1…………> Earthquake in Lombok: Casualties

Bibi1581.com reported yesterday that a major earthquake of magnitude 7.0 on the Richter scale has hit Indonesia, and reports coming from the authorities on the ground today indicate that at least 82 people are now known to have died on the Indonesian island of Lombok on Sunday, emergency officials say.

The quake has wounded hundreds of people, and the tremor damaged thousands of buildings and triggered power cuts. On the neighboring island of Bali, video footage showed people running from their homes screaming. It comes a week after another quake hit Lombok, a popular tourist site for its beaches and hiking trails, killing at least 16 people.

2………..> Tariff Pain: Donald Trump MD

After a nasty exchange of tariff threats worth billions of dollars that finally became a reality, unsettling the markets between China and the US, many companies are starting to evaluate the cost increases, and profit fall due to the new “MAGA” world.

The US also started charging levies on the imports of steel and aluminium from the European Union, Mexico, and Canada and now cars and motorbikes manufacturers seem to have been the most affected so far, with three largest automakers recently warning that changes to trade policies are hurting performance, with Ford, Fiat Chrysler and General Motors lowering profit forecasts for 2018, citing higher steel and aluminum prices caused by new US tariffs.

3…………> CNN Reporters Threatened: The Price Of Arrogance

“It all started when Trump got elected. [Stelter and Lemon] don’t even know us. They don’t even know these Americans out here, and they’re calling us racist because we voted for Trump. They started the war. If I see them, I’m going to shoot them. Bye,” an enraged caller identified as “Don from State College, Pennsylvania,” had phoned into a CNN show to express support for Trump’s criticism of the media.

President’s anti-media rhetoric has drawn concern from lawmakers and journalists in newsrooms nationwide, yet the “Deep State” media has not halted the endless attacks on Mr.Trump and his supporters, labelling them as “trash people”, the “deplorable” and more.

4…………> Patriots vs Antifa: Portland

When crowds of proto-fascists who came to the town Portland, Oregon and did not hide their intentions to use riot control weapons, flash-bang grenades and chemical irritants against anti-fascist counter-protesters aka Antifa punks, dozens of police officers in full riot gear stood across a closed section of Naito Parkway along the Willamette River, keeping the two sides apart.

Hundreds of members of the “Proud Boys”, a far-right group of self-described “Western chauvinists” dressed in helmets and body armour, joined “Patriot Prayer” and its leader Joey Gibson, with both groups accused of having deep ties to white supremacists, stood against hundreds of counter-protesters belonging to a broad coalition of local anti-fascist, anti-racist and social justice groups.

5…………> My Car, My Only Home: Disguised US Homelessness

The number of Americans living in their vehicles due to the jump in the price of housing is sharply on the rise, even though the practice remains illegal in many US states, with the number of people living in campers and vehicles increased an astonishing 46%  over the last year alone.

The rise in people living in their cars is especially pertinent in cities with expensive housing markets, such as Los Angeles, Portland, and San Francisco, according to Sara Rankin, an assistant professor of law at Seattle University and the director of Homeless Rights Advocacy Project.
