2…………> China-Designed AG600 Amphibious Aircraft: Successful Maiden Flight

QINGDAO, July 26 (Xinhua) — China’s domestically designed and developed AG600 large amphibious aircraft succeeded in its maiden flight over sea on Sunday morning in Qingdao, east China’s Shandong Province, after taking off at 10:18 a.m. and completing the test flight after flying for about 31 minutes, said state-owned plane-maker Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC).

The successful maiden flight from the sea is a major step forward in the development of this large amphibious aircraft following its maiden flight in 2017 and first takeoff from a water reservoir in 2018, said the AVIC.

3…………> Road To Freedom: Syrians Achieve Self-Sufficiency Farming On Rooftops

SWEIDA, Syria, July 26 (Xinhua) — Trailing his hands over their soft green tips, Ziad Thabet looks with pride at the vegetables he planted on his rooftop as part of his efforts to achieve self-sufficiency amid soaring prices in the markets:

“The salary of retirees is limited, and given the crisis and the economic hardship, we needed to search for new means to feed ourselves and our children. I started planting the roof here to achieve self-sufficiency in addition to my pension. Planting has become a necessity these days in any country; it’s called self-sufficiency or food security. Whoever eats from his effort and his land will never need anyone else,” he said.

Like most Syrians, the retired man has felt the economic hardships the country is going through, which affected the livelihoods of Syrians, particularly with the new sanctions imposed on the country by the United States.

But Mr. Thabet’s will didn’t collapse under the pressure of the economic crisis that has been accelerating since last year, but instead, he came up with the idea of using his rooftop to plant vegetables in plastic boxes, and then planted seeds of various vegetables and fruits in the boxes such as tomato, cucumber, eggplants, watermelon, among others.

4…………..> Portland Protests Different from ‘Normal Criminal Activity’, Like in Chicago, DHS Secretary Says

President Trump had no choice but to send help to maintain law and order in the city of Portland, as it has been engulfed in one of the most violent and despicable anti-racism protests in the United States in years, forcing Department of Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf to loudly criticize city’s communist leadership for its handling of the protests, alleging that they have been far from peaceful, the riots and mayhem leading to criminal actions that are very different from “normal criminal activity,” like in Chicago, Kansas City, and others:

“They’re coming armed with rocks, bottles, baseball bats, power tools, commercial grade fireworks, eliciting that violence and targeting their violence on federal courthouses and federal law enforcement officers”, Wolf said, as for several days, DHS officers have been trying to prevent protesters from attacking a downtown federal courthouse, which has been the main target of the attacks.

He blamed the city authorities for letting the situation get out of control and called on them to follow the example of other cities, and cooperate with federal agents as they work to tackle the violence in Portland:

“We see city leadership there has fostered an environment that allows these criminals to do this throughout the night, untouched, absolutely untouched”, Wolf said.

“We need Portland to step up to the plate, do their responsibility and work with us to address violent criminal activity occurring every night.”

5………….> US Civil Rights Icon’s John Lewis Body Crosses Selma Bridge A Final Time

The body of the late US civil rights icon John Lewis has been carried over Selma’s historic Edmund Pettus Bridge for a final time, in remembrance of the 7th of March 1965, known as “Bloody Sunday”, where Lewis and other peaceful protesters were attacked by Alabama police officers as they marched over the bridge, on their planned walk to state capital Montgomery to demand equal voting rights.

Lewis, who died aged 80 on 17 July, will be laid to rest in a private ceremony in Atlanta on Thursday.

2…………> Flash Floods: California Fire Country

“The roots and the bottoms of the utility poles are just kinds of swimming. It rained hard in a short amount of time, and this whole thing came up quickly,” that is how Rick Carhart, a spokesman with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, commented on reports of flash flooding in areas that were not burned.

Flash flooding has hit a wildfire-scarred area of Northern California, with water rescue teams deployed to help people stranded in vehicles, as downpours hit Paradise; a city devastated in recent fires.

A reported 125 millimeters of rain fell in some areas in an hour, and authorities received reports of downed trees and power lines, followed by the Butte County Sheriff’s Department is ordering evacuations.

People were being taken to a church in Chico after a downpour in the Paradise area.

3…………> Digital Divide: A Free Internet

A plan code-named the “LinkSure Swarm Constellation System” envisions 272 satellites set at different orbits and heights in order to span the entire globe, with a Chinese internet technology company announcing its intention to provide free satellite internet worldwide by 2026, joining companies like SpaceX, Facebook and Google in the mission to run a global internet service.

