judges, we currently have the most active immigration judges in history. But we won’t stop there—we will add even more by the end of this calendar year, with a goal of seeing a 50 percent increase in the number of judges since the beginning of the Trump administration. I am grateful to the President, to OMB, and to Senator Shelby, Senator Moran, Representative Frelinghuysen, and Representative Culberson for making this historic increase in immigration judges possible. Immigration judges are critical to ensuring that the Department of Justice carries out its responsibilities under the INA. You must decide cases efficiently and to keep our federal laws functioning effectively, reasonably, and consistently. And, as the statute states, Immigration Judges conduct designated proceedings “subject to such supervision and shall perform such duties as the Attorney General shall prescribe.” This last provision gives me the responsibility to ensure that our immigration system operates effectively and efficiently consistent with a law enacted by Congress.
