A walk on the beach in Cabo San Lucas proved fatal for a couple visiting from Texas identified as Nancy and Richard Culpepper, both believed to be 85, who were swept away by a large wave as they walked on the beach at the Pueblo Bonito hotel.
Navy personnel succeeded in pulling Nancy Culpepper from the water, but she died shortly after. Her husband died before help could arrive and his body was later recovered from the water.

Indonesia has issued its highest-level aviation warning for flights around Bali as a shifting cloud of volcanic ash closed the airport on the holiday island of Lombok and forced the cancellation of flights for 5000 thousand passengers, as 30,000 Balinese people remain in temporary shelters 
Staff at Indonesia’s volcano monitoring centre said it was not just pulverized rock being blown out of Mt Agung, but magma has now reached the volcano’s surface.

The Department of Justice will continue to work to ensure that the civil rights of all individuals will be protected,” said Acting Assistant Attorney General John Gore as  Dwight Hamilton, a former correctional officer at the DeKalb County Jail, pleaded guilty on to abusing a female inmate by tasing her without any legitimate justification. Leonard Dreyer, Mr. Hamilton’s former supervisor at the DeKalb County Jail, previously pleaded guilty to attempting to obstruct the federal investigation into Mr. Hamilton’s use of excessive force by making false statements to an FBI agent.

 Coast Guard law enforcement crews detected and interdicted a Mexican lancha boat crew engaged in illegally fishing in federal waters off southern Texas,  confiscating 878 pounds of red snapper, 35 pounds of amberjack and fishing gear onboard. The Mexican fishermen were detained and transferred to border enforcement agents for processing.

“A correctional officer should never resort to violence or violate an inmate’s constitutional right to protection from unreasonable force, no matter the circumstance. The Department of Justice will not tolerate any abuse of an individual’s civil rights under the law, or any effort to obstruct justice,” said Acting Assistant Attorney General John Gore  as former correctional officer with the rank of lieutenant at the U. S. Penitentiary in Atlanta Gregory McLeod, 44 pleaded guilty today to abusing an inmate by punching him in his face without any justification. McLeod also admitted that he intentionally obstructed a federal investigation into the matter by writing a false incident report.

“CNN International is still a major source of (Fake) news, and they represent our Nation to the WORLD very poorly.” Trump wrote on Twitter.

The media outlet talking heads responded to the president’s claims and wrote on Twitter that “it is not CNN’s job to represent the U.S to the world. That’s yours.”

The matter of fact is that for over a year after Mr. Trump’s election, CNN and MSNBC have led a choir of hyenas howling from the D.C. alligator infested swamp to undermine, offend and ultimately remove him from office, an anti-American campaign that is certainly not in our National interest and well being.
