US 6th Fleet Commander Lisa Franchetti announced that an American landing ship had been sent to the Black Sea region to increase security, and to reassure allies of US commitment with NATO, following a report that Russian patrol ship Pytlivy has been monitoring the USS Fort McHenry’s activities.
