1…………> Oil Snap: Iran Deal Collapse
Oil prices surged after President Donald Trump announced he was pulling the United States out of the Iran nuclear agreement, with the price of Brent crude oil surged 3.15 percent to close at $77.21 a barrel on the Intercontinental Exchange Futures Europe. Brent is now trading at its highest price since late 2014.
Oxford Economics pointed out that Iran’s oil production has grown around 1 million barrels per day to 3.8 million barrels per day since U.S. sanctions were lifted last year, with Iran being the fifth in the world in terms of oil output, and new sanctions could reduce global oil production significantly.
“For the U.S. economy, a prolonged rise in oil prices could reverse part of the benefits from the fiscal stimulus,” the company predicted.
2…………> Welcome To Chocolate Street: Poland
A truck crash in Poland left a highway covered in 12 tonnes of liquid chocolate, blocking traffic in both directions as a tanker overturned in the early hours of the morning following a collision with a traffic barrier in Graboszewo, coating Poland’s A2 motorway between Wrzesnia and Slupca.
Rescue officials said the liquid chocolate was solidifying as it cooled and would require large amounts of hot water to clear away.
“The cooling chocolate is worse than snow,” said Slupca fire brigade senior brigadier Bogdan Kowalski.
3…………> Breaking: Attack On Syria
“Launches of about 20 missiles were registered at around midnight toward the frontier positions in the Golan Heights by Iran’s al-Quds forces,” an Israeli army spokesman told reporters. “Several bases were targeted,” the spokesman said, adding that some rockets were intercepted as emergency sirens sounded in the Golan Heights and Israeli jets fired a barrage of rockets into Syria, hitting several military bases.
Reports of Israeli shelling destroying a Syrian radar site and rockets hitting several military sites circulated the Syrian state media as a report earlier that Syrian city of Homs came under heavy fire, and one of the missiles struck an ammunition warehouse.
