1………..> Seattle “Red Barron”: Crashed Plane

A twin-engine turboprop Bombardier Q400 belonging to Alaska Airlines’ subsidiary Horizon Air made “an unauthorized take-off” from Seattle-Tacoma at about 20:00 local time (03:00 GMT) yesterday, piloted by an airline employee who stole the empty passenger plane from the airport and later crashed on a nearby island after being pursued by two NORAD F15 fighter jets.

The local sheriff’s office said it was “not a terrorist incident,” adding that the man was local and aged 29.

The North American Aerospace Defense Command (Norad) report stated that two F15s were launched from Portland to intercept the passenger plane, that which was flying erratically and making loops over the water.

Norad said that the intruder crashed on the southern tip of Ketron island,” about 30 miles (48km) south of the airport.

3…………> Uighur Gulags: China

A member of the UN Committee on Human Rights has estimated that two million Uighurs and Muslim minorities were forced into “political camps for indoctrination” in the western Xinjiang autonomous region by the man who according to the “Fake News”, CFR controlled media has a “very good chemistry” with US President Mr. Donald Trump; i.e. President of China and 1st secretary of the powerful military commission Mr.Xi.

“We are deeply concerned at the many numerous and credible reports that we have received,” she told the start of a two-day regular review of China’s record, including Hong Kong and Macao.

“That is the name of combating religious extremism and maintaining social stability (China) has changed the Uighur autonomous region into something that resembles a massive internship camp that is shrouded in secrecy, a sort of ‘no rights zone.’

“There are estimates that upwards of a million people are being held in so-called counter-extremism centers and another 2 million have been forced into so-called re-education camps for political and cultural indoctrination.” She did not specify a source for that information in her remarks at the hearing. 4…………> Monsanto Pestisides; Carcinogens

A Californian jury found that Chemical giant Monsanto knew its Roundup and RangerPro weedkillers were dangerous and failed to warn consumers, ordering it to pay $289m damages to a groundskeeper named Dewayne Johnson who claimed herbicides containing glyphosate had caused his non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma cancer.

It’s the first lawsuit to go to trial alleging a glyphosate link to cancer, a claim Monsanto denies and says it intends to appeal against the ruling. (BBC)

5…………> Take This Dollar & Shove It: Erdogan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan rejected “threatening language” of the President Trump’s administration.

“They are threatening us. You cannot bring [Turkish] people to their knees by using a threatening language. We are knowledgeable with justice and law,” Erdogan said after President Trump doubled U.S. tariffs on Turkish aluminum and steel imports to 20 % and 50%.

Calling on the U.S., Erdogan said: “It is a shame. You prefer a pastor to a strategic ally of yours in NATO.”

Later speaking in northeastern Rize province, Erdogan spoke of Turkey’s plans to trade in local currencies with some countries.

“We are preparing to trade in our local currencies with the countries that we have the largest trade volume with, such as China, Russia, Iran, and Ukraine.”

Turkey will “never accept the order, which declares war against the whole world,” through the threats of sanctions, he said, referring to the U.S. (AA)
