1…………> Harvard Racists vs. The People: DOJ

The Department of Justice today filed a Statement of Interest on the side of the plaintiff in “Students For Fair Admissions”, Inc. v. “President And Fellows Of Harvard College” in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.

The plaintiff, “Students For Fair Admissions”, an organization of students and parents, alleges that Harvard College intentionally discriminates against Asian-American applicants when making admissions decisions, and seeks relief from Harvard’s alleged discrimination under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, a cornerstone civil rights law that prohibits discrimination by race, color, or national origin in programs and activities that receive federal financial assistance.

The Department opened a Title VI investigation into Harvard’s admissions process in 2017 based upon a complaint filed by more than 60 Asian-American organizations. The United States’ Statement of Interest filed today argues that Harvard has failed to show that it does not unlawfully discriminate against Asian Americans. As a condition1 of receiving millions of dollars in taxpayer funding every year, Harvard agrees explicitly to not discriminate by race in its admissions decisions. However, the students and parents who brought this suit have presented compelling evidence that Harvard’s use of race unlawfully discriminates against Asian Americans.

2…………> On The Road To Indiana: President Trump

A visit to the critical state of Indiana unleashed a river of enthusiasm  and good will by the people who came to see their favorite President, Mr. Donald J. Trump. He used the positive vibes of the day to underline his support for Texas Senator Senator Ted Cruz, and support on Second Amendment, Crime, Borders, Military, and Vets!

I will be doing a major rally for Senator Ted Cruz in October. I’m picking the biggest stadium in Texas we can find. As you know, Ted has my complete and total Endorsement. His opponent is a disaster for Texas – weak on Second Amendment, Crime, Borders, Military, and Vets!

3…………> Promise Given, Promise Kept: Trump’

Trump Labor Department Boosts Apprenticeship Push with New Website “Trump’s administration has aggressively promoted apprenticeships as an alternative to higher education, arguing there is a strong demand for skilled workers not currently being met and that they provide good-paying careers without having to incur the debt typically entailed by higher education,”

Sean Higgins reports for Washington Examiner. Yesterday, the Labor Department unveiled a new website to promote such opportunities, apprenticeship.gov—a one-stop resource for Americans looking to pursue one of these programs.

4…………> Stay Away From Magnets: Nano-Robots

Researchers from the Chinese University of Hong Kong developed a new way of controlling nano-robots, making them capable of doing complex tasks in minimally invasive surgeries, allowing controlled morphological changes and splitting.

Swarm behaviors such as bird flocks and fish schools are universal in nature. Through communication, these elements can dramatically change the swarming shapes according to the environments they interact with. Inspired by natural swarming behavior, the team has created an artificial microswarm via the dynamic self-assembly process of millions of magnetic nanoparticles. Through tuning the applied magnetic field, nano-robots can perform several and reversible morphological changes, including extension, shrinkage, splitting, and merging.
