Three men were taken into custody after members of the public alerted authorities over one weekend, and in all three cases, searches found firearms and extensive amounts of ammunition, as US recovers from recent deadly shootings that killed over 20 people.
A Connecticut man, identified as Brandon Wagshol, 22, was arrested after a public informant tipped police that the man was trying to buy large-capacity rifle magazine from out of state.
A Florida man, identified as Tristan Scott Wix, 25, was arrested after his ex-girlfriend tipped off police about messages he sent.
In Ohio, 20-year-old James Patrick Reardon was arrested after allegedly threatening a Jewish organization via social media, for sending messages, that explained that he wanted to die and “have fun doing it.”
“A good 100 kills would be nice,” one message said.
Reardon posted a video of a man firing a gun and tagging the Jewish Community Center of Youngstown.

The two galaxies provide an example of what awaits our own galaxy in the distant future, with the collision will result in the creation of a new galaxy and will take another several tens of billions of years. The stellar object, labeled UGC 2369, is actually two galaxies moving towards each other, and while the galactic cores are far apart, the galaxies have already connected with a bridge of gas, dust and stars, as their mutual gravitational pull rips matter from each other.
It’s actually two galaxies interacting, being pulled closer together by their gravitational attraction, in a similar process that will see our galaxy, the Milky Way, collide with the Andromeda galaxy.
Astronomers explain that something like this will happen to our own galaxy, the Milky Way, which is set on a collision course with the Andromeda Galaxy. Scientists say the collision will occur in approximately 4.5 billion years.
