The Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) news outlet, registered in Russia as a foreign agent, said that the bank accounts of its Moscow bureau were blocked after court officers searched the office:

“RFE/RL’s bank accounts in Russia have been frozen following a visit by court bailiffs to the U.S. agency’s Moscow bureau. The move came after agents of the Federal Court Bailiffs Service on May 14 initiated enforcement proceedings against RFE/RL’s Russian branch over unpaid fines accrued because of violations of Russia’s controversial ‘foreign agents’ laws,” the RFE/RL said in a press release.

It added that the bailiffs had sent the Moscow bureau a warrant authorizing it to search for the organization’s bank accounts and to freeze them.

PHOENIX, Ariz., — Special agents from the Phoenix office of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), arrested two alleged child sexual predators and identified two victims under the age of 16 years old late last month. Both defendants face multiple counts of state child sexual exploitation and molestation.

“HSI focuses on identifying victims of these alleged heinous crimes,” said Scott Brown, special agent in charge for HSI Phoenix.

“Arresting and prosecuting alleged predators hopefully brings some comfort to those who suffered abuse and to the community in general.”

MIDLAND, Texas – A former firefighter in Odessa, Texas, identified as Jeremy Lee Barrera, 36, pleaded guilty  to possessing child pornography and using his cell phone on his employer’s network to access child pornography, after admitting in federal court he used his cell phone on the OFD network to access an online chat room where several videos, which depicted child pornography, were posted. He pleaded guilty to one count of possession of child pornography.

According to court documents, HSI special agents conducting an online child sex exploitation investigation identified two local IP addresses used by an account registered to a “Ray Jones” to enter an encrypted online group chat whose members were viewing child pornography. One IP address was registered to OFD Station #2; the other was registered to Barrera’s residence.

“The Type 094A is an upgraded version of the Type 094 that overcame one of the key problems – noise – by improving hydrokinetic and turbulent systems, allowing it to carry the more powerful JL-3”, the source disclosed last week.

Four German citizens between the ages of 40 and 64 were detained in relation to the case, three on suspicion of working as administrators for the platform — one of whom was arrested in Paraguay. Another man was taken in under suspicion of being a registered member and the platform’s most active user, having contributed more than 3,500 posts.
