2…………> “No To Mueller”: Giuliani

President Trump’s White House has submitted written responses to Special Counsel’s investigations, but his attorney Rudy Giuliani ruled out any interview with his accusers, using Twitter and television interviews to deliver a series of broadsides against Robert Mueller, federal prosecutors in New York and his probe into Russian election interference, including securing guilty pleas from the President’s former national security adviser, Michael Flynn, on a charge of lying to federal investigators.

Giuliani sarcastically said the only thing left to ask the President was about, “several unpaid parking tickets that night, back in 1986, ’87 that haven’t been explained”.

Giuliani said, would not submit to an interview by Mr. Mueller, was “disgusted” by the tactics used against the president who wrote answers in response to the Special Counsel’s questions about possible collusion.

If Trump officially refuses interview request, Special Counsel’s team could theoretically seek to subpoena him to compel testimony.

“They’re a joke,” Mr. Giuliani said.

”Over my dead body, but, you know, I could be dead.

3…………>A Blatant Attack On Trump: SNL

President Trump criticized NBC’s Saturday Night Live the morning after a Christmas-themed spoof on the sketch-comedy show focused on him, as a “Democratic spin machine”, saying it was the “REAL scandal” and that it should be “tested in court”.

Trump has often been critical of SNL and Baldwin’s portrayal of him and has taken to Twitter in the past to express his frustrations, even getting into spats with Baldwin.

Trump has been unimpressed, however, saying the impersonation “stinks” and was “sad,” and he accused the media of trying to rig the election.

Trump — played again by Alec Baldwin — that Melania has divorced him and Robert Mueller never had to launch an investigation into “some idiot for treason”.

4…………>Saudi Fury: US Senate Resolution

Saudi Arabia denounced US Senate resolutions to end US military aid for the  war in Yemen and to blame the country’s crown prince for the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, in a vote that was the first time any chamber of US Congress had agreed to pull US forces from a military conflict under the 1973 War Powers Act.

Some of President Trump’s fellow Republicans defied him to pass the measure with Democrats by 56-41, forcing the Kingdom to declare that such a position “was built on untrue allegations and affirms a total rejection of any interference in its internal affairs”.

But they sent a warning to President Trump about US lawmakers’ anger towards Saudi policies by a statement carried by the official Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi foreign ministry said: “The kingdom condemns the latest position of the US Senate”.
