2…………> “Governs with heart”: Melania

First Lady Melania Trump has spoken out on the policy of separating parents and children illegally entering the country from Mexico, and “believes we need to be a country that follows all laws, but also a country that governs with heart.”

Her comments follow growing controversy over President Donald Trump’s “zero-tolerance” policy, geared towards adults who try to cross the border and are placed in custody and face criminal prosecution for illegal entry, leaving hundreds of minors who are now being housed in detention centres and kept away from their parents.

In her rare intervention, Mrs Trump said she “hates to see children separated from their families and hopes both sides of the aisle [Republicans and Democrats in Congress] can finally come together to achieve successful immigration reform”.

4…………>Hidden Military Bases: Fear & Mystery?

Secret military installations like Area 51 that legally does not exist, maybe housing terrible secrets and powerful superweapons that have long been the source inspiration of “James Bond” action movies and spy thrillers.

Area 51

The legendary US Air Force base in Nevada, commonly known as Area 51, is probably the most famous military installation among conspiracy theories around the world, with the facility name frequently being invoked in stories about UFO sightings, alien encounters and secret government agencies.

A local story speaks of a bunch of space aliens who’s planet ran out of garlic-laced ice cream and strawberries, hence they made a deal with Uncle Sam to have a base in the mountains of the Sheep Range in return for sharing their UFO technology with the US.

5…………> Tariff Wars: Enter Mexico

While still refusing to pay for Mr.Trump’s wall, and do it enthusiastically, Mexico is studying tariffs on the United States corn and soybean imports worth $4 billion annually in case the U.S. should escalate trade tensions by imposing additional tariffs of its own.

It struck back swiftly after the United States announced May 31 that it would impose 25% and 10% tariffs on Mexican steel and aluminium imports by imposing its own “equivalent measures” on U.S. products including steel, pork, apples, bourbon and cheese.

But it didn’t include corn and soybeans, both of which are used in Mexico to feed cattle, hogs and poultry.

However, Mexico has already begun increasing its grain imports from producers such as Brazil and Argentina, meaning that the impact of any move to enforce tariffs on U.S. grains could be reduced.

How could Germany possibly leave Leroy Sane out? How could they think an attack of Ozil, Draxler, Werner, Reus, Muller, Brandt and Gomez would possibly be able to cope in his absence?

‘No cutting edge’

Germany 0-1 Mexico

Raphael Honigstein

German football journalist on BBC Radio 5 live’s Euro Leagues Football Show

There was one major mistake, that took 50 minutes to rectify, but Germany started to play the game they wanted, Mexico perhaps ran out of steam a little.

But there was no cutting edge, the final ball was not there. The issue in midfield is the lack of pace in transition when they need to defend.

Germany has got two hard games and they need to improve

5…………> Nazi Rappers: “Kollegah und Bang”

In another not so subtle manifestation of the raging anti-Semitism in the Islamic Merkeldom of Germany, the “Rappers” duo of “Kollegah und Bang” sang, “Commit another Holocaust, come with a Molotov cocktail,” and the line “my muscles are more defined that an Auschwitz inmate’s.”, blatant stupidity that had them accused of anti-Semitism and hate speech in their latest album, leading to the scrapping of the Echo music awards, which the pair had won in April.

The state prosecutor in the western city of Dusseldorf determined that the controversial lyrics in the song “0815” that drew several complaints against hip-hop artists Kollegah and Farid Bang were not grounds for prosecution, and while the lyrics are full of vulgar, misogynistic and dehumanizing fantasies about violence and sex, they are protected by the German constitution’s rules regarding artistic freedom.
The pair has publicly distanced themselves from “any and all forms of anti-Semitism and hates against minorities,” i.e. Jews and Christians.

1…………> Merkel’s Gestapo: Austria Spying

Austrian newspaper “Der Standard” reported that the Islamic Merkeldom of Germany’s intelligence service BND(aka Merkel’s Gestapo) was snooping on diplomatic representatives in Vienna, including embassies of the US, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Libya, Afghanistan, Israel and North Korea, keeping track of phone numbers and other means of contact in the association of oil trading countries OPEC, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The BND was apparently also keeping tabs on dozens of private companies, including weapons manufacturers and other key exporters, but also Austrian ministries, Islamist movements, and even the country’s news agency APA.

“The scale of the surveillance was enormous,” Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz said of the spy effort, which reportedly involved around 2,000 targets and took place between 1999 and 2006,
calling on the Islamic Merkeldom of Germany to clarify reports that its BND spy agency had snooped on high-profile targets including embassies, international organizations, Austrian ministers and banks based in the Austrian capital.
Talking to reporters at a specially convened press conference in Vienna, Kurz said his government already contacted German authorities and demanded more information on who was spied on and when the effort was ended.
“We want to have certainty that (the surveillance) ended, and if data were saved, our request is of course for it to be deleted,” Kurz said.

