This Congress, @MarshaBlackburn and I introduced a bill to award the Congressional Gold Medal to MSG “Roddie” Edmonds, a lifelong Tennessean, because I do not know of a more inspiring example of the American character than the heroism of this 26-year-old East Tennessee soldier.

2…………..> ICE Most Wanted: Venezuela’s Bribes King

ICE Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) announced earlier this month the addition of Raul Antonio De La Santisima Trinidad Gorrin Belisario, a Venezuelan attorney and businessman, to its Most Wanted list for conspiracy to violate the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and several counts of money laundering, following indictment filed on August 16, 2017, in the Southern District of Florida, Gorrin Belisario’s subsequent escape from justice, and the updated FinCEN advisory (FIN-2019-A002, published by the U.S. Treasury Department’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network May 3, 2019) regarding widespread public corruption in Venezuela.

The indictment alleges that Gorrin Belisario, 50, a Venezuelan citizen with a residence in Miami, Florida, paid millions of dollars in bribes to two high-level Venezuelan officials to secure the rights to conduct foreign currency exchange transactions at favorable rates for the Venezuelan government. In addition to wiring money to bribe the officials, he allegedly purchased and paid expenses for them related to private jets, yachts, homes, champion horses, high-end watches, and a fashion line. To conceal the bribery payments, Gorrin Belisario made payments through multiple shell companies. Furthermore, he allegedly partnered with other subjects to acquire Banco Peravia, a bank in the Dominican Republic, to launder bribes paid to Venezuelan officials and stash the illicit proceeds of the scheme.

Gorrin Belisario was last seen in Caracas, Venezuela, and currently remains at-large.

3……………> US Watchdog After Trump: Law Breaking Accusation

In yet another partisan attack on President Trump, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) said in a report that the Trump Administration violated the law in holding up the aid, which Congress passed less than a year ago.
“The President is not vested with the power to ignore or amend any such duly enacted law,” the report said.
The findings are not legally binding and have no prosecutorial  power, and the aid was held up on orders from Mr. Trump, but was released after a complaint.
“Faithful execution of the law does not permit the President to substitute his own policy priorities for those that Congress has enacted into law,” the agency’s general counsel wrote in the report, completely ignoring the fact that son of current Democratic party leading candidate for President of the United States Joe, “Sleeping in a wrong century” Biden, Hunter was paid a million dollars a year to sit on a company board, just because it provided a channel for influence on US Government decision making: i.e. a  blatant corruption.

4…………> The Bashful Chinese Banker: Apartment Full With Cash

A top Chinese banker identified as Lai Xiaomin confessed to taking more than 200 million yuan ($42 million) in cash bribes and stuffing the notes in cabinets in his apartment, due to being “too scared to spend” his millions in cash bribes as chairman of China Huarong Asset Management, one of the country’s top banks, and the Communist Party chief inside the company.

He confirmed taking the bribes during a confession in a documentary on state broadcaster CCTV.

Authorities found the cash was packed into cupboards, along with a large number of other items such as luxury watches, gold and artworks. The documentary also said Mr. Lai owned numerous properties and luxury cars.

“I didn’t even spend a cent … It’s all confiscated by the [Communist] Party in the end. What’s the point to have that much money?” Mr. Lai said.

5…………> Chinese Drone Fishermen: Better Paid Than MD’s

It has been known for some time that “China rewards fishers who netted foreign spy devices,” but it was 11 three fishermen receiving awards, one woman, the rest men – who found seven devices in total, spy drones to be specific on Jiangsu shores.

And the ceremony following, the rewards were huge – up to 500,000 yuan ($72,000) – around 17 times the average disposable income in China.

Jiangsu shoreline is stretching for some 620 miles, facing Japan and South Korea, while Taiwan is around 500 miles south. This geography – and the huge US presence in the region, is the reason keep finding these drones.

1…………> Criminal Ring Busted: NY City

Thirty-two individuals were arrested on narcotics and gambling charges following an investigation by ICE, working jointly with the New York City Police Department (NYPD). The investigation, being prosecuted out of New York City’s Special Narcotics Prosecutor’s Office, uncovered a large-scale alleged cocaine and heroin distribution network centered in the East Village and a related gambling operation located in a busy commercial district near West 11th Street and Avenue of the Americas in the West Village. Beginning early Friday morning, 32 individuals were arrested in New York City, Massachusetts, Georgia and Florida. An indictment filed by the Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor (SNP) for the City of New York follows a long-term wiretap investigation by HSI and NYPD’s Narcotics Borough Manhattan South, Gang Squad Manhattan South and Vice Squad.

