Protesters in Hong Kong vandalized a subway station, set up a flaming barricade across a wide street, and trampled a Chinese flag, as pro-democracy demonstrations took a violent turn once again, with the day’s action began peacefully, as protesters filled a shopping mall and, in a new twist, folded paper origami cranes that they tied onto a large rigging that they assembled in the mall in the Shatin district.

Some put a Chinese flag on the floor and took turns running over it, before defacing it and putting it in a dumpster outside, which they then pushed into a nearby river, with one group later attacking the Shatin subway station, which is connected to the mall.

They smashed overhead surveillance cameras, using hammers to knock ticket sensors off gates and spray-painted and broke the screens of ticket machines, using umbrellas to shield their identities, until riot police arrived following the attack and guarded the station after it was closed, with a metal grill pulled down to block entry.

Protesters then built a barricade across a street near the mall, piled what appeared to be brown palm fronds on top and set them on fire.

The New York congresswoman tweeted on Sunday: “At this point, the bigger national scandal isn’t the president’s lawbreaking behavior – it is the Democratic Party’s refusal to impeach him for it.”

Hey, what happened to the AOC squad, aka the “Islamo- Fascist girls”, hailing from Detroit, the West Bank, Rashida, “We ought to get rid of the mother  f….r” Tlaib, and from Minneapolis, Ethiopia,  Ilhan, “Some people did something in NY” Omar(something like killing 3000 thousand civilians and causing 4 trillion economic damage to the US)?

A North Texas man identified as Michael Kyle Sewell, 18, was arrested in February, and pleaded guilty to the conspiracy charge during sentencing, when the United States introduced evidence that his offense was consistent with a long pattern of online statements supporting violent extremism.

“Sewell conspired with another individual to provide material support to LeT and assisted his coconspirator with his plans to travel overseas to join the terrorist organization,” said  John C. Demers of National Security.

“The National Security Division is committed to identifying and holding accountable those who conspire to provide material support to foreign terrorist organizations.”

During a search of Sewell’s home after his arrest, agents found an AR-15 style rifle, multiple magazines, and a number of knives in Sewell’s bedroom, and he had posted numerous messages threatening to attack individuals and gatherings of people who he believed were opponents of his radical beliefs.

Chinese social media over the weekend posted photos, revealing an array of supersonic, stealth weapons and equipment rolling into central Beijing for a rehearsal ahead of a parade to mark the 70th anniversary of the nation’s founding.

The 24-hour rehearsal ended on Monday morning, and observers on social media said the “biggest surprise so far” was what looked like a new drone — the latest example of flashy military equipment being developed and showcased by Beijing.

Experts believe that an aircraft pictured on the back of a truck at the rehearsal was an unassembled supersonic DR-8 — or Wuzhen-8 in Chinese — which has never been seen in public before/,and the description of the drone by state media China Aviation News when it was first tested in 2015 matched the photo from the rehearsal, adding the performance and shape of the aircraft was similar to the US Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird surveillance plane.

It can fly at Mach 3.5 or 2800 miles per hour, according to commentator named Shi Lao, who said the DR-8 was capable of traveling as far as the Western Pacific, including Guam.

The Department announced today the arrest of Zhongsan Liu, who was charged by complaint for his involvement in a conspiracy to fraudulently obtain U.S. visas for Chinese government employees.  Liu was arrested today in Fort Lee, New Jersey, and presented this afternoon in Manhattan federal court before the U.S. Magistrate Judge Ona T. WaFrom approximately 2017, up to and including September 2019, Liu participated in a conspiracy to fraudulently procure U.S. visas for employees of the government of the People’s Republic of China (PRC Government).

Liu worked with others, including other PRC Government employees in the United States, to fraudulently procure J-1 Research Scholar visas for a CAIEP-NY employee (CC-1) and a prospective CAIEP-NY employee (the CAIEP-NY Hire).

The maximum potential sentence in this case is prescribed by Congress and is provided here for informational purposes only, as any sentencing of the defendant will be determined by the judge.

US defense contractor Raytheon recently announced its Peregrine air-to-air missile project, which is expected to provide interested buyers with a powerful projectile at half the size of missiles being used by militaries presently.

Mark Noyes, vice president of business development and strategy for Raytheon Missile Systems, told the outlet that the missile uses a “multimode autonomous seeker” to pinpoint on a target.

“Peregrine will allow US and allied fighter pilots to carry more missiles into battle to maintain air dominance,” Thomas Bussing, vice president of Raytheon Advanced Missile Systems,” he said in a statement.

With its advanced sensor, guidance and propulsion systems packed into a much smaller airframe, this new weapon represents a significant leap forward in air-to-air missile development.
