4…………> Trump’s Equation: Iranian Missile Strikes = New Sanctions

President Trump said Iran appears to be “standing down”, and no Americans were harmed in ballistic missile strikes on two Iraqi bases housing US troops, all this in his White House address, declaring that “as long as I’m President of the United States, Iran will never be allowed to have a nuclear weapon”.
“No Americans were harmed in last night’s attack by the Iranian regime. We suffered no casualties,” Mr. Trump said during the address which seem to indicate a desire to de-escalate the crisis with Iran, and also pointed out the US will impose additional economic sanctions on Iran and that he will personally “ask NATO to become much more involved in the Middle East process”.

“The fact that we have this great military and equipment, however, does not mean we have to use it. We do not want to use it. American strength, both military and economic, is the best deterrent,” he said.

He added that Americans should be “extremely grateful and happy” with the outcome.

“We must all work together toward making a deal with Iran that makes the world a safer and more peaceful place,” he said.

5…………> A Major Historical Event Cluster: Is WW3 Directly Ahead?

Iran launched ballistic missile strikes against US military and coalition forces in Iraq, and Tehran has confirmed the attacks on US targets, calling them “proportionate measures in self-defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter” in response to a previous drone strike against Iranian “citizens and senior officials”, in a clear reference to the assassination of Quds Commander Qasem Soleimani on 3 January near Baghdad International Airport.
“We do not seek escalation or war, but will defend ourselves against any aggression”, Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif tweeted in the aftermath of the shelling.

What’s next? De-escalate the tensions, or safe face, and in the worst case attack US Navy ships or bases, which will provoke a deadly counter strike by President Trump, possibly leading to a wider war, including Iran’s Brick Block dearest friends, China and Russia.