LinkSure will use 272 satellites at different orbits and heights to provide the service Facebook, SpaceX, and Google all have plans to offer global services with satellites Beijing has been attempting to increase global connectivity as part of its ‘Digital Silk Road.’

Shanghai-based company LinkSure Network, which says its mission is to bridge the world’s digital inequalities, unveiled on Tuesday the first satellite in their ambitious plan to ensure that everyone in the world can access the internet free of charge.

4…………> Trade Wars: A Respite Or A Disaster?

“I don’t know if I want to do it” and “I like the deal we have now,” President Trump told reporters at the White House that while China was interested in striking a deal, the stage could now be set for a possible escalation of the trade war between the two nations.

The high stakes “tariffs poker game” in this week’s G20 summit is in full view of a breathless world, where President Trump is due to meet China’s President Xi Jinping, with markets holding hopes that the meeting could open the way for recent threats by the US president have undermined a deal over trade between the two countries.

Only days before the summit in Argentina, President Trump said current tariff levels on $200 bn of Chinese imports would rise as planned, and also threatened tariffs on $267 bn of other Chinese exports to the US.

Gold up to 1224.5 and USD/CHF at 1.00 due to President Trump setting tariffs on Chinese products. Translation? As the dollar goes down, we have to wait and see if the new Fed Chair Jerome Powell will continue pressuring gold and the Eurasian block with it down below $1000/oz in an economic WW3. Watch sell stop at 25000.
We have to wait and see if new Fed chair Powell will attempt to destroy Eurasian block by sending gold prices below 1000, despite the fact both Russia and China have been buying their whole gold production in local gold backed currency instead of money printing machines. In other words, US has lost controls of the precious metals complex, and with Trump’s infrastructure and tax cut campaign the National debt will soon be at, or over 30 trillion dollars, since D.C. swamp alligators have no intention dropping their pet projects. Read “Ziban Must Die” for more details on the coming collision of Trump’s administration with “Deep State” operators funded by the billionaires’ supporters of the New World Disorder.

1…………> San Francisco: In A Cloud Of Smoke

Sara Broyles@s_broyles

Skies/fog were orange and hazy from the #CountyFire this morning. Almost zero visibility of the bridge. Hoping everyone is evacuating safely.

2:42 PM – Jul 1, 2018 · San Francisco, CA

112 people are talking about this

The nocturnal Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco is under a cloud of smoke, and the skies above the city had a ghastly golden glow from out-of-control fires spreading across California, as one blaze that ignited in western Yolo County spread over the weekend to neighbouring Napa County.

The fast-marching fire has scorched at least 142-square kilometres of dry brush and threatened more than 100 buildings in ranch land northwest of Sacramento.

2…………> MX to The US, Back To MX: Route Of Death

The deadly cartel’s trade is killing Mexicans and Americans, as the BBC spoke to an American drug smuggler who hauled narcotics into the US from Mexico. But what he returned across the border with was potentially even more deadly.

3…………> ICE Raid On Ohio: “Zero Tolerance”

As some 200 armed ICE agents, backed by helicopters and canine units, descended on a small Ohio town carrying out a surprise immigration raid by gathering all workers in one large room, telling American citizens to go to one side and the undocumented migrants to the other.
There, 114 undocumented workers were arrested, 50 of whom lived in a trailer park nearby, stunned witnesses of President Donald Trump’s hardline immigration policy, workplace raids that would spread fear in small US towns hundreds of miles away and have a profound impact on their communities.

4…………> Roots Of Culture: “Fab Five”?

Many years ago people of wisdom have said that if no one is praising us, why not we praise ourselves? This story if a bookcase of this adage, as an elegant and witty associate of U.S. News and World Report, has rated the five most culturally influential countries in the world, the coveted “Give me <five> babe”; i.e. US, Italy, France, UK and Spain, two of which are currently Islamic Sheikdoms, namely France and UK, two that are trying to escape the clutches of EU blatant Islamization, and lastly the US, the only country that had the guts to elect a president who turned his back on the globalist, multi-cultural mania of the last ten years.

Despite those unflattering remarks, [the lagging] global influence is often measured by the military, political or economic might, but for some countries, it’s the strength of the culture – its food, fashion or entertainment – that most strongly impact the wider world. So read on, and vote your picks!

