PHOENIX – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) arrested a dangerous illegal alien Friday who was wanted in Colorado on felony charges stemming from a sexual assault on a child. On July 23, the Summit County Sheriff’s Office in Breckenridge, Colorado, arrested and booked Rafael Ceba-Garcia into the Garfield County Jail. He was arrested on two counts of sexual assault of a child by a person in a position of trust. The victim in this case was a female child under 15 years of age.
“The coordinated efforts between the Phoenix and Denver ICE offices exemplify the tremendous work the men and women of ICE undertake to identify and prioritize the targeting of individuals who pose considerable threats to the most vulnerable,” said Corey A. Price, field office director for ERO Phoenix.
Indivior Solutions was sentenced to pay $289 million in criminal penalties in connection with a previous guilty plea related to the marketing of the opioid-addiction-treatment drug Suboxone, as
U.S. District Judge James P. Jones of the Western District of Virginia entered the sentence against Indivior Solutions pursuant to a plea agreement. Altogether, Indivior Solutions will pay $600 million to resolve its civil and criminal liability in this matter. In total, the payments made by Indivior Solutions and its parent companies, Indivior Inc. and Indivior plc, along with payments made under a 2019 resolution with Indivior’s former parent, Reckitt Benckiser Group plc, and criminal penalties paid pursuant to plea agreements with two former Indivior executives will exceed $2 billion. That amount represents the second-largest monetary resolution obtained by the Department of Justice in a case involving an opioid drug.
Suboxone, which contains the powerful opioid buprenorphine, is a drug product approved for use by recovering opioid addicts to avoid or reduce withdrawal symptoms while they undergo treatment for opioid-use disorder. In connection with its guilty plea, Indivior Solutions admitted to making false statements to the Massachusetts Medicaid program (MassHealth) related to the relative safety of Suboxone Film, a version of Suboxone, around children.
“Combating the opioid epidemic is a top priority for the Department of Justice,” said Acting Assistant Attorney General Jeffrey Bossert Clark of the Justice Department’s Civil Division.
“We will hold drug manufacturers accountable when they make misrepresentations that could affect consumers’ access to opioid addiction treatments.”
Indivior Solutions, a subsidiary of Indivior Inc., pleaded guilty on July 24.

President Trump planned to visit five battleground states while his challenger Mr. Biden spoke at a campaign event in Pennsylvania and travelling across the nation on Sunday as the US election enters its closing stage, while reportedly the Democratic candidate maintains a solid national lead in the polls ahead of Tuesday’s general election.
But this advantage is narrower in key states which could decide the result, as some 90 million people have already cast their ballots in early voting, putting the country on course for its highest turnout in a century.
At least two people have been stabbed to death in the Canadian city by a man armed with a sword and dressed in medieval clothing, and five others were wounded in the Halloween night attack. A man in his mid-20s was arrested, and an initial probe found the suspect was not affiliated with any extremist groups, with the attack taking place in the historic Old Quebec neighborhood.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Twitter:
“My heart breaks for the loved ones of the two killed in last night’s horrific attack in Quebec City.
“I’m also wishing a full recovery to the injured. We’re keeping you in our thoughts and will be there for all of you.”
