President Trump apparently discussed the idea of forming a third political party, being disappointed with Rhino Republicans who did not back his claims of election fraud, but now he has stated of not planning to form his own political party, saying that he “has made clear his goal is to win back the House and Senate for Republicans in 2022”:
“There’s nothing that’s actively being planned regarding an effort outside of that, but it’s completely up to Republican Senators if this is something that becomes more serious,” his office said.
Media reports on social media claimed, citing people familiar with his thinking, that Trump was “talked out” of his alleged plans, and was persuaded by his aides that diverting efforts both to a third party and primaries “makes no sense”.

The Israeli Diaspora Affairs Ministry says that anti-Semitic attacks are likely to surge globally in 2021 amid the coronavirus pandemic, and hence the uptick in hate crimes could be tied to the spread of conspiracy theories claiming Jews were “responsible” for the COVID-19 outbreak, and will likely continue even after the coronavirus pandemic is over, all this in an annual report of the ministry that said that “the rising rates of anti-Semitic sentiment are expected to lead to a significant increase in violence against Jews and Jewish sites in 2021. This is expected to challenge communities around the world, especially the American Jewish community.”
Diaspora Affairs Minister Omer Yankelevich provided an explanation for it, saying that “Throughout history, the Jewish people have served as an easy scapegoat for the world’s illnesses. Anti-Semitic sentiment has unfortunately been on display during the current pandemic.”