5…………> Down With ICE: LA Protests

Waving postcards such as “Reunite families now, Stop abusing children”, “Abolish ICE,” and “Down With Trump”, dozens of people protested at the entrance of the Metropolitan Detention Center against the federal immigration policy of separating families detained illegally crossing the U.S. border.

Police began arresting people for unlawful assembly around 11 a.m. local time,

rounding up seventeen protesters outside the ICE building downtown Los Angeles, and there was no clash between the demonstrators and policemen.

1…………> Stars At Sea: Memories

The celebrated Cunard cruise line was the first to introduce onboard photographers in the 1920s, as ships’ photographers would take snapshots of the passengers, creating prints in the darkroom that were then displayed on long tables the next morning. Travellers were able to put their orders in, and the photographs were then printed in Southampton and posted around the world.

By 1936, when Cunard’s flagship the Queen Mary was launched, the firm employed a fleet of photographers working all night to supply the demand.

2…………> Encrypted Drug Dealing: Canada

Vincent Ramos, the chief executive of Canada-based Phantom Secure, and four of his associates were indicted by a federal grand jury today on charges that they knowingly and intentionally participated in a criminal enterprise that facilitated the transnational importation and distribution of narcotics through the sale and service of encrypted communications.

This is the first time the U.S. government has targeted a company and its principals for knowingly and intentionally conspiring with criminal organizations by providing them with the technological tools to evade law enforcement and obstruct justice while committing transnational drug trafficking.

“With one American dying of a drug overdose every nine minutes, our great nation is suffering the deadliest drug epidemic in our history,” said Attorney General Jeff Sessions. “Incredibly, some have sought to profit off of this crisis, including by specifically taking advantage of encryption technologies to further criminal activity, and to obstruct, impede, and evade law enforcement, as this case illustrates. The Department of Justice will aggressively prosecute not just drug traffickers, but those who help them spread addiction and death in our communities. I want to thank the FBI, DEA, Customs and Border Protection, Homeland Security Investigations, Washington State Police, the Bellingham and Blaine Police Departments, and all of our law enforcement partners around the world, including Australia, Canada, Panama, Hong Kong, and Thailand for their hard work on this case. Today’s indictment sends a clear message that drug traffickers and criminals cannot hide because we will hunt them down and find them wherever they are.”

3…………> Shoddy Vests: Japan

Toyobo Co. Ltd. of Japan and its American subsidiary, Toyobo U.S.A. Inc., f/k/a Toyobo America Inc. (collectively, Toyobo), have agreed to pay $66 million to resolve claims under the False Claims Act that they sold defective Zylon fiber used in bullet proof vests that the United States purchased for federal, state, local, and tribal law enforcement agencies, the Justice Department announced today, being fully aware that Zylon degraded quickly in normal heat and humidity, and that this degradation rendered bullet proof vests containing Zylon unfit for use.

“Bulletproof vests are sometimes what stands between a police officer and death,” said Attorney General Jeff Sessions. “Selling material for these vests that one knows to be defective is dishonest and risks the lives of the men and women who serve to protect us. The Department of Justice is committed to the protection of our law enforcement officers, and today’s resolution sends another clear message that we will not tolerate those who put our first responders in harm’s way.”

4…………> Sharia Country: Indonesia

Amnesty International urged Indonesia to block moves to introduce beheading as a punishment for murder in the country’s conservative Aceh province, by not following countries like Saudi Arabia using it as an effective deterrent.

In addition, it suggested that Indonesia stop drafting laws to criminalise gay sex, sex between unmarried couples.

“Beheading is more in line with Islamic law and will cause a deterrent effect … a strict punishment is made to save human beings,” Syukri M. Yusuf, the head of Aceh’s Shariah Law and Human Rights Office, said on Wednesday.

“We will begin to draft the law when our academic research is completed.”

5…………> Faulty Design: Florida

Six people are now confirmed dead, and more than 10 seriously injured after the newly built 950-tonne bridge crushed vehicles on one of the busiest roads in South Florida.

“Unfortunately, this has turned from a rescue to a recovery operation,” a Miami-Dade police said.

The number of those killed could rise since more vehicles could still be under the concrete and twisted metal, and rescue workers are combing through the rubble of a pedestrian bridge that collapsed onto several lanes of traffic at Florida International University.
