British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been moved out of intensive care but remains in a London hospital for his coronavirus infection, and is in n extremely good spirit, after has been moved this evening from intensive care back to the ward, where he will receive close monitoring during the early phase of his recovery. It is not clear yet when he will be able to return to full time work, as the government is urging people not to ignore the coronavirus lockdown over the Easter holiday weekend.

The number of people worldwide who have tested positive has just hit 1.6 million, up from 1.5 the day before, with the worst-hit countries currently are the US (465,329 cases), Spain (153,222), Italy (143,626), France (118,783) and Germany (118,235), China (82,885), Iran (66,220) and the UK (65,872).

But the number of patients newly admitted to a hospital in the state dropped for a second day, to 200. Cuomo said it was a sign that social distancing was working, and warned people not to relax their adherence to the guidelines.

Overall, the US has seen more than 16,500 coronavirus deaths, and currently has more than 430,000 confirmed infections.

3…………> In The Root Of Corona-Virus, China Reclassify Dogs As Pets, Not Livestock

The move follows a total ban on the consumption and trade of dogs and cats in Shenzhen last week, a potential game changer, as animal rights groups are praising China’s draft law to reclassify dogs as pets, rather than livestock.

The country’s animal trade has been blamed as the origin of the coronavirus, as the virus is believed to have originated at a wet market in Wuhan, selling a variety of animals and meat including bats and porcupines and other rare species, with the virus is believed to have originated in horseshoe bats, which then passed the virus to humans through intermediary species, possibly pangolins, which were sold at the market.

4…………> An Bioterrorist Attack Example: The Spread Of COVID-19

The lack of preparedness in the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, revealed how non-state actors, or in fact a cosmic explosion over earth could access deadly strains to mimic a bioterrorist attack, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres told the UN Security Council:

“The weaknesses and lack of preparedness exposed by this pandemic provide a window onto how a bioterrorist attack might unfold – and may increase its risks.Non-state groups could gain access to virulent strains that could pose similar devastation to societies around the globe”,Guterres said, adding that that some actors might take advantage of the current global crisis and promote further division resulting in the escalation of violence and potential evastating miscalculations in regions already ravaged by conflict.

George Sorbane Quotes:

1. “So Alex was counting the days until he would step on the holy soil of Boston, ready to breathe the cold Atlantic air and sense the spirits of those remarkable people about whom he had read so much with nearly religious admiration, walk the streets in their footsteps, and pray in the churches where they had found peace and solace in times of fateful junction.”― “The Endless Beginning”

“Nancy Pelosi said, it’s not a question of proof, it’s a question of allegations! Oh really?”

What a disgrace this Impeachment Scam is for our great Country!

2…………> US On Dangerous Path: President Trump

President Trump’s legal team issued a  furious response ahead of opening arguments in his impeachment trial, rejecting of the impeachment charges, and encouraged the Senate to reject “poisonous partisanship”, while House Democrats led by Nancy, “Anyone caught urinating in front of my mansion will be deported to Arizona” Pelosi  presented their case in forceful fashion, saying the President betrayed public trust with behavior that was the “worst nightmare” of the founding fathers, and released a document supporting their charges.

“President Donald J. Trump used his official powers to pressure a foreign government to interfere in a United States election for his personal political gain. [He] then attempted to cover up his scheme by obstructing Congress’s investigation into his misconduct,” House impeachment managers wrote.

“The Senate should convict and remove President Trump to avoid serious and long-term damage to our democratic values and the nation’s security,” the document said, for the first time formally calling for the Senate to convict the President and remove him from office.

Mr. Trump’s legal team issued a resounding rejection of the impeachment charges, which were read out in the Senate earlier in the week during formalities setting the stage for the trial.

“President Trump categorically and unequivocally denies each and every allegation in both articles of impeachment,” the Trump lawyers’ document said.

“This is a brazen and unlawful attempt to overturn the results of the 2016 election and interfere with the 2020 election — now just months away,” they argued in a six-page document released on Saturday.

