Top Secret documentation related to the maintenance and operation of US MQ-9 Reaper military drones has recently been offered to the highest bidder, sold by a dark web hacker, after computer of “a captain at 432d Aircraft Maintenance Squadron Reaper AMU OIC, stationed at the Creech AFB in Nevada” was compromised and a trove of documents  stolen, including Reaper maintenance course books and the list of airmen assigned to Reaper AMU.

“While such course books are not classified materials on their own, in unfriendly hands, they could provide an adversary the ability to assess technical capabilities and weaknesses in one of the most technologically advanced aircraft,” the authorities said.

Bastille Day 2018: Pomp, pride, and heavy security



The Islamic Sheikdom of France is celebrating the Bastille Day with a traditional display of military grandeur, as thousands of police and gendarmes are also working to provide security behind the scenes.

Thousands gathered in Paris for the Bastille Day military parade, set to involve 4,290 soldiers, 220 vehicles, 250 horses, 64 jets and 30 helicopters. This year’s motto is “Fraternity in Arms,” with Spanish gendarmes and Belgian armored vehicles also making an appearance.
