2…………> Multiple Vicious Tornado Hits: Southern Ohio

Multiple tornadoes were reported in Ohio, blowing out windows and toppling trees, as one slammed into the city of Dayton, Ohio, leaving seven people were injured and more than 75,000 homes were without power, with social media showed images of debris flying in the air and damaged mobile homes and cars, and severe storms were forecast to pound the area overnight, officials reports said.

At least two other tornadoes touched down near the city, including one near Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, just east of Dayton, media reports said

We’ll have to get survey crews on the ground in the morning to confirm the severity of the storms, but yes, there is at least one tornado touch-down in the city,” said Zack Taylor, a meteorologist with the NWS Weather Prediction Centre in College Park, Maryland.

3…………> Brazilian Prisons Mayhem: Heavy Casualties

Gang violence in four prisons in the north of Brazil has left more than 50 people killed over two days, with prisoners “”, slain in front of visiting relatives a day earlier,  and at least 42 prisoners were found strangled to death in the jails in the state of Amazonas following a fight between rival gangs a day earlier at one of the jails, Anisio Jobim Prison Complex in the state capital of Manaus, left 15 dead, according to authorities.

Fighting in 2017 left 56 people dead at one of the prisons, a statement from the Amazonas state prison department confirmed the deaths, which were apparently the result of clashes between rival factions.

The violence often rapidly spreads to other jails, which are typically under the control of drug factions, and the department said the situation was “under control” and prisoners were under lockdowns.

4…………> Big Fish On The Opioid Trial Grill: Johnson & Johnson

Johnson & Johnson, one of the world’s largest drug manufacturers, is on trial in a multi-billion dollar lawsuit by the state of Oklahoma, facing allegation that is the “kingpin” behind “the worst man-made public health crisis in [the] state’s history,” growing and importing raw materials which other drug-makers used for their own products.

Earlier this month, Israel-based Teva Pharmaceuticals agreed to an $85m settlement with Oklahoma over a similar lawsuit which claimed its opioids had contributed to the deaths of thousands of people.

The wealthy Sackler family, which owns the firm, has been charged with fraudulently transferring money from the company to protect its funds from litigation, and the Purdue Pharma – which produces the prescription painkiller OxyContin,  also settled for $270m settlement with Oklahoma in a separate case

5…………> New Underground “Alien” Base : Area 51

The US Air Force facility known as Area 51 has already earned a top spot in the staple of conspiracy theories regarding extraterrestrial spacecraft and alien lifeforms, but now famous UFO hunter Scott C. Waring has discovered while studying satellite maps that a new underground installation is being constructed in the vicinity, with two fields located near the base where crops may be “grown for genetic research“.

Nevada native George Sorbane joked in his book ” The Endless Beginning” some years back, that a desperate crowd of space travelers landed on our celestial home Sheep’s Range, after their planetary cluster ran out of strawberries and garlic ice cream, and struck a deal with US government to get those two commodities in abundance in return for extraterrestrial  infusion of know-how.
