A Canadian national, with a long history of criminal convictions in the U.S., was removed by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) for immigration violations and turned over to Canadian authorities where he is wanted on a narcotics conviction.

Sebastian Rosales entered the U.S. as a nonimmigrant visitor in 1988. He was arrested in Florida in 1993 for vehicle theft and burglary and sentenced to a year and a half of probation. It is unknown when he departed the U.S. for Canada. He attempted to reenter the U.S. again in 2000 but was denied entry based on his past criminal conviction.

Rosales reentered the U.S. at an unknown date and place without being inspected, admitted or paroled by a U.S. Immigration official.

“This individual’s long history of criminal activity, including selling drugs near school zones, show that he is a danger to the community who warranted removal from the US.”

Rosales was removed on April 3, 2019, accompanied by ICE officers, and transferred to Canadian authorities in Montreal

On January 24, 2019, an immigration judge in Elizabeth, NJ ordered Rosales removed to Canada

NORFOLK (NNS) — Chief of Naval Operations, Adm. John Richardson, announced the establishment of U.S. 2nd Fleet during a change of command ceremony for U.S. Fleet Forces Command (USFF) in Norfolk, May 4.

Second Fleet will exercise operational and administrative authorities over assigned ships, aircraft and landing forces on the East Coast and northern Atlantic Ocean. Additionally, it will plan and conduct maritime, joint and combined operations and will train, certify and provide maritime forces to respond to global contingencies. Commander, 2nd Fleet will report to USFF.

“Our National Defense Strategy makes clear that we’re back in an era of great power competition as the security environment continues to grow more challenging and complex,” said Richardson. “That’s why today, we’re standing up Second Fleet to address these changes, particularly in the north Atlantic.”

Three men were arrested Sunday in Mexicali, Baja California, after security forces discovered drugs and a border tunnel between the city and Calexico, California.

The men were arrested as they unloaded packages from a dump truck at a home located in the Santa Clara neighborhood about 130 meters from the border.

Upon further inspection, state police and soldiers found 460 grams of methamphetamine, along with an AK-47 assault rifle, and located an unfinished 700-meter-long tunnel inside the home. It led towards a commercial center in Calexico.
