1…………>   An Act Of Defiance: Cuomo

The Governor of great State of New York has just signed an executive order allowing former inmates to vote in the next election, a move described by some conservatives as a desperate act to allow more African-Americans and Latinos vote for the Democratic Party. Is Trump fear creeping into Cuomo’s timbers?

2…………> Trash Worst Friend: Enzyme

With the landmass of livable earth and world’s ocean overflowing with human waste and trash, an infamous consequence of “our way of life”, gifted and concerned scientists in Britain and the United States have created a plastic-eating enzyme that could one day help in the fight against pollution and clean-up the environment.

The precious enzyme was discovered in a waste recycling center in Japan and is able to digest polyethylene terephthalate or PET, the notorious plastic that has flooded our celestial home with billions of plastic bottles and related trash, an event that has created an ugly dialectic contradiction to our never-ending “go, Johny go” irresponsible lifestyle.

3…………> Bad Wager: Thai Pimps

A story of stupidity, complete disregard to human rights and norms became evident when two female pimps and a policeman have been sentenced to long jail terms for offering teenage girls as “dessert” for visiting officials in Thailand.

Branded with a custom “owl” tattoo as a proud attestation of being part of the prostitution ring,  young women were invited to lavish dinners for visiting VIP guests and then sold into sex trade.

Judging from sentences handed out, the Criminal Court in Bangkok was not amused by this outrage, sending police senior sergeant major Yutthachai Thongchai to 320 years in prison on charges of human trafficking and prostitution offences, and co-conspirators Piyathat Papthiensuwan, 31,  to 176 years in jail, and 27-year-old Piyawan Sookmak to a 167-year prison term for recruiting the teenagers.

Don’t you like the numbers above? A lot of the talking heads of the “Deep State,” parallel US government and their “la gumbas” in the alligator-infested D.C. swamp who have broken numerous laws and so far have been able to get away with it, may have to be sent to the same court in Thailand for another judicial look.

4………….> Planned Bombing: Kansas City

Three men from the southwest Kansas area identified as Patrick Eugene Stein, 49, of Wright, Kansas, Curtis Allen, 50, of Liberal, Kansas, and Gavin Wright, 49, of Beaver County, Oklahoma, were convicted on one count of conspiracy to violate the housing rights of their intended victims, stemming from the defendants’ plot to blow up an apartment complex by detonating a bomb where Somali Muslim immigrants lived.

“The Department of Justice is resolute every day in fighting terrorist threats to the United States, both foreign and domestic,” said Attorney General Jeff Sessions. “The defendants, in this case, acted with clear premeditation in an attempt to kill people on the basis of their religion and national origin. That’s not just illegal—it’s immoral and unacceptable, and we’re not going to stand for it. Today’s verdict is a significant victory against domestic terrorism and hate crimes, and I want to thank everyone who helped bring the defendants to justice—the dedicated professionals with our National Security and Civil Rights Divisions, our United States Attorney’s office in Kansas, the FBI, and our state and local partners. Law enforcement saved lives in this case.”

5…………> WV Drug Rings Busted: ICE

In response to a growing opiate epidemic and violent crime in southern West Virginia, United States Attorney Stuart announced the formation of Project Huntington on March 15th alongside federal, state and local law enforcement partners. Today, in a takedown of federal and state targets, nearly 100 defendants have been targeted for arrest including the execution of Operation Saigon Sunset and related search warrants in Huntington, WV. It is believed that today’s actions will result in the dismantling of the Peterson Drug Trafficking Organization (DTO), a major multi-state heroin and fentanyl distribution network. In addition to the dismantling of the Peterson DTO, federal, state and local law enforcement are executing arrests for related violent elements including narcotics and firearms targets.

Today’s actions break down as follows:

At least 15 individuals involved in the Peterson DTO have been charged in a federal indictment in the Southern District of West Virginia with conspiracy to distribute heroin and fentanyl;
15 individuals involved in the Peterson DTO were indicted yesterday in Cabell County Circuit Court on state charges;
Additional members of the Peterson DTO will be arrested and charged in Detroit;
13 individuals involved in narcotics and/or firearms that have been charged in federal indictments in the Southern District of West Virginia; and
At least 48 individuals are targeted for arrest on various narcotics, violent crime, and firearms-related charges at the federal or state level as determined by the circumstances of each matter.

As an indication of the scale of the operation, over 200 federal, state and local law enforcement officers took part in today’s take-down effort. The West Virginia National Guard also provided a number of officers in a support function to the operation.

“Our great country has never seen drug deaths like we’re seeing today,” Attorney General Jeff Sessions said. “Under President Trump’s strong leadership, the Department of Justice has taken historic new actions to put drug traffickers in jail and keep dangerous drugs out of the wrong hands. I want to thank all of our partners at DEA, FBI, ATF, the Marshals Service, Homeland Security Investigations, as well as our fabulous partners at the state and local levels for their hard work. Today’s charges against at least 90 defendants will help make the people of West Virginia and Michigan safer from the threat of dangerous drugs—and they bring us one step closer to ending the opioid epidemic.”
