1…………>  Today’s White House Tweets

Donald J. Trump

@realDonaldTrump

Another is a one-time BAD Congressman from Illinois who lost in his second term by a landslide, then failed in radio. The third is a man who couldn’t stand up straight while receiving an award. I should be able to take them!

Donald J. Trump

@realDonaldTrump

Can you believe it? I’m at 94% approval in the Republican Party, and have Three Stooges running against me. One is “Mr. Appalachian Trail” who was actually in Argentina for bad reasons

Axios (whatever that is) sat back and said GEEEEE, let’s see, what can we make up today to embarrass the President? Then they said, “why don’t we say he wants to bomb a hurricane, that should do it!” The media in our Country is totally out of control!

2…………>  Bangladeshi Human Smuggler: Busted

A Bangladeshi national, identified as Moktar Hossain, 31, formerly residing in Mexico, pleaded guilty for his role in a scheme to smuggle aliens to the United States for the purpose of commercial advantage or private financial gain, operating out of Monterrey, where he housed aliens before sending them on the last leg of the journey to the United States.  Hossain paid drivers to transport the aliens to the U.S. border, and gave them instructions how to cross the Rio Grande River.

  “Today’s plea makes clear that defendants who smuggle illegal aliens across the United States border for profit should expect to face the consequences in a United States courtroom. Human smuggling is a national security threat,” said Assistant Attorney General Brian A. Benczkowski of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division

3…………> Jeffrey Epstein’s Victims: Testimonies of Pain

One by one, more than a dozen of Jeffrey Epstein’s accusers stood before a judge, and poured out their anger towards the financier in a packed New York courtroom at a dramatic hearing lasting more than two hour, which came less than three weeks after he killed himself while awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges. One woman had Mr. Epstein of raping her in his New York mansion when she was a 15-year-old aspiring actress.

“The fact I will never have a chance to face my predator in court eats away at me,” she said.

“He robbed me of my dreams, of my chance to pursue a career I adored,” Jennifer Araoz said.

Mr. Epstein placed his estate of more than $854.5 million in a trust two days before his death.

4…………> Purdue Pharma: $12bn’ Opioid Settlement

Purdue Pharma, the opioid drug-maker owned by the billionaire Sackler family, is offering between $10bn and $12bn to settle thousands of lawsuits against it, as the  firm is facing over 2,000 lawsuits linked to its painkiller OxyContin, while “actively working” towards a “global resolution”, with  the settlement would involving the Sacklers giving up ownership of the company.

Purdue is one of 22 opioid makers, distributors and pharmacies named in over 2,000 cases which are due to go to trial in October, which have been brought by states, cities and counties, allege the company used deceptive practices to sell opioids and is responsible for fueling an opioid addiction crisis in the US.

The firm said in a statement: “While Purdue Pharma is prepared to defend itself vigorously in the opioid litigation, the company has made clear that it sees little good coming from years of wasteful litigation and appeals.”

“Purdue believes a constructive global resolution is the best path forward, and the company is actively working with the state attorneys general and other plaintiffs to achieve this outcome.”

On average, 130 Americans die from an opioid overdose every day, according to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

1…………> Nobel Prize For Trump: Halt To Nuke Testing

North Korean leader Comrade Un cave in to “Old Man Trump” economic and military pressure and announced his country would suspend all nuclear tests and intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) launches because it had completed its goal of developing nuclear weapons.

The “baffled and bewildered” leftover “New World Disorder” governments around the world emitted a howl of approval, welcoming the news with a great deal of suspicion and caution.

As the new world’s self-appointed market mover, President Trump has found punch-bag to beat on: The OPEC.

Donald J. Trump

@realDonaldTrump

Looks like OPEC is at it again. With record amounts of Oil all over the place, including the fully loaded ships at sea, Oil prices are artificially Very High! No good and will not be accepted!

3:57 AM – Apr 20, 2018

 38.2K people are talking about this

A boom in the production of oil from US shale fields by early 2016, pushed crude prices below $30 per barrel, and in a dialectic response, Opec’s 14 member states and some non-Opec countries and signatories of the BRICK block such as Russia, agreed to rein in their oil production in the hope of boosting prices that hit three-year highs of almost $75 a barrel.

3…………> Ancient Punks: Mummies Tattoos

“I said, ‘Mmm, there’s a smudge on his right arm, I wonder what that is?’We had believed that only females were tattooed [in predynastic Egypt]. I really didn’t expect anything. And even through the glass, in the case, these two animals on his right upper arm just jumped out at me … that was a real surprise. A ‘jump-up-and-down’ moment,” said British Museum Archaeologist Dr. Renee Freidman when pointing a digital infra-red camera at a 5,500-year-old Egyptian mummy on display at the British Museum.

But now her camera had also unmasked tattoos of a “Barbary sheep” and a “wild bull” on the arm of a mummy Gebelein Man, or “Ginger”, who died in a violent death
after being stabbed in the back.

“I was astounded,” she said.

It has been suggested by researchers that drug use was popular in the antiquity, and one only can wonder if the unfortunate tattooed man named “Ginger” was stabbed in the back when he refused to give his iPhone to his meth supplier in lieu of payment.

4…………> Jungle Jabbah: Locked Up

A Liberian national named Mohammed Jabbateh, 51, a violent and ruthless Liberian warlord also known as “Jungle Jabbah,” who had been living in East Lansdowne, Pennsylvania was sentenced in federal court to 30 years in prison for immigration fraud and perjury. The prison term marks the longest sentence for a human rights violator case in the history of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Human Rights Violators and War Crimes Center (HRVWCC), which supported the probe.
He was found guilty in October 2017 of two counts of fraud in immigration documents and two counts of perjury.

“Let today’s sentencing serve as an example of HSI’s commitment to bring to justice individuals such as Mr. Jabbateh,” said Marlon Miller, special agent in charge of HSI’s Philadelphia office. “Human rights violators will not evade justice and will be held accountable for their crimes committed abroad, nor will they find refuge here in the United States.”

5……….> Human Smuggler Slammed: Life In Prison

The driver-owner of a tractor-trailer used to smuggle illegal aliens named James Matthew Bradley Jr., 61, from Louisville, was sentenced to life in prison without parole, ordered to forfeit to the Government his tractor-trailer rig, plus approximately $5,600 in U.S. currency and a .38 caliber pistol recovered from inside the cab.

“Smuggling illegal aliens into this country disregards both our laws and their safety,” Attorney General Jeff Sessions said. “The defendant’s actions, in this case, led to the agonizing deaths of 10 people. Were it not for his actions, they might still be alive today. This case is a reminder of why the Trump administration and this Department of Justice have renewed our commitment to enforcing our criminal immigration laws and why we are going to continue to work to secure our borders. I want to thank the fabulous Assistant U.S. Attorneys who prosecuted this case, Christina Playton and Matthew Lathrop, as well as our partners with ICE, HSI, CBP, the San Antonio Police and Fire Departments and the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office for helping us achieve justice. This tragic case is yet another reminder that Congress must end the incentives that encourage illegal immigration and alien smuggling in the first place.”
