A U.S. postal worker named Harold Coley of Columbus, Georgia was sentenced to 97 months in prison for his role in a stolen identity refund fraud conspiracy, fraudulent refund claims, mail fraud, and embezzlement of mail. In 2012, Coley was recruited by co-conspirator Keisha Lanier to participate in a stolen identity tax refund scheme by compiling addresses ostensibly related to streets on his route, for the purpose of filing fraudulent tax returns with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).  Coley’s co-conspirators directed over 1,600 refund checks totaling more than $2.5 million to addresses on his postal route. Lanier and Floyd were convicted and previously sentenced to prison for their roles in the scheme.

UN investigators who have documented Myanmar mass gang rapes, killings — including of infants and young children — brutal beatings, and disappearances committed by security personnel that have constituted crimes against humanity, have been denied access to the country.

“It is a shame that Myanmar has decided to take this route. The Government has repeatedly denied violations of human rights are occurring throughout Myanmar, particularly in Rakhine State. The Presidential candidate Donald Trump made a string of promises during his long campaign to be the 45th president of the United States, and now President Donald Trump is held to account on the accomplishments during the first tumultuous year of his watch.

The head turners, from keeping all Muslims entering the US, to building a wall along the border with Mexico have been drowned in bloody resistance by the McCain/Hillary “Deep State” parallel US government, either by using the judiciary or a threat to shut down the government if financing is provided for building the Trump wall. And despite the horrendous howling of the “Council of Foreign Relations” hyenas and their mouthpiece, mainstream “Fake News Media”, President Trump has backed-up a good number of his promises, starting with the tax cuts included in the incoming Congressional bill, shelved the “climate deal”, appointed judge Neil Gorsuch to SUPCO, recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, and a viciously bombed the Islamic State sanctuaries in the Middle East. Has Mr. Trump been a perfect President? Not at all, but he has been relentless, brutally honest and  true to his word, something that has been long forgotten in the alligator infested swamp of D.C.

“As a Known Crewmember, [Scott] McKinney allegedly took advantage of the security access allowed with his position by transmitting large sums of money across the country without a license,” said Angel M. Melendez, special agent in charge of HSI New York. “Those who choose to use their position’s security clearance at our airports to smuggle cash, narcotics, or any other unlawful good, pose a significant threat to our national security and our efforts are centered to shut down that vulnerability.”

“As alleged, Scott McKinney abused his privileges as an airline employee, misusing the Known Crewmember lane to smuggle hundreds of thousands of dollars through security, in furtherance of an illegal money transmitting business. Thanks to the dedicated investigative work of HSI, McKinney’s illegal money transmitting business has been grounded,” said Acting U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Joon H. Kim.

According to the complaint McKinney, a flight attendant based in California, conspired with others to operate an unlicensed money transmitting business and to violate airport security requirements moving packages containing $50,000 or more in cash at JFK Airport or other locations in New York City, without having a money transmitting license in New York or California, and was not registered as a money transmitter with the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network.

Two physician groups, EmCare Inc. (EmCare) and Physician’s Alliance Ltd (PAL), pleaded guilty for allegedly receiving illegal remuneration in exchange for patient referrals to hospitals owned by the now-defunct Health Management Associates (HMA).

Dallas-based EmCare provides physicians to hospitals to staff their Emergency Departments (EDs). Under the settlement with EmCare, the physician group will pay $29.6 million to resolve allegations that, from 2008 through 2012, EmCare received remuneration from HMA to recommend patients be admitted to HMA hospitals on an inpatient basis when the patients should have been treated on an outpatient basis. On average, Medicare pays at least three times as much for an inpatient admission as it does for outpatient care. As part of the alleged scheme, HMA made certain bonus payments to EmCare ED physicians and tied EmCare’s retention of existing contracts and receipt of new contracts to increased admissions of patients who came to the ED. 

In a separate settlement, PAL, headquartered in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and three of its executives, Lee Meyers, Michael Warren, M.D. and Wallace Longton, M.D., agreed to resolve allegations that, from 2009 until 2012, PAL accepted illegal remuneration from HMA to refer patients to two HMA hospitals, Lancaster Regional Medical Center and Heart of Lancaster Medical Center. Under the settlement, PAL and its executives will pay $4 million plus a percentage of proceeds from the sale of PAL’s interest in a joint venture with HMA.

“These settlements demonstrate our commitment to ensuring that physician judgment is not compromised by illegal inducements,” said Acting Assistant Attorney General for the Justice Department’s Civil Division, Chad A. Readler. “Patient care decisions should be based on the needs of patients rather than the financial interests of physicians.”

A 30-year-old Mexican national, Juan Eduardo Meraz-Flores, serving his third round in federal prison for entering the US illegally, was charged with murder in the fatal 2007 shooting in the head of a Fort Worth auto shop owner and married father of three. Meraz-Flores has a long criminal history that mirrors the outrageous and illegal disregard by Obama’s ICE political appointees of criminals being illegally in our country, despite his arrests for possession of marijuana, evading arrest, criminal mischief and burglary.

A subject of Interpol Red Notice international arrest warrant Elvis Recinos-Agreda, 39, was removed from the US via an ICE Air Operations Charter flight and transferred into the custody of Salvadoran authorities upon arrival to the capital of San Salvador.

“Recinos-Agreda sought refuge within our communities to avoid facing sexual assault charges in El Salvador. ICE has not wavered in its commitment to keeping our neighborhoods safe by arresting and removing those criminal aliens who seek to hide among the law-abiding residents of this great city,”said Thomas Decker, field office director for ERO New York. Recinos-Agreda is wanted by law enforcement authorities in El Salvador on charges of aggravated sexual assault of a disabled minor, pornography, sexual harassment, aggravated rape, sexual harassment, indecent exposure, other sexual assaults and continuous offenses.

He is also charged with two counts of attempted distribution of five kilograms or more of cocaine for importation into the United States for his involvement in a shipment of approximately 10 tons of cocaine, seized by Mexican authorities in October 2007, and a 2,400 kilogram shipment of cocaine seized by the Panamanian authorities in November 2007.

Weinreb after David Daoud Wright, a/k/a Dawud Sharif Abdul Khaliq, a/k/a Dawud Sharif Abdul Khaliq, 28, of Everett, Mass., was sentenced to 28 years in prison for a conspiracy to provide material support to ISIS, conspiracy to commit acts of terrorism transcending national boundaries, conspiracy to obstruct justice, and obstruction of justice. Beginning in 2015, Wright began discussing ISIS’ call to kill kafirs(non-believers) in the US by creating a “martyrdom” operation cell in Massachusetts named “Lions of America”, and plotted with co-conspirators to behead U.S. citizens at the direction of ISIS, identifying a New York woman as his first beheading target. Three knives were purchased for the  plot, and extensive research done on weapons, knives, machetes, bombing making components, and methods to subdue their victims. Wright also conducted research on “how to start a secret militia in the United States.”
