Today, I took action to strengthen our Nation’s defenses against biological threats. For the first time in history, the Federal Government has a National Biodefense Strategy to address the FULL RANGE of biological threats!

2…………>Reduce “Bio Threat”: President Trump

Today marks the 17th anniversary of the infamous “anthrax letters,” distributed beginning one week after the September 11 attacks of 2001.

“Thought to be an indication of possible further terrorist activity,” National Security Advisor John Bolton says, these letters brought to Americans’ attention—many for the first time—the genuine threat of bioweapons in the hands of our enemies. America cannot afford to take chances. Under President Donald J. Trump, it won’t. Today, the President signed off on a first-of-its-kind National Biodefense Strategy, one that signals “a new direction” in our approach to biological threats. The strategy’s principal objective is creating a more efficient and accountable biodefense enterprise.

3…………>Sessions “Swan Song”: Clock Ticking

President Trump said again that he does not “have an attorney general,” in his fiercest attack yet on Jeff Sessions in an interview with Hill.TV, Mr. Trump renewed criticism of Mr. Sessions’ decision to step aside from the inquiry into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election.

He also said he was unhappy with Mr. Sessions’ response to immigration, an observation backed up by two key Republican senators signaled that they would support Mr. Trump if he were to fire Mr. Sessions after the November mid-term elections.

“I don’t have an attorney general. It’s unfortunate. We’ll see what happens. A lot of people have asked me to do that. And I guess I study history, and I say I just want to leave things alone, but it was very unfair what he did [in recusing himself from the Russia investigation].” Mr. Trump said.

4…………> DPRK To De-Nuclearize: Comrade Un

Despite the “Trump mud slinging” by “New World Disorder”, “Fake New” media, led by the Communist News Network, South Korean President Moon Jae-in and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un announced a sweeping set of agreements that include a promise by the North to “permanently” abolish its crucial missile facilities in the presence of foreign experts, and to close its main nuclear complex if the United States takes reciprocal action.

The leaders touted the agreements as a significant step toward peace on the Korean peninsula, with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un says he may make a historic first visit to Seoul and  the two Koreas also plan to make a bid to host the 2032 Summer Olympics jointly.

5…………> Islamic May’sdom Of UK: Personal Slavery

“This case concerns the systematic and brutal assault and detention of two women. Jean Kelly, we say, is the guiding word in the detention and forced labor of both of them,” prosecutor Graham Russell told the jury in West Midlands in England who forced a vulnerable mother and daughter living next door to them into domestic slavery by breaking their bones and beating them with baseball bat.

UK mother Kate Dagley, 45 and her daughter Karen Jenkins, 27 were kept as prisoners by Jean Kelly, 53, her husband Michael, 43, her daughter Anastasia Hitt, her partner Ian Healy, 29 and their baby. Ms. Dagley and Miss. Jenkins was living on the same floor in the apartment block in Coventry when they became the family’s victims.

The court was told Jean Kelly, who despite using a wheelchair, was the ringleader and nicknamed her baseball bat “Bob.” Kelly was found guilty of two charges under the Modern Slavery Act.

1…………> “Back To Missippi Burning”: AK Cop Fired

Entertainment executive Demarcus Bunch and his team were driving through the city of England, Arkansas as Bunch was scouting for a location to shoot a music video in their hometown when they felt of being followed by a police officer.

Bunch approached the officer to ask him why.

“You understand I know who my people are, right? Who belongs here, who doesn’t? You don’t belong in my city” officer Moore told the group.

Bunch and his friends recorded the encounter and then filed a complaint with the police department but after getting no response, decided to post the video on Facebook.

The England Police Department terminated Moore from the department effective Aug. 8. He was also fired from the Lonoke Police Department last May. (AA)

2…………> Applied Global Warming: Dead Fish & Dry Rivers

Dying fish and drying rivers — consequences of Europe’s summer heat wave
became very evident when dead fish have been pulled out of the Islamic Merkeldom of Germany’s waterways, and lakes by the ton, the extreme heat due to the global warming is the chief culprit among factors altering fish habitat.

Although the Dreisam River is less than 19 miles long, the residents of Freiburg are still proud of their waterway that runs right through the southern German city, carrying snowmelt and providing an attractive opportunity to the residents of Freiburg to cool off in summer.

But these days, the river has turned into a rocky desert wash, when the local fishing club had preemptively caught fish and released them in other bodies of water.

“You have to measure water temperature and oxygen content continuously,” fish expert Peter Rudolph explained.

“When you see the first dead fish, it is too late to save the stock. All you can do then is leave the matter over to nature.”

3…………> Romania Boiling: Riots & Mayhem

Tens of thousands of Romanians gathered for the second night of protests in the capital Bucharest after 455 people were injured the day before in a mass protest against the corruption by the ruling regime that has turned their country one of the poorest in the EU.

“I came after seeing what happened on Friday on television — the brutality of the police against peaceful people,” Floarea Toader, 64, told the Agence France-Presse news agency.

“My children work in Spain, and they would like to come back. But for now, that’s not possible as the politicians are only interested in themselves and do nothing for anyone else.”(DW)

1…………> Applied Global Warming: Japan Floods

At least 51 people have died and many more are missing after heavy rains caused flooding and landslides across much of western Japan, with Motoyama, near Tokyo, getting unheard of 23 inches of rainfall, with heavy rains expected to continue through Sunday and 48,000 police, firefighters and Self-Defence Force personnel mobilized to help with the rescue effort.

Hiroshima Prefecture was hit the hardest with numerous landslides that killed at least 15 people and authorities have warned that the death toll will continue to rise.

2…………> Anne Frank In USA: Dream Of Freedom

On November 9, 1938, the Nazis terrorized Jews throughout the country in the violent Kristallnacht pogroms, also known as the “Night of Broken Glass”, and according to a recent research the family of Anne Frank attempted to emigrate to the US, and later to Cuba, but their efforts were tragically thwarted by America’s restrictive immigration policy and the outbreak of World War II.

“I am forced to look out for emigration and as far as I can see the USA is the only country we could go to,” Otto Frank wrote in English to a friend in the US in 1941.

His efforts to get the family out of the Netherlands to the US likely started as early as 1938 — a turbulent year in which Nazi Germany annexed Austria and part of Czechoslovakia into the Third Reich. (DW)

4…………> New World’s Champion: England?

England has booked their place in the World Cup semifinals for the first time since 1990 courtesy of a 2-0 win over Sweden. Harry Maguire and Dele Alli got the goals either side of half-time.

England followed up their penalty shootout win on Wednesday with a convincing 2-0 victory over Sweden in Samara Arena on Sunday.

Harry Maguire scored his first international goal to give England the early lead. Dele Alli got on the score sheet as well as England qualified for their first World Cup semifinal in 28 years.

With the wind in their sails, The Three Lions came close to extending the lead before the break as Raheem Sterling squandered two golden opportunities in one-on-one situations with Olsen. (BBC)

5…………> US/China Trade War: No Soybeans

The unintended consequences of the US/China tariff war are hitting hard, as China reduced commitments to buy 366,000 metric tons of U.S. soybeans in the season that ends Aug. 31 and further cut plans to buy 66,000 tons in the following year.

Soybeans are on the hit list of American goods now being targeted by Chinese tariffs that went into effect Friday after the U.S. implemented a raft of duties earlier in the day and President Donald Trump threatened more action. The oilseed is the top agricultural commodity that the U.S. ships to China by far and is among the largest products for overall exports.
