Following the attack on former GRU officer Sergei Skripal and his daughter Julia, the subsequent murder of UK citizen Dawn Sturges and the severe injury of her partner by being exposed to a perfume bottle spiked with the nerve pathogen Novichok, President Putin has issued an executive order to open the previously  ‘closed administrative-territorial formation’ of Shikhany in Saratov Region, about 930 km southeast of Moscow.

The town of about 5,500 was the center of the Soviet R&D center for the USSR’s chemical weapons program,  and now the British media have alleged that the so-called Novichok nerve agent was developed at Shikhany, a charge town Mayor Andrei Tatarinov denied.

“Claims that ‘Novichok’ was manufactured here, in Shikhany, are absurd. We perceive it as a lie, as a hoax,” he said.

FB boss Mark Zuckerberg who has been accused of using advanced programming tools to snoop on his visitors for years, and make billions in profits along the way,  has once again found himself at the center of an even greater scandal, after saying posts from Holocaust deniers should be allowed on Facebook.
In an interview with technology website “Recode”, Mr. Zuckerberg said that he did not believe such people should be removed from the site, despite the fact that many have been censored or removed, leading to some people to jokingly label his tactics as the “Zuckerberg Gestapo”.
They were not, he said, “intentionally” getting their facts wrong, infuriating his critics, causing a backlash and forcing Mr. Zuckerberg to issue a clarification.

Famed financier and philanthropist “Uncle” George Soros has been going through some hard time lately, first having his niece Hillary “I have no recollection of my email server” Clinton losing an election, and miserably, then his other niece Angela, the Chancellor of the Islamic Merkeldom of Germany  hanging on her teeth to keep in office after flooding the country with Middle Eastern AL Nusra Brigade and IS military age punks pretending to be looking for freedom.

In another stroke of bad luck, Mr.Soros, an early backer of his nephew, later our 1st Muslim President, Grand Ayatollah Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential run, described the former president as “his greatest disappointment,” for “closing the door” on him after winning the White House.

“He made one phone call thanking me for my support, which was meant to last for five minutes, and I engaged him, and he had to spend another three minutes with me, so I dragged it out to eight minutes,” Uncle George recounted, later adding Obama had a reputation of taking “his supporters for granted.”

“I’m not thrilled, because we go up and every time you go up, they want to raise rates again. I don’t really,  I am not happy about it. But at the same time, I’m letting them do what they feel is best.” Mr. Trump said about the fact that the US Federal Reserve is pushing interest rates up,  raising eyebrows in the US, as politically correct presidents are expected to avoid criticism of the central bank in deference to its independence. 

But being “politically incorrect” person, Mr. Trump argued that higher rates put the US at a disadvantage and impede faster growth. 

“Now I’m just saying the same thing that I would have said as a private citizen,” he said. 

“So somebody would say, ‘Oh, maybe you shouldn’t say that as president.’ I couldn’t care less what they say, because my views haven’t changed.”

Stocks were down 135 to 25065, DJ futures -87, attempt to stage a covering short rally. 

Gold down to 1220 and USD/CHF down 0.99 due to President Trump setting tariffs on Chinese products. Translation? As the dollar goes down, we have to wait and see if the new Fed Chair Jerome Powell will continue pressuring gold and the Eurasian block with it down below $1000/oz in an economic WW3. Watch sell stop at 24,950. 

We have to wait and see if new Fed chair Powell will attempt to destroy Eurasian block by sending gold prices below 1000, despite the fact both Russia and China have been buying their whole gold production in local gold backed currency instead of money printing machines. In other words, US has lost controls of the precious metals complex, and with Trump’s infrastructure and tax cut campaign the National debt will soon be at, or over 30 trillion dollars, since D.C. swamp alligators have no intention dropping their pet projects.
