KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — An east Tennessee man who coerced minor victims into sending him sexually explicit images will spend 30 years in federal prison for his offenses, the sentence was announced by the acting U.S. attorney for the eastern district of Tennessee, with the investigation was conducted by the Homeland Security Investigations and Knoxville Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children unit:

“Working with our law enforcement partners, HSI agents make it a top priority to protect all vulnerable children who become victims of online sexual predators,” said Jerry C. Templet, Jr, special agent in charge, HSI Nashville.

“I commend our agents for their efforts in this case, which resulted in a guilty plea and a lengthy federal prison sentence for the offender.”

Despite still being a dominant currency across the globe, the share of the US dollar held worldwide by the government, central banks, and other financial institutions as foreign exchange reserves has reached its lowest level in the last 25 years – 59 percent – during the fourth quarter of the financial year 2020, the US dollar has declined mostly due to increasing competition from other currencies used by central banks for international transactions.

Foreign exchange analysts and economists have credited the 12 percent decline, from 71 to 59 percent, since the euro was launched in 1999 to the US monetary policy changes in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and China’s growing capacities in global trade.

According to Canadian police, four members of a Muslim family were killed in a “premeditated” vehicle attack on Sunday,  in a pickup truck mounted the kerb and hit the victims in the city of London, Ontario province. A boy aged nine, the family’s only survivor, is seriously injured in hospital.

A 20-year-old Canadian man has been charged with four counts of murder and one count of attempted murder, and police believe the collision was a planned hate crime:

“It is believed that these victims were targeted because they were Muslim,” Detective Superintendent Paul Waight told a news conference
