A Northeast Texas businessman, his wife and son, identified as Larry Earnest Tillery (father), 69, Judy Kay Tillery (mother), 62, and Brian Tillery (son), 46, all from Beaumont, Texas, pleaded guilty  to tax evasion and money laundering gambling proceeds from one of the largest illegal gambling operations in the United States.

This investigation is being conducted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), and IRS’s Criminal Investigation Division.

Larry Tillery pleaded guilty to engaging in monetary transactions in property derived from specified unlawful activity and tax evasion.  Judy Tillery pleaded guilty to structuring financial transactions to evade reporting requirements.  Brian Tillery pleaded guilty to engaging in monetary transactions in property derived from specified unlawful activity.

Merrill Lynch Commodities Inc. (MLCI), a global commodities trading business, has agreed to pay $25 million to resolve the government’s investigation into a multi-year scheme by MLCI precious metals traders to mislead the market for precious metals futures contracts traded on the Commodity Exchange Inc. (COMEX), announced Assistant Attorney General Brian A. Benczkowski of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division and Assistant Director in Charge William F. Sweeney Jr. of the FBI’s New York Field Office.

According to MLCI’s admissions, beginning by at least 2008 and continuing through 2014, precious metals traders employed by MLCI schemed to deceive other market participants by injecting materially false and misleading information into the precious metals futures market.  They did so by placing fraudulent orders for precious metals futures contracts that, at the time the traders placed the orders, they intended to cancel before execution.  In doing so, the traders intended to “spoof” or manipulate the market by creating the false impression of increased supply or demand and, in turn, to fraudulently induce other market participants to buy and to sell futures contracts at quantities, prices and times that they otherwise likely would not have done so.  Over the relevant period, the traders placed thousands of fraudulent orders.

4…………> Mt.Ulawun Volcano Explodes: Thousand Flee To Safety

More than 5,000 people fleed their homes after a volcano erupted in a remote part of Papua New Guinea’s West New Britain,  as lava has cut the New Britain Highway at three locations, and flights into the local Hoskins Airport have been cancelled due to the ash plume.

Satellite imagery shows the eruption plume reaching heights of between 8 and 10 miles, and social media accounts showed people evacuating their homes, as a large column of black smoke and red lava spewed from the crater of Mount Ulawun, known to be one of the most hazardous volcanos in the world.

Stocks down 11 to 26537, DJ futures +42, rally leveled off following President Trump statement that he may “obliterate” Iran should  it attacks anything American.

Gold down 11 to 1408.4 and USD/CHF at 0.98 due to President Trump setting tariffs on Chinese products. Translation? As the dollar goes down, we have to wait and see if the new Fed Chair Jerome Powell will continue pressuring gold and the Eurasian block with it down below $1000/oz in an economic WW3. Cover short stop at 25200 triggered with a gain of 1200 points, new position long 25150, sell stop 26400 for a gain of 1250 points.

We have to wait and see if new Fed chair Powell will attempt to destroy Eurasian block by sending gold prices below 1000, despite the fact both Russia and China have been buying their whole gold production in local gold backed currency instead of money printing machines. In other words, US has lost controls of the precious metals complex, and with Trump’s infrastructure and tax cut campaign the National debt will soon be at, or over 30 trillion dollars, since D.C. swamp alligators have no intention dropping their pet projects.