3……………> China’s Forgotten Children: In The Millions

Nearly 7 million children are “left behind” in rural areas while both parents worked in big cities to support the family, with the wealth divide and the strict household registration policy that limits the free migration of the population in China to blame for the social phenomenon.

“We haven’t spoken much for many years. We started to quarrel whenever we tried to talk to each other, so we just gave up on talking if [there was] nothing important,” a forgotten child told reporter.

“I know many people are in a similar position with me, with parents working away and being brought up by grandparents.

“But what I can’t let go of is parents of others at least come back home every Spring Festival. My parents haven’t come back for 10 years. They care too much about money.”

4……………> A Mayhem In Beirut: Arrests & Injuries

More than 370 people have been injured during several hours of clashes between Lebanese security forces and protesters that rocked central Beirut on Saturday, as police fired tear gas and unleashed water cannon on the crowds, and protests erupted following the government imposition of the “Whatsapp tax.”
People struggle to withdraw more than a few hundred dollars from banks each week, with the country sinking deeper into an economic crisis, and anger has boiling over at a ruling elite who have dominated power since the 1975-1990 civil war.

The Lebanese Red Cross said it had treated 220 people who were wounded on both sides on Saturday, taking 80 of them to hospital. The Civil Defense said it had given first aid to 114 others and taken 43 people to hospital, and The Internal Security Forces said 142 police were injured.

5…………> Orthodox Christians Take Epiphany Ice Baths

Millions of Orthodox Christians have taken their annual plunge into freezing waters to mark Epiphany. The ritual, to mark the baptism of Jesus, involves submerging yourself three times to “wash away your sins.”

2…………>Merry Christmas Hezbollah: IDF

Israel’s IDF launched Operation Northern Shield in December, with security forces locating and destroying four tunnels under the country’s northern border, believed to be dug by Hezbollah terrorists to smuggle militants and weapons.

Israel traditionally views Hezbollah’s presence in Lebanon and Syria as a threat to its national security as the movement is backed by Iran, which is Israel’s key rival in the region.

This comes after the IDF said last week it destroyed attack tunnels discovered close to the Israeli-Lebanese border, following the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) confirming the existence of all tunnels that Israeli forces discovered along the border between Israel and Lebanon.

3…………>A Sicilian Christmas: Mt.Etna Earthquake

Residents of the Italian island of Sicily are keeping a close eye on Mount Etna, in an expectation of an ongoing eruption that triggered an earthquake on Wednesday in which 10 people were injured and several buildings damaged.

The quake struck in the early hours of the morning with a magnitude of 4.8 on the Richter scale, according to Italy’s seismology institute (INGV). It came after a series of some 1,000 tremors in the past few days, at least 60 of which topped a reading of 2.5.

Although the earthquake hit to the north of Catania, the largest city in eastern Sicily, no damage or injuries were reported there, but other towns experienced cracks opening in buildings, while a number of villagers fled their homes in panic. Two people were rescued from a collapsed building. (DW)

We have to wait and see if new Fed chair Powell will attempt to destroy Eurasian block by sending gold prices below 1000, despite the fact both Russia and China have been buying their whole gold production in local gold backed currency instead of money printing machines. In other words, US has lost controls of the precious metals complex, and with Trump’s infrastructure and tax cut campaign the National debt will soon be at, or over 30 trillion dollars, since D.C. swamp alligators have no intention dropping their pet projects. Christmas In Baltimore: A Rocket Launcher

Baltimore, a US city with more than 600,000 residents located 37 miles northwest of Washington DC, is America’s deadliest big city, with the number of homicides in the city surpassing 300 each of the last four years, including 343 in 2017.

Police collected 1,860 weapons as part of a three-day buyback operation aimed at getting illegal firearms off the streets, and city Mayor Catherine Pugh tweeted that one of the weapons was a rocket launcher, which was traded for $500.

Authorities have contacted the United States military and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives in attempt to discover its origin.
