U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), working with the U.S. Department of State, has brought home a total of 209 United States citizens on the return leg of two removal flights via ICE Air Operations. U.S. citizens occupied the Space Available seats on flights to the United States from Honduras and El Salvador. ICE removed Honduran nationals with final orders of removal from the United States to their home country on March 22, and Salvadoran nationals on March 24. On the return flight to the United States, ICE facilitated the transportation of U.S. citizens in accordance with the OMB Circular A-126 and the HS M 0020.1. ICE will continue to work with the State Department to facilitate the safe return of U.S. citizens on future removal flight returns from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador throughout the duration of the COVI-19 pandemic. These return operations could also potentially expand to other countries outside of the Northern Triangle.

The White House also plans to send out 500 to each child. This means that a lower-income family of two parents and one child would receive 2900. Those with no or little tax liability would receive the same check as others,The proposal also seeks 250 billion in expanded unemployment benefits: every unemployed worker would receive 600 every week for four months, on top of what states already provide to them as base salary compensation (the idea is that an extra 600 per week would give 100 percent of an average wage). Senate Minority Leader Chuck, “I cried tears for the Muslims” Schumer, who was negotiating the deal for the Democrats, dubbed this provision “unemployment compensation on steroids”.

The total number of cases globally has reached 372,757, most have been registered in Europe – more than 195,000. The global death toll has reached 16,231, of which more than 10,000 deaths have been in Europe. . The World Health Organization declared the COVID-19 outbreak a pandemic on 11 March. The number of people infected with the corona-virus disease (COVID-19) in the US state of New Jersey has risen to 4,402, while 62 people have died, Governor Phil Murphy said in a press briefing that:
“We’ve received 736 new positive COVI-19 test results since yesterday, bringing our total to 4,402, sadly, we have learned of 18 additional deaths”, he said.
