Initially, US House Speaker Speaker Nancy, “Anyone caught urinating in front of my mansion will be deported to Arizona” Pelosi appeared to extend an olive branch at President Trump:

“Democrats will never stop extending the hand of friendship to get the job done #ForThePeople. We will work to find common ground where we can, but will stand our ground where we cannot”.

Mr. Trump snubbed Ms. Pelosi’s handshake before he began his address, and the White House released the following statement after she tore it up the draft copy of his SOTU address:

President Trump hailed the  ‘American comeback’ in Congress speech, as Republicans chanted “four more years”, with  the president hopes a strong economy will win him re-election, a day on the eve of his expected acquittal in his impeachment trial.

At his annual State of the Union address, Mr. Trump set out a case for another four years in office.

The Republican president delivered Tuesday night’s nationally televised speech in the Democratic-controlled US House of Representatives, where he was impeached in December, but on the other side of the Capitol, the Republican-led Senate is all but certain to clear the president of corruption charges in a party-line vote.

The House speaker skipped the traditional introduction welcoming the president as a “distinct honor”, ripped up up a copy of the president’s speech at the end of his address, the first time Mr. Trump had come face to face with his stern political foe since she stormed out of a White House meeting four months ago, and he accused Democrats of planning to force American taxpayers to provide unlimited free healthcare to undocumented immigrants, Mrs. Pelosi was observed twice mouthing: “Not true.”

In an implicit rebuke to his predecessor infamous predecessor, our beloved 1st Muslim President, Grand Ayatollah Barack, “We must spread freedom around the world by reading our citizens email” Obama, Mr.Trump told his audience: “In just three short years, we have shattered the mentality of American decline and we have rejected the downsizing of America’s destiny.”

“We are moving forward at a pace that was unimaginable just a short time ago, and we are never going back!”

Mr. Trump repeatedly assailed the Democrats, including “beyond left-wing” candidates aka “communists”such as Bernie, “Spendie” Sanders, and his supporters at the “Squad”, led by avowed admirer of the KGB trained terrorist and murderer Che Guevara, Representative Comrade AOC, and her “Islamo-Fascist Girls”, hailing from Minneapolis, Ethiopia, Ilhan, “Some people did something in New York” Omar, and from Detroit, “The West Bank”, Rashida, “We ought to get rid of that m…r f….r Trump”, Tlaib, who walked out of the chamber.

“We will never let socialism destroy American healthcare!” said the president, whose critics point out that he has not put forward a healthcare plan of his own.

According to Iowa State Democratic officials, with the 62% of the caucus results already released, the former mayor of South Bend, Indiana,  Comrade Pete Buttigieg is leading with 26.9% of the state’s Democratic support, followed by communist Bernie, “Spendie” Sanders with 25.1%, Elizabeth, “Pocahontas” Warren followed in third, with an 18.3% share of support, while former Vice President Joe , “Sleeping in a wrong century” Biden earned 15.6%.

Buttigieg was exited by the outcome: “No matter what happens next, this much is undeniable, that fact represents an astonishing victory for this campaign, this candidacy and this vision that you all have been a part of,” the 38-year-old openly gay man told supporters.
