1…………> The Trash Fighter: Pacific Patch
World-class swimmer Ben Lecomte will swim 30 miles per day for 180 days through the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, fighting Sharks, freezing water, jellyfish, and exhaustion are just a few of the obstacles as he begins his attempt to swim nearly than 5,000 miles across the Pacific Ocean, shepherded by crew onboard the 67-foot yacht called Discoverer that will be collecting ocean samples during the 180-day journey.

They will study ocean plastics and radioactivity from the Fukushima disaster

The swim will take him from Choshi in Japan to San Francisco via the Great Pacific Garbage Patch — a huge area where plastic and other marine debris is accumulating in the North Pacific Ocean.

Mr Lecomte, who swam almost 6,000km across the Atlantic Ocean in 1998, said he hopes his swim will bring attention to the growing problem of ocean pollution.

“I’ve been swimming for a long time and the change just in the last 30 years is troubling, that you can see so much degradation,” he said.

“Now I am a father, so I’m thinking about my kids and how [the future] is going to be for them.”

2…………> Cancer Worst Enemy: Patient’s DNA
Florida’s Judy Perkins had ball-sized breast cancer tumors in her liver, numerous lumps spread throughout her body, was given three months to live, but two years later there is no sign of cancer in her body. What’s the miracle?

The team at the US National Cancer Institute says the custom-designed therapy is still experimental but could transform the treatment of all cancer, and Dr. Steven Rosenberg, chief of surgery at the National Cancer Institute, declared: “We’re talking about the most highly personalized treatment imaginable.”

A patient’s tumor is analyzed to identify the rare changes that might make cancer visible to the immune system, with 62 genetic abnormalities in this patient, only four were potential candidates to genetically attack the mutated cells spreading cancer.

Next researchers use patient’s immune system white blood cells and extract those capable of attacking cancer, then grow them in the laboratory, in case of Judy around 90 billion were injected back into her, alongside drugs to take the brakes off the immune system.

Dr. Rosenberg said: “The very mutations that caused cancer turn out to be its Achilles heel.”

3…………> An Early Van Gogh: A Reality Classic
Vincent Van Gogh painted ‘Fishing net menders in the dunes’ when he was 29 years old, observing folks in the countryside around The Hague by the North Sea, in his native Holland, before he moved to France.

It comes from his realist period when he focused on poverty, often taking peasants or young people as his subjects to paint.

“You find already all the characteristics of Vincent’s painting,” Artcurial’s Bruno Jaubert noted. “Notably the treatment of the countryside, leaving the principal place to the land, and the well-worked skies.”

The painting has been on display in The Hague for decades.

A buyer based in North America paid 8.27 million for the 1882 painting “Fishing Net Menders in the Dunes” (Raccommodeuses de filets dans les dunes), which will be shown in Brussels and New York, auction house Artcurial said late on Monday.

Estimated at between €3 and €5 million, despite his later works reaching more than €70 million, it nevertheless reached way above its reserve.

According to Artcurial, the sale was “a world record for a landscape of Van Gogh in his Dutch period, sold at auction.”

4…………> On War Path: EU Navies
The French and British navies are to follow the footsteps of the US Navy with their own wayfinding mission through the disputed South China Sea, specifically, into areas London and Paris argue are illegally claimed by Beijing.

A seaborne armada comprising of French and British ships and naval aircraft will make its way through the South China Sea next week, French Minister of the Armed Forces Florence Parley said. The force will go “into certain areas” where the world’s fastest-growing navy — the People’s Liberation Army-Navy — is expected to be present.

“At some point, a stern voice intrudes into the transponder and tells us to sail away from supposedly ‘territorial waters.’ But our commander then calmly replies he will sail forth, because these, under international law, are indeed international waters,” Parley said.

Gold down to 1295.6 and USD/CHF at 1.01 despite President Trump setting tariffs on Chinese products. Translation? As the dollar goes down, we have to wait and see if the new Fed Chair Jerome Powell will continue pressuring gold and the Eurasian block with it down below $1000/oz in an economic WW3. Watch cover short at 24,450.

We have to wait and see if new Fed chair Powell will attempt to destroy Eurasian block by sending gold prices below 1000, despite the fact both Russia and China have been buying their whole gold production in local gold backed currency instead of money printing machines. In other words, US has lost controls of the precious metals complex, and with Trump’s infrastructure and tax cut campaign the National debt will soon be at, or over 30 trillion dollars, since D.C. swamp alligators have no intention dropping their pet projects. Read “Ziban Must Die” for more details on the coming collision of Trump’s administration with “Deep State” operators funded by the billionaires’ supporters of the New World.
