The trials and victories of the world wars during the last 100+ years were proudly remembered by the brave citizens of Australia, aka “Down Under”, with women holding center stage as hundreds of thousands of people gathered at various Anzac Day events across the country on the anniversary of the heroic landing of Australian and New Zealand troops at Gallipoli, Turkey.

Colonel Susan Neuhaus delivered the official dawn service address at the Australian War Memorial, an event attended by nearly 40,000 people, recalling special mention of the women who served Australia’s armed forces, including the story of 22 members of the Australian Army Nursing Service who were killed by Japanese troops in 1942 after their ship was sunk during the evacuation of Singapore.

Three Australian warships, namely HMAS “Anzac”, HMAS “Toowoomba” and HMAS “Success” were challenged by the PLA Navy as they traveled through the disputed South China Sea transiting towards Vietnam on a three-day goodwill visit in Ho Chi Minh City.
The confrontations with the People’s Liberation Army are believed to have occurred as China was conducting its largest-ever naval exercises in the hotly contested waters.

ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations officers arrested 33 fugitives sought for their roles in known or suspected human rights violations during a nationwide operation this week, mostly foreign nationals who all have outstanding removal orders and are subject to repatriation to their countries of origin. Of the 33 known or suspected human rights violators arrested during Operation No Safe Haven IV, eight individuals are also criminal aliens with convictions for crimes including, but not limited to battery, weapons offenses, driving while intoxicated, and resisting arrest. This operation surpassed the number of known or suspected human rights violators arrested during the first nationwide No Safe Haven operation, which took place in September 2014.

“This operation continues ICE’s work to ensure that the United States does not serve as a safe haven for those who commit human rights violations in their countries of origin,” said Thomas D. Homan, Deputy Director of ICE. “We will continue to pursue these individuals as priorities for enforcement— using our agency’s unique authorities to investigate criminal activity and to enforce immigration laws.”

4…………> Guerero Murders: Clash With Army

Six state police officers were among 16 people killed last night in violent clashes in two municipalities in the state of Guerrero, with incidents occurring in the Costa Grande region, one in Zihuatanejo, the other in Petatlán.

“In the vicinity of El Coacoyul, a state police patrol car was attacked by about 15 armed civilians who were carrying AK-47-style assault weapons. Public security forces repelled the aggressors and killed three [gunmen],” State security spokesman Roberto Álvarez Heredia said.

He explained that the rest of the armed men then ran to a nearby hill, while the state police called for backup.

“. . . The army, the navy and ministerial police arrived at the location provoking a second confrontation that left a toll of seven civilian deaths . . .” the official said.

In the neighboring municipality of Petatlán, six state police officers were ambushed by civilians also wielding AK-47s, resulting in the deaths of all six men.

Two Aussie businessmen who were about to open the $16 million Western Victorian Livestock Exchange in Mortlake, Serbia were arrested when police police stormed the lobby with their weapons drawn in connection with a 1,280kg cocaine shipment worth half a billion dollars seized in Sydney last year.

“We’re just in amazement — I’m dealing with it right now it’s come as a complete shock to us. [It] came completely out of the blue. In an attempt to limit CIA, FB & Co meddling in Russia’s affairs,  President Vladimir Putin issued an executive order in 2017 that directed his government to negotiate independent root name servers for the so-called domain name system (DNS) with the BRICS states, which apart from Russia include Brazil, India, China and South Africa, by August 2018. These servers contain global databases of public IP addresses and their host names.

The reason given is the “dominance of the US and a few EU states concerning internet regulation” which Russia sees as a “serious danger” to its safety.

“This is an effort of more than 20 years, to travel hundreds of kilometers of caves submerged in Quintana Roo mainly, of which I dedicated 14 years to explore this monstrous Sac Actun System. Now everyone’s job is to preserve it,” said Robert Schmittner, who had proven after 14 years of research that two giant underwater caverns under Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula are connected, making the 347 kilometer (216 mile) flooded cave system the largest known on the planet.

Researchers didn’t discover a new cave, but proved that the 263-kilometer Sac Actun cave and 83-kilometer Dos Ojos system near Tulum ran continuously.
