  Following the votes in Congress, Mr Trump tweeted that his decision is “in no way a concession”, but was “taking care of the millions of people who were getting badly hurt by the shutdown”, saying he was “very proud to announce” the agreement which will fund the government until 15 February, and that the federal workers affected by the political imbroglio are “incredible patriots” who would receive full back-pay.

  This could divert military funding towards building a southern border wall, but such a proclamation would provoke constitutional uproar and legal challenges.

  “We really have no choice but to build a powerful wall or steel barrier, and if we don’t get a fair deal from Congress the government will either shut down on February 15 again, or I will use the powers afforded to me under the laws and the constitution of the United States to address this emergency”, he concluded.

  More than 2,000 protesters and 1,000 police officers were injured in the Yellow Vests movement protesting a diesel tax hike, but since evolved into a mass movement against Rabbinical Grand Ayatollah and President Macron’s government.

  Last week, following accusations of police violence, French Interior Minister Ayatollah Christophe Castaner promised that riot police equipped with weapons firing rubber bullets would be equipped with body cameras, calling it a “requirement for transparency”, deploying several armored cars and police vans at the Arc de Triomphe.

  Three men from southwest Kansas were sentenced to imprisonment on charges of conspiring to detonate a bomb at an apartment complex in Garden City where Muslim immigrants lived, with a federal jury convicting Patrick Eugene Stein, 49, of Wright, Kansas, Curtis Allen, 51, of Liberal, Kansas, and Gavin Wright, 53, of Beaver County, Oklahoma, on one count of conspiracy to use a weapon of mass destruction and one count of conspiracy to violate the housing rights of their intended victims.

  Curtis Allen was sentenced to 25 years, Gavin Wright was sentenced to 26 years, and Patrick Stein was sentenced to 30 years in prison.

  As the terror plot solidified, the defendants discussed obtaining four vehicles, filling them with explosives, and parking them at the four corners of the apartment complex to create an explosion that would be sure to level the building and kill its occupants.

  Two Ukrainian men identified as Artem Radchenko, 27, and Oleksandr Ieremenko, 26, both of Kiev, Ukraine,  have been arrested for their roles in a large-scale, international conspiracy to hack into the Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) computer systems and profit by trading on critical information they stole, after a 16-count indictment unsealed in the District of New Jersey charged them with securities fraud conspiracy, wire fraud conspiracy, computer fraud conspiracy, wire fraud, and computer fraud. 

  The indictment alleges that Radchenko and Ieremenko hacked into the SEC’s Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis and Retrieval (EDGAR) system and stole thousands of files, including annual and quarterly earnings reports containing confidential, non-public, financial information, which publicly traded companies are required to disclose to the SEC. The defendants and others then profited by selling access to the confidential information in these reports and trading on this stolen information prior to its distribution to the investing public.

  “The defendants allegedly orchestrated sophisticated computer intrusions to steal non-public information from the SEC, compromising the integrity of the market and depriving honest investors of a level playing field,” said Assistant Attorney General Benczkowski. 

  “The Department of Justice will aggressively pursue and prosecute those who attack our financial markets and seek to profit unfairly, no matter where such offenders reside.”
