1…………> Today’s White House Tweets

Donald J. Trump

Donald J. Trump

So some day, if a Democrat becomes President and the Republicans win the House, even by a tiny margin, they can impeach the President, without due process or fairness or any legal rights. All Republicans must remember what they are witnessing here – a lynching. But we will WIN!

In @Senator Tim Scott’s home state of South Carolina, a $54 million tech coridor is finally becoming a reality because of the White House’s Opportunity Zones initiative

2…………>  Chicago ICE Enforcement: Hiring Illegal Aliens

The following four operators were charged with one count of knowingly harboring an illegal alien and one count of knowingly engaging in a pattern or practice of hiring illegal aliens: Dora Kuzelka, 81, of Elgin, Illinois; Kenneth Kuzelka, 62, of Chicago; Kari Kuzelka, 56, of Elgin; and Keith Kuzelka, 58, of Elgin.

According to the complaint, HSI’s Chicago office conducted a civil audit of KSO MetalFab in 2017 and determined that 36 of the company’s 67 employees were suspected of using fraudulent work authorization documents to verify their eligibility for employment.

Four operators of a suburban Chicago manufacturing company were charged in federal court Friday with knowingly hiring and harboring illegal aliens.

Keith Kuzelka left the company last year; the other three Kuzelkas continue to serve in executive management positions, the complaint states.

KSO MetalFab later re-hired at least 18 of the previously terminated workers by utilizing a staffing agency, the complaint states.

3…………> Sultan Erdogan To Kurds: Get Out Or Else

A US-led multinational coalition relied on the YPG to battle Islamic State (IS) militants in Syria over the past four years, but the Turkish government views it as a terrorist organisation with links to a Kurdish rebel group fighting in Turkey.

Some 120 civilians have been killed in the battle, along with 259 Kurdish fighters, 196 Turkish-backed Syrian rebels and seven Turkish soldiers, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), a UK-based monitoring group.

The UN says more than 176,000 people, including almost 80,000 children, have been displaced in the past two weeks in north-east Syria, which is home to some 3 million people.

Turkey’s president has threatened to resume an offensive in north-east Syria unless Kurdish fighters withdraw from the border before a ceasefire ends.

Up to 1,300 People’s Protection Units (YPG) militia members still had to pull back before 22:00 (19:00 GMT) on Tuesday, Recep Tayyip Erdogan warned.

The offensive began after President Trump ordered US troops to leave the border area – a decision that was widely criticized by US lawmakers.

4…………>  Trump ‘Lynching’ Remark: Not Welcome

President Trump calling the congressional impeachment investigation that may seek to remove him from office “a lynching” ignited outrage among African-American lawmakers, for his likening of a process enshrined in the US constitution to racist killings.

Bobby Rush, an Illinois Democrat, tweeted to Mr Trump: “What the hell is wrong with you?”

“Do you know how many people who look like me have been lynched, since the inception of this country, by people who look like you

Mr Trump has repeatedly called the impeachment inquiry, as well as an earlier investigation into foreign meddling in the 2016 election, a “witch hunt”

A racially loaded term in the US, lynching refers to historic extrajudicial executions by white mobs mainly against African Americans.

5…………> Trump’s Kurds Protection Plan: Sparks Anger

A US-brokered ceasefire between Turkish and Kurdish forces ends on Tuesday night, and President Trump says some US troops may stay in Syria to protect the oilfields there, as up to 350,000 Kurds have been displaced by Turkey’s invasion.

The statement from the US President has been taken as another insult by desperate Kurds who are on the run from a Turkish invasion that could resume again on Tuesday night.

“So why should we put our soldiers in the midst of two large groups, hundreds of thousands potentially, of people, and they’re fighting? I don’t think so,” he said.

Turkey invaded Kurdish areas two weeks ago after Mr Trump said US troops based there would leave and would not interfere with a Turkish attack.

Mr. Trump said they had been fighting for 300 years, seemingly referring to the Kurds and Turkey, who have been at odds for the past 40 years.

Mr.Trump said he may keep a small force of US soldiers in Kurdish-controlled Syria to protect the region’s oilfields.