2…………> Nan Madol: Venice Of The Pacific

Elaborate canals connecting 92 man-made islets over 200 acres built on basalt and coral boulders, build by two mysterious brothers between the 13th and 17th centuries before being abandoned, with scientists still unable to figure out how rocks weighing 50 tons each were ferried to the

ruins of Nan Madol in the Federated States of Micronesia, creating an enigma just is like barging in into an Indiana Jones movie.http://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-06-17/race-to-save-micronesian-ruins-of-nan-madol/9875064

3…………> Obama, Lynch & Company Lies: IG Report

DOJ Inspector General  Report, Chapter 4.

Comey’s Account of the Meeting Comey told the OIG that during this meeting AG Lynch agreed they needed to confirm the existence of the investigation, but she said not to use the word “investigation,” and instead to call it a “matter.” Comey said that Lynch seemed slightly irritated at him when she said this and that he took it as a direction. Comey stated: And I remember saying, “Well, what should I call it?” And she said, “Call it a matter.” And I said, “Why would I do that?” And she said, “I just want you to do that and so I would very much appreciate it if you would not refer to it as an investigation.” And the reason that gave me pause is, it was during a period of time which lasted, where I knew from the open source that the Clinton campaign was keen not to use the word investigation…. [A]nd so that one concerned me and I remember getting a lump in my stomach and deciding at that moment should I fight on this or not.

Reaction to White House Statements about the Midyear Investigation On Sunday, October 11, 2015, an interview of then President Barack Obama was aired on the CBS show 60 Minutes. During this interview, Obama characterized former Secretary Clinton’s use of a private email server as a “mistake,” but stated that it did not “pose[] a national security problem” and was “not a situation in which America’s national security was endangered.” Obama also stated that the issue had been “ginned up” because of the presidential race. Two days later, on October 13, 2015, Obama’s Press Secretary, Josh Earnest, was asked whether Obama’s comments “should be read as an attempt to steer the direction of the FBI investigation.” Earnest replied that Obama made his comments based on public information, and they were not intended to influence an independent investigation. Former President Obama’s comments caused concern among FBI officials about the potential impact on the investigation. Former EAD John Giacalone told the OIG, “[W]e open up criminal investigations. And you have the President of the United States saying this is just a mistake…. That’s a problem, right?” Former AD Randy Coleman expressed the same concern, stating, “[The FBI had] a group of guys in here, professionals, that are conducting an investigation. And the…President of the United States just came out and said there’s no there there.” Coleman said that he would have expected someone in FBI or Department leadership to contact one of Obama’s national security officials, and “tell [him or her], hey knock it off.” Michael Steinbach, the former EAD for the National Security Branch, told the OIG that the comments generated “controversy” within the FBI. Steinbach stated, “[Y]ou’re prejudging the results of an investigation before they really even have been started…. That’s…hugely problematic for us.” Department prosecutors also were concerned.

4…………> Honoring A Hero: Col. George Day

Medal of Honor recipient Col. George “Bud” Day was posthumously advanced to the rank of brigadier general during a Heritage to Horizons summer concert series at the Air Force Memorial in Arlington, Virginia, June 8, 2018.

Chief of Staff of the Air Force Gen. David L. Goldfein presided over the concert and opened the series by thanking Day and those who served alongside him during the Vietnam War.

“I’d like to recognize all our Vietnam era veterans and thank them for their service,” said Goldfein. “Tonight we gather to remember those who gave the last measure of devotion, those missing in action, those who endured the harsh and tyrannical treatment at places like the Hanoi Hilton and their families.”

Day, an Air Force fighter pilot who was shot down in the Vietnam War, is considered to be one of America’s most decorated service members. During his military service, he served in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. Day earned 70 decorations, to include the Congressional Medal of Honor and the Air Force Cross.

The events of August 26, 1967, would indelibly change his life. While flying a mission over North Vietnam, Day was shot down and immediately captured by the North Vietnamese. Nursing a dislocated knee and an arm broken in three places, he managed to escape captivity and evade the enemy for two weeks. He made his way back into South Vietnam, earning the distinction of being the only prisoner to actually escape from North Vietnam. Unfortunately, Day was just two miles from the safety of a U.S. Marine Corps base when he was shot and recaptured by a Viet Cong patrol.

Thereafter, he defiantly and resolutely endured a brutal, 67-month imprisonment that finally ended in repatriation on March 14, 1973. Three days later, Day was reunited with his wife and four children at March Air Force Base, California.
