Google Nest Guard was introduced a year ago, it has an alarm, keypad, and motion sensor, but the “microphone” was only added to the product’s specifications this month to the device that acts as a way to arm and disarm the firm’s home security alarm system by use of a code or tap of a key button.

In response to criticism, Google said that: “The on-device microphone was never intended to be a secret and should have been listed in the tech specs”, with the acknowledgment comes days after Singapore Airlines faced criticism for installing cameras into the backs of some of its planes’ seats as part of a new in-flight entertainment system.

The company confirmed the cameras’ existence on Sunday, but said they had been disabled and added that it had no plans to use them.

The comments follow President Trump’s receipt over the weekend of a study compiled by the Commerce Department that is widely expected to open the door for Trump to impose tariffs of up to 25 percent on European auto imports over alleged national security concerns.

Trump in August threatened to hit European cars with a 25 percent tariff during a trade spat that has largely cooled amid ongoing negotiations agreed to by Trump and European Union Commissioner Jean-Claude Juncker to reduce trade barriers.

President Donald Trump issued an ultimatum to the European Union, warning that if a comprehensive trade pact is not brokered, Washington will tax European car imports.

” They’re very tough to make a deal with, the EU,” Trump said while hosting his Austrian counterpart, Sebastian Kurz, at the White House.

Referring to the report, Trump said the administration has studied possible tariffs “very carefully.”

Researchers from EU and Australia published a study infering that sea levels are expected to rise two feet worldwide by the year 2300, with low-lying areas of Florida and Bangladesh, Maldives in the Indian Ocean or Kiribati in the Pacific, including massive coastal urban areas such as Shanghai, London, New York, and New Orleans would be threatened as well.

A warning that the billions of tons of meltwater flowing into the oceans from melting ice sheets in Greenland and Antarctica will result in more extreme global weather conditions worldwide and serve to destabilize regional climate in the very near future was emphasized,  due to the glacial cavity, found at the bottom of a glacier in western Antarctica that once held 14 billion tonnes of frozen fresh water.

According to the study, the pumping of billions and billions of tonnes of new, previously frozen cold freshwater into the ocean has the potential to slow the global oceanic conveyor belt network regulating climate, resulting in longer, more extreme hot or cold snaps, wet spells and dry stretches, with much greater temperature variance in some areas of the world than at present.

And while Antarctic icebergs are seen as less of a threat than those forming in the Northern Hemisphere and the Arctic, given existing shipping lanes, they still pose a threat, according to scientists.

All of China’s Communist Party 90 million members are required to log onto the propaganda platform app that teaches “Xi Jinping thought” every day, using their phone number and real name, the app named “Xuexi Qiangguo”, or  “study powerful country” in Chinese, currently the most downloaded free app on Apple’s China App Store.

The first half of its name, “xuexi”  is a clever play on words that means “study” but also means “study Xi”, referring to the Chinese President’s ideological addition to the party’s constitution: Comrade Xi Jinping thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era in 2017, isn’t that cute?

Launched by the Communist Party’s publicity department, the app filled with speeches and political reforms has reportedly already been downloaded millions of times in just a matter of weeks.

US government should take a lesson from the China communists, and release a high school required app that teaches young Americans about the wisdom and foresight of Comrades Waters, AOC, Tlaib and Omar, on their relentless trek to the green meadows of socialism, that will ultimately lead to the destruction of our country and Constitution.
