2…………> Failed Terror Attack: Maryland

An American man named Rondell Henry, who was inspired by the 2016 Nice terror attack, is now accused of seeking to create “panic and chaos” just like “what happened in France” by plotting to drive a stolen truck into pedestrians at a busy shopping complex.

Mr. Henry abandoned his first target because there were not enough people, as the police said the man was willing to “walk down the extremist path”, with the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland charging 28-year-old Rondell Henry with transportation of a stolen vehicle across state lines, alleging he intended to use it to launch an attack.

3…………> Trump vs 9th Circuit Court: An Immigration Ruling

President Trump slammed a judge for blocking his policy of sending asylum seekers to Mexico to await court hearings in their cases.

“A 9th Circuit judge just ruled that Mexico is too dangerous for migrants,” he tweeted. “So unfair to the US.”

His policy would have returned migrant families back over the border as they seek a legal right to stay in the US, but the legal defeat comes as migrant numbers at the US-Mexico border surged to their highest since 2008.

Mr. Trump was said to be livid after US immigration officials estimated border apprehensions in March had topped 100,000.

The San Francisco ninth district judge’s order against the migrant policy is not due to go into effect until this Friday, giving US officials a chance to appeal.

5…………> Trump’s EU Tariffs Threat: Winners &  Mostly Losers

US Trade Representative released a preliminary 14 pages list of EU goods to be taxed under President Trump confirmed threat to levy the European Union with $11 billion-worth of tariffs due to the bloc’s alleged subsidies to aerospace giant Airbus, with the biggest items on the list include helicopters, airplanes, undercarriages and fuselages, with the caveat that they are “not for use by the Department of Defense or the US Coast Guard.”

Other manufactured personal items include paper products, textiles, carpets, outerwear and knit sweaters, building materials, metal products, lenses for cameras, binoculars, telescopic sights, and several categories of wall clocks and personal time pieces.

The European aircraft Airbus maker said there was no “legal basis” for the US’ tariff plans, and warned that the bloc would consider “even greater countermeasures.”

2…………> “Tio Trump” To Mexico: Stop Illegals Or No More Burritos

The announcement by President Trump did not come as a surprise last week when he slammed the NARCO state of Mexico, accusing it of a lack of action (or unwillingness) in the forceful solution the migration issue, vowing that if Mexico would not stop migrant caravans from coming to America, he could close all trade with the country’s southern neighbor.

President Trump took to Twitter to speak about relations with Washington’s southern neighbor after the reports about new migrant caravans heading to US border:

Mexico, for the first time in decades, is meaningfully apprehending illegals at THEIR Southern Border, before the long march up to the U.S. This is great and the way it should be. The big flow will stop…,” he tweeted.

However, if for any reason Mexico stops apprehending and bringing the illegals back to where they came from, the U.S. will be forced to Tariff at 25% all cars made in Mexico and shipped over the Border to us. If that doesn’t work, which it will, I will close the Border,” he said.

3…………> Honduran Drug Cartel Capo: Retired In US Prison

The former leader of a large-scale Honduran drug trafficking organization, identified as Noe Montes-Bobadilla, 35, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Liam O’Grady for the Eastern District of Virginia to 37 years in prison for trafficking thousands of kilograms of cocaine bound for the United States.

According to court documents, Montes-Bobadilla, was the leader of the Montes-Bobadilla drug-trafficking cartel, or “Los Montes,” one of the largest in Honduras, that  dominated the drug-trafficking activity in the area of Francia, Honduras, in the Department of Colón.

At that location and in the neighboring La Mosquitia region, Montes-Bobadilla’s organization and associates received shipments of cocaine sent via boats, clandestine aircraft, and even submarines by Colombian suppliers.  Each shipment generally carried hundreds of, if not more than a thousand, kilograms of cocaine.  Montes-Bobadilla worked closely with other drug-trafficking organizations, such as Los Valles and Los Cachiros, to import the cocaine in Honduras and transport it north through Central America and Mexico to its ultimate destination, the United States.  To protect his cocaine-trafficking operations, Montes-Bobadilla bribed law enforcement officers and officials, and engaged in numerous acts of violence, including murder. Through these efforts, Montes-Bobadilla and his organization distributed thousands of kilograms of cocaine destined for the United States.

4…………> Mr.Xi 5h Column: Belt & Road Initiative

As the brain-dead members of the “Impeach 45” Congress members, led by Comrades Waters, Nadler, Schiff, AOC, Tlaib, Omar, Fake News & Co rush ahead with new investigations to remove a democratically elected president, completely and criminally ignoring the findings of Special Prosecutor Mr.Mueller’s report, the very cunning Mr.Xi launched a new railway line for freight trains between Luxembourg and the city of Chengdu in China, with the first train loaded with 41 containers on its way to China.

The 40-foot containers were filled with mechanical and electrical products, food and medical equipment as well as other imports from around Europe. The train is expected to reach the international railway station of Qingbaijiang in Chengdu in 15 days after passing through Germany, Poland, Belarus, Russia, and Kazakhstan.

Freight trains are expected to travel the new route at least weekly once it is fully operational, representing the growing trading links and connectivity between China and Europe under the “Belt and Road” initiative.

