The European Union has agreed to buy up to 300 million doses of the BioNTech-Pfizer coronavirus vaccine,  with deliveries expected to start by the end of this year, but officials refused to provide details on how the vaccine would be rolled out, insisting that “a number of steps” needed to be followed beforehand.

Early data suggests the vaccine protects more than 90% of people from developing Covid-19 symptoms, as its developers, Pfizer and BioNTech, reported it had been tested on 43,500 people with no safety concerns raised.

European Health Commissioner Stella Kyriakides described the EU vaccine deal as “extremely important”:

“The agreement means we are a step closer to what we set out to do – to have a broad and solid vaccine portfolio,” she said, adding that it would only be distributed once it is “proven to be safe” but  refused to detail a specific timeline for when the vaccine would be delivered to member states.

“It has to receive authorization from the European Medicines Agency,” she said.

“A number of steps need to be followed before we will actually be able to have a timeline.”

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – A 22-year-old Houston man, identified as Maksim Klopovs admitted that he was to be paid for picking up a large load of electronics originally set for delivery to a college in Corpus Christi, after the shipment left the warehouse in Illinois, someone changed the delivery instructions using an online system, and rather than deliver it directly to Del Mar College, the shipping company was asked to hold the load at their Corpus Christi warehouse for pickup.

Klopovs is scheduled to be sentenced on April 6, facing up to 10 years in federal prison and a possible $250,000 maximum fine.

We will continue to pursue justice for the victims of these heinous attacks and for all American victims of terrorism.”

Richard Barnett, 60, of Gravette, Arkansas is to face the law on multiple criminal charges related to his alleged unlawful activities earlier this week at the U.S. Capitol Building where he was photographed with his feet up on a desk in the Speaker of the House of Representatives’ office, later on being arrested in Bentonville, Arkansas, scheduled to make his initial appearance in federal court, to be ultimately be extradited to Washington, D.C:

The US has increased its efforts in detecting new COVID-19 mutations in this country, and the White House coronavirus task force believes another highly infectious variant of the coronavirus may have evolved in the United States, according to a document that was sent out to other members of our union, with the new strain is already surging in our communities alongside the variant first detected in the United Kingdom and could be 50 percent more transmissible, the rate of infection almost double the number registered during spring and summer:

“This acceleration suggests there may be a USA variant that has evolved here, in addition to the UK variant that is already spreading in our communities and may be 50% more transmissible,” the report said.
“Aggressive mitigation must be used to match a more aggressive virus; without uniform implementation of effective face masking (two or three ply and well-fitting) and strict social distancing, epidemics could quickly worsen as these variants spread and become predominant.”

According to the data of Johns Hopkins University, the US is seeing at least around 228,000 new COVID-19 cases every day, accompanied by at least 2,700 deaths related to the virus per day.

The Justice Department has opened an investigation into the use of pepper spray at two juvenile correctional facilities run by the Nevada Juvenile Justice Services Agency: the Nevada Youth Training Center and the Summit View Youth Center,  the investigation to examine whether staff at the two facilities use pepper spray in a manner that violates youth’s rights under the Constitution.
