The central and northern areas of the Islamic Merkeldom have been hit hard by heavy snow and winter storms, disrupting rail and road traffic in large parts of the country, with weather forecasters saying that the snowstorm is set to bring even lower temperatures in the coming week, as several parts of the country were hit by extreme winter weather at the weekend, and the DWD, the German Weather Service, had issued an extreme weather warning, saying emergency crews had been put on standby:

“Extraordinary onset of winter.”

The snowstorm has affected northern central parts of Germany the most, with dense snow drifts, causing limited visibility, leaving behind dozens of injuries and traffic accidents around the country.

I am going to act fast,” he pointed out, as the US economy added just 49,000 jobs in January and the coronavirus pandemic continued to hamper recovery, with losses hit workers at retail stores, restaurants, casinos and hotels, in a sign that analysts said underscored the need for further economic relief, the unemployment rate falling to 6.3%, down 0.4 percentage points from December, as the US remains about 10 million jobs short of where it stood in February 2020, before the pandemic hit.

With one in three EU workers currently based exclusively at home, and the same level in the US, remote working on a vast scale continues to be a major headache for the IT security bosses of companies large and small around the world, with studies showing that many firms are not taking the issue as seriously, as one in five UK home workers has received no training on cyber-security:

“We see tens of different hacking attacks every single week. It is never ending,” one concerned official said.

“And having staff working from home during the lockdowns has just made it worse, as it is much harder to keep an eye on everyone,” with large number of IT decision makers believe that remote workers will expose their firm to the risk of a data breach.