5…………> Mexico Shivers: Alternative Routes Up North

Mexico is exploring alternate trade routes in the wake of President Trump’s threats of closing the U.S.-Mexico border to stop illegal immigration, according to Graciela Marquez, Mexico’s economy minister, who said officials are looking into the possibility of shipping goods north by sea if the U.S. seals its southern border, due to 70 %  of Mexico’s total trade traveling by land.

Mexico’s government is already adopting measures to cope with the U.S. government’s decision to scale back administrative personnel at some border crossings, which has slowed cross-border trade.

“I wouldn’t call it trade restrictions, but rather administrative decisions that translate into trade restrictions. But we would have to wait for the definitive closure as a measure of obstructing trade,” she said.

Marquez did not rule out the possibility of turning to the WTO in the event of a border closure, but admitted that it was all “speculation” for the moment.

The Fake News Media is working overtime to blame me for the horrible attack in New Zealand. They will have to work very hard to prove that one. So Ridiculous!

2…………> Limits Student Loan Borrowing: $1 Trillion+

“The White House is urging Congress to set new limits on student loan borrowing by graduate students and parents, as part of a larger package spelling out the Trump administration’s priorities for higher education legislation,” Emily Wilkins reports for Bloomberg Government.

“We need to modernize our higher education system to make it more affordable, flexible, and outcomes oriented so all Americans, young and old, can learn the skills they need to secure and retain good paying jobs,” Advisor to the President Ivanka Trump said in statement.(White House)

3…………> Small Town MD vs Billionaire SP500 Monster: Humility vs Arrogance

The billionaires supporters and the owners of “Fake News” networks, all controlled by the Council of the Foreign Relations, the true, invisible and illegal government of USA have been criminally and morally dishonest in their attacks on President Trump’s agenda, especially the opioid epidemic that had turned whole regions of Appalachia and other parts of inner America into war zones of the Obama’s silent drug war.

But Americans are good, and a humble small town MD named Dr. Art Van Zee was there at the beginning of America’s 20-year-old opioid crisis, when in the late 1990s, he noticed his small town of St. Charles in Lee County, rural Virginia, falling apart, as healthy young people accompanied by concerned parents and grandparents started reporting addiction to a powerful new prescription painkiller, OxyContin.

St. Charles is a community built on coal, and would be the unfortunate canary in the mine warning of hundreds of thousands of deaths in the opioid crisis that would follow, and now the town’s humble community medical centre has become an unlikely rallying point for an enormous class action against Purdue Pharmaceutical, OxyContin’s manufacturer.

4…………> Applied Global Warming: US MidWest Historic Floods

A hurricane-like weather phenomenon that scientists call a “bomb cyclone” hit the western Rocky Mountains and US Central Plains last week, showering snow and freezing rains on millions of Americans in Iowa, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Minnesota and South Dakota

Fremont County Emergency Management Director Mike Crecelius told the Associated Press that it was not just the amount of water breaching levees and riverbanks, but also the swiftness of it that has been creating a dangerous hazard.

In a statement, Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers explained that “warm temperatures and rain the last few days have caused much of the heavy snowpack and ice to melt resulting in flooding, ice jams, and rivers and creeks to rise“.

Aleido Rojas Galan, 52, was swept away in a vehicle in south-western Iowa on Friday while 50-year-old James Wilke was killed in Nebraska when a bridge collapsed as he tried to help motorists.

On Sunday, police in Platte County, Nebraska, confirmed 80-year-old Betty Hamernik died after emergency crews were unable to reach her home in the rapid floodwaters.

5…………> Honoring Master Chief William Charette: Naming DDG 130

Secretary of the Navy Richard V. Spencer has named a future Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer, DDG 130, in honor of Medal of Honor recipient, Hospital Corpsman Master Chief William Charette.

Charette, a native of Ludington, Michigan, joined the Navy in 1951 and served in the Korean War in the Fleet Marine Force (FMF) as a hospital corpsman attached to Company F, Third Platoon, 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division.

“The actions of Hospital Corpsman William Charette will neither be forgotten or diminished,” Spencer said.

“Charette put himself at extreme risk during intense combat to render aid to Marines in need. His efforts saved lives and I am honored that his legacy will live on in the future USS William Charette (DDG 130).”

Charette was presented the Medal of Honor for his actions on March 27, 1953, when Chinese soldiers in North Korea attacked and overran two of three Marine hill outposts. During a counterattack, an enemy grenade landed near Charette who was providing aid to a wounded Marine. Charette placed himself on top of the Marine to shield him from the explosion. The blast rendered Charette unconscious but when he awoke he continued to aid Marines, including using torn parts of his uniform in order to dress battle wounds, his own battle vest to shield a wounded Marine, and exposing himself to incoming rounds in order to carry wounded Marines to safety.

Arleigh-Burke class destroyers conduct a variety of operations from peacetime presence and crisis response to sea control and power projection.

The ship will be constructed at Bath Iron Works, a division of General Dynamics in Bath, Maine. The ship will be 509 feet long, have a beam length of 59 feet and be capable of operating at speeds in excess of 30 knots.
