1…………> Applied Global Warming: Japan Floods

At least 51 people have died and many more are missing after heavy rains caused flooding and landslides across much of western Japan, with Motoyama, near Tokyo, getting unheard of 23 inches of rainfall, with heavy rains expected to continue through Sunday and 48,000 police, firefighters and Self-Defence Force personnel mobilized to help with the rescue effort.

Hiroshima Prefecture was hit the hardest with numerous landslides that killed at least 15 people and authorities have warned that the death toll will continue to rise.

2…………> Anne Frank In USA: Dream Of Freedom

On November 9, 1938, the Nazis terrorized Jews throughout the country in the violent Kristallnacht pogroms, also known as the “Night of Broken Glass”, and according to a recent research the family of Anne Frank attempted to emigrate to the US, and later to Cuba, but their efforts were tragically thwarted by America’s restrictive immigration policy and the outbreak of World War II.

“I am forced to look out for emigration and as far as I can see the USA is the only country we could go to,” Otto Frank wrote in English to a friend in the US in 1941.

His efforts to get the family out of the Netherlands to the US likely started as early as 1938 — a turbulent year in which Nazi Germany annexed Austria and part of Czechoslovakia into the Third Reich. (DW)

4…………> New World’s Champion: England?

England has booked their place in the World Cup semifinals for the first time since 1990 courtesy of a 2-0 win over Sweden. Harry Maguire and Dele Alli got the goals either side of half-time.

England followed up their penalty shootout win on Wednesday with a convincing 2-0 victory over Sweden in Samara Arena on Sunday.

Harry Maguire scored his first international goal to give England the early lead. Dele Alli got on the score sheet as well as England qualified for their first World Cup semifinal in 28 years.

With the wind in their sails, The Three Lions came close to extending the lead before the break as Raheem Sterling squandered two golden opportunities in one-on-one situations with Olsen. (BBC)

5…………> US/China Trade War: No Soybeans

The unintended consequences of the US/China tariff war are hitting hard, as China reduced commitments to buy 366,000 metric tons of U.S. soybeans in the season that ends Aug. 31 and further cut plans to buy 66,000 tons in the following year.

Soybeans are on the hit list of American goods now being targeted by Chinese tariffs that went into effect Friday after the U.S. implemented a raft of duties earlier in the day and President Donald Trump threatened more action. The oilseed is the top agricultural commodity that the U.S. ships to China by far and is among the largest products for overall exports.

1…………> Abducted By The SS: “Germanized Children”

Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler declared in 1938, “I really do have the intention to gather Germanic blood from the whole world, to rob it, to steal it wherever I can,” an evil statement that led to snatching children from their parents or taken from orphanages in a convoluted plan to build an Aryan “super race”, all a sick vision of a dark Austrian house painter with Charlie Chaplin “toothbrush” mustache for a world domination by blue eyed, blond haired goons over the “dark tribes” that eventually were destined for extermination.

As one of nearly 200,000 children from the occupied territories of 1942 German Reich, Hermann Lüdeking was abducted from Nazi-occupied Poland, robbed of his identity and forcibly Germanized, growing up in Lemgo, never knowing anything about his true roots.

“I still suffer from not knowing who my parents are,” said Hermann Lüdeking, now a retired engineer from Bad Dürrheim in the Black Forest.

Unfortunately, “racially pure” children abducted by the SS are not entitled to compensation, a German court has ruled, with up to 200,000 children kidnapped and forcibly Germanized during the Nazi occupation of Poland.

2…………> Down With Spy-Cam Porn: South Korea

South Korean women took to the streets to demand an end of the spy-cam pornography, the online sharing of intimate photos and videos taken by secret, tiny cameras without their permission that has become an increasingly common problem in South Korea.

President Moon Jae-in labeled the epidemic a “part of daily life” in South Korea, and ordered government officials to look into stricter penalties.

“We must make sure that the offenders suffer greater damage than the damage they inflict,” Moon said.

3…………> Closing Window: Thailand Cave

The Thailand “war with water and time” to save 12 trapped boys and their soccer coach is being hampered by a heavy rain shower that hit the northern part of the country overnight, worsening conditions at the cave where rescuers are waging desperate extraction attempt amid dropping oxygen levels and a rising water level.

Lines of special forces frogmen and soldiers with flashlights are working in the darkness, as generators pumped water out from blue nylon pipes.

4…………> Taiwan Run: US Navy

Two US warships passed through the Taiwan Strait in a move that is considered a sign of support for the breakaway province by the US, a bad timing that may lead to a further spike in tensions with China in the already flaming “tariffs” war.

China has said repeatedly that Taiwan is the most sensitive issue in its diplomatic ties with the United States, with the second biggest economy in the world viewing the island as a wayward Chinese province.

5…………> A Message Of Peace

Leave the madness behind and listen to the music of eternal peace, Christus Vincit circa 1982.

Turn of the channel on people who have offended and demeaned the teachings of our beloved Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, also known as Rabbi Emmanuel. Walk away, let them dry on the scorching sun. Listen to the sound of Christus Vincit, a message of peace and hope.

1…………> Trump/ Comrade UN 2: A Deadlock

On a wide diversion of opinions, North Korea’s news agency said the outcome of talks with the US delegation headed by Mike Pompeo was “extremely troubling,” blaming it for insisting on complete, verifiable and irreversible denuclearization, while the American side led by US State Secretary Mike Pompeo emphasized its three main goals: DPRK complete denuclearization, the guarantees of the country’s political order and the return of the remains of the US soldiers killed during the Korean War (1950-1953).

Translation: The horse-trading and oriental marketplace haggling will continue until Comrade Un gets all the money he needs to feed his malnourished people, and Mr.Trump gets what he wants for a little cash as possible: i.e. “The Art of the Deal” in motion.

2…………> Down With Sadiq Khan: Trump Supporters

London’s Mayor, the righteous Muslim Sadiq Khan has joined the anti-Trump protest by permitting the launch an 18 feet tall balloon in the form of a “baby Trump” into the sky above the Islamic Mays’dom of UK capital on the day of the US president’s visit there, despite a hollow claim that it will be a peaceful protest against the president and his policies.

This offensive outrage was not welcomed by sworn UK supporters of Mr.Trump, namely UKIP leader Nigel Farage who slammed the move by Sadiq Khan as “the biggest insult to a sitting US president ever” and suggested that such wouldn’t be the case if it were our 1st Muslim President, Grand Ayatollah Barack Obama visiting and not Trump.

3…………> Righteous Belgium Believers: Stop Trump

New World Disorder activists gathered in Belgium’s capital, calling for the dissolution of NATO, protest President Trump’s policies, including the imposition of tariffs that ignited a trade war, and chanting “Trump not welcome,” “stop NATO — stop the war” and “make peace great again.”

One of the “activists” announced from the stage, installed at the march’s rally point, that they oppose “everything that Trump embodies” and that Trump’s policy “is not leadership” and should not be an example for other politicians.

One does not have to wonder who is bankrolling this outrage on the continent, and in England: few names come in mind.

4…………> Spider-Man Creator: A Passing Of A Legend

The creative genius who created Spider-Man’s distinctive blue and red costume and the web-shooters he wore on his wrists, described as “the single greatest comic book artist and creator who ever lived” by British TV presenter Jonathan, has passed away. Steve Ditko was 95.

Ditko rose to fame for his work with Marvel Comics in the early 1960s, working with the company’s future CEO Stan Lee on ideas including Spider-Man and Doctor Strange.
