Pocatello, Idaho man, identified as Ryan Fitzgerald Dalley, 44, of Soda Springs, was sentenced last week in U.S. District Court to 17 years in federal prison for continuing criminal enterprise and conspiracy to launder money.

Dalley admitted that from September 2013 to October 2017, he acted as an organizer, supervisor or manager over at least five other individuals who conspired to distribute methamphetamine in Idaho and other states.

“When an individual deals in dangerous substances like methamphetamine, they place the entire community at risk,” said Brad Bench, Special Agent in Charge of Homeland Security Investigations, Seattle, WA.

He further admitted that he received substantial income from the sales of methamphetamine and laundered $100,000 in drug proceeds.

Wall Street  suffered its worst trading day of the year, with the Dow Jones index plunging 768 points, as market analysts said Beijing’s latest move was payback against the United States — after President Donald Trump vowed last week to impose 10 per cent tariffs on the remaining $US300 billion of Chinese imports.

This was after China retaliated against the United States in their ongoing trade war — by devaluing the yuan to its lowest level in more than a decade.Adding to the tensions, China’s Commerce Ministry said Chinese companies have stopped buying US agricultural products and that China will not rule out imposing import tariffs on US farm products that were bought after August 3.

The Chinese currency tumbled beyond the key 7-per-US-dollar (7 yuan-per-$1)

After identifying “concrete steps” that China has used to manipulate its currency while maintaining substantial foreign exchange reserves, the US government will engage with the International Monetary Fund to eliminate perceived unfair competition from Beijing, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said in a statement released late Monday.

On Monday, China let the yuan drop below 7 per $1 (8 per €1) Monday for the first time in 11 years, which gives exporters a price edge in world markets and lessens the effect of tariffs imposed by the United States.

 According to the department, the yuan’s steep drop gives China an unfair competitive advantage in international trade.

Gold up to 1478.4 and USD/CHF at 0.98 due to President Trump setting tariffs on Chinese products. Translation? As the dollar goes down, we have to wait and see if the new Fed Chair Jerome Powell will continue pressuring gold and the Eurasian block with it down below $1000/oz in an economic WW3. Cover short stop at 25200 triggered with a gain of 1200 points, long 25150 position sold at 27,000 for a gain of 1850 points. New position short 27,000, cover short 26800, for a gain of 200 points.

We have to wait and see if new Fed chair Powell will attempt to destroy Eurasian block by sending gold prices below 1000, despite the fact both Russia and China have been buying their whole gold production in local gold backed currency instead of money printing machines. In other words, US has lost controls of the precious metals complex, and with Trump’s infrastructure and tax cut campaign the National debt will soon be at, or over 30 trillion dollars, since D.C. swamp alligators have no intention dropping their pet projects.