“Those arrested today are not just alleged to have been involved in selling highly addictive drugs on city streets, but they are also connected with a sophisticated underground gambling operation right here in Manhattan,” said Angel M. Melendez, Special Agent in Charge of HSI New York.

The investigation began with cocaine and heroin trafficking and ultimately led police to a sophisticated illegal gambling operation that catered to a clientele of New York City professionals. The indictment identifies David Diaz as the head of both the narcotics distribution network and the gambling operation, which included the Poker House located at 446 Avenue of the Americas and online gambling business. Diaz allegedly ran these interconnected narcotics and gambling operations with assistance from two top associates. Defendant Benjamin Guerrero maintained an alleged drug stash apartment in residence occupied by family members at 536 East 5th Street in the East Village and oversaw the packaging and sales of narcotics. Guerrero also served as a “pit boss” for the West Village Poker House.

2…………> Dog Fighting Circuit Crushed: FBI

A North Carolina man was sentenced yesterday to one year and one day in prison to be followed by three years of supervised release for his role in dog fighting activities. On Jan. 12, Brexton Redell Lloyd, 54, of Eagle Springs, North Carolina, pleaded guilty to one felony count of conspiracy and two felony counts of possession and training a dog intended for use in an animal fighting venture, contrary to the animal fighting provisions of the federal Animal Welfare Act. According to documents filed with the court, Lloyd participated with Justin “Jay” Love and others in a multi-state dog fighting conspiracy. These documents describe Lloyd and Love’s attempt to set up a dogfight between Lloyd and an unknown opponent in October 2015 and Lloyd’s breeding and training activities. Court documents further note that last year, federal agents seized 13 pitbull-type dogs from Lloyd’s residence. Ten of the dogs were secured outdoors by excessive chains, wearing thick collars, and positioned so that each dog was out of reach of any other dog. The other dogs were housed individually in pens. The water in the dogs’ bowls was frozen. Two of the four adult dogs seized exhibited scars consistent with dog fighting, and a third adult dog had four fractured teeth. In addition to the dogs, agents took items related to training dogs for dog fighting purposes, including a spring pole, a dog harness, and a hanging scale. Agents also seized veterinary supplies, including intravenous fluids, intravenous administration sets stated for “Veterinary Use Only,” injectable and other antibiotics, a 100-count package of syringes, blood-clotting medications such as Blood Stop Powder, and a skin stapler.

“Animal cruelty like the conduct, in this case, has no place in a civilized society,” said Acting Assistant Attorney General Wood.

“Yesterday’s sentencing sends a strong message that we are bringing to justice those who engage in illegal dog fighting and that anyone who engages in this conduct does so at the risk of significant jail time.”

With temperatures built to around 113 degrees Fahrenheit in many parts inland areas of Portugal and were expected to peak at 117F in some places on Saturday, temperatures breaking records in eight cities.

Large sections of Portugal are on red alert on the Civil Protection Agency’s danger scale as a wave of heat from North Africa swept across the Iberian peninsula, with officials predicting the scorching temperatures could get even worse over the weekend.

Emergency services have issued a red alert through Sunday, placing extra medical staff and firefighters on standby. In Portugal’s southern Alentejo province, streets were mostly deserted. Some farmers chose to work during the night instead of in the heat of the day. Beaches around Lisbon, the capital, were packed.

Gold down to 1221.9 and USD/CHF down 0.99 due to President Trump setting tariffs on Chinese products. Translation? As the dollar goes down, we have to wait and see if the new Fed Chair Jerome Powell will continue pressuring gold and the Eurasian block with it down below $1000/oz in an economic WW3. Watch sell stop at 24,400.
We have to wait and see if new Fed chair Powell will attempt to destroy Eurasian block by sending gold prices below 1000, despite the fact both Russia and China have been buying their whole gold production in local gold backed currency instead of money printing machines. In other words, US has lost controls of the precious metals complex, and with Trump’s infrastructure and tax cut campaign the National debt will soon be at, or over 30 trillion dollars, since D.C. swamp alligators have no intention dropping their pet projects. Read “Ziban Must Die” for more details on the coming collision of Trump’s administration with “Deep State” operators funded by the billionaires’ supporters of the New World Disorder.
