Attorney General Jeff Sessions has hit back at President Donald Trump’s latest attack on him by insisting that the justice department he heads will not bend to political pressure.  What did Sessions say?

“While I am attorney general, the actions of the Department of Justice will not be improperly influenced by political considerations,” Mr. Sessions said in a terse two-line statement.

“I demand the highest standards, and where they are not met, I take action.”

In an earlier interview with the Fox and Friends program, Mr. Trump said: “When everybody sees what going on in the justice department, I always put ‘justice’ now with quotes”.

“Jeff Sessions recused himself, which he shouldn’t have done. Or he should have told me [before I appointed him].

“Even my enemies say that Jeff Sessions should have told you that he was going to recuse himself, and then you wouldn’t have put him in. He took the job and then he said I’m going to recuse myself. I said: ‘What kind of a man is this?’

“You know the only reason I gave him the job? Because I felt loyalty, he was an original supporter. He was on the campaign. He knows there was no conspiracy.”

Senator Lindsay Graham said that pass the fall election, President Trump should fire Jeff Sessions. Stand by.

We have to wait and see if new Fed chair Powell will attempt to destroy Eurasian block by sending gold prices below 1000, despite the fact both Russia and China have been buying their whole gold production in local gold backed currency instead of money printing machines. Dixons Carphone disclosed a massive data breach that took place last year involving 10 million customers, up from its original estimate of 1.2 million, and that has been investigating the hack since it was discovered in June.

Personal information, names, addresses and email addresses might have been accessed last year, but no bank details were taken, and no evidence that fraud had resulted from the breach has been discovered.

The hackers also got access to records of 5.9 million payments cards, but the chip and pin system protected nearly all accounts, with Dixons saying it was “very sorry for any distress” caused and it would be apologizing to customers soon.

One Trump supporter showed off an “F*** the media” t-shirt, while others could be heard branding the press “a piece of s***” and shouting, “Stop lying.” One woman appeared to swear at deeply unpopular Jim Acosta, a CNN news anchor while shouting: “Hey Jim, you suck!” A handful of supporters showed off signs peddling popular rightwing conspiracy theories.

President Trump has been saying that he regrets picking Sessions as the nation’s top law enforcement officer for a quite long time:

President Trump called on Attorney General Jeff Sessions to shut down special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into the Trump campaign’s contacts with Russia and Trump’s obstruction of the probe.

“This is a terrible situation, and Attorney General Jeff Sessions should stop this Rigged Witch Hunt right now before it continues to stain our country any further. Bob Mueller is conflicted, and his 17 Angry Democrats that are doing his dirty work are a disgrace to the USA!” The White House did not immediately return a request for comment.

Departments of Justice and Labor Formalize New Partnership to Protect U.S. Workers From Discrimination and Combat Visa Abuse.

Today, the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division and the Department of Labor (DOL) expanded their collaboration to better protect U.S. workers from discrimination by employers that prefer to hire temporary visa workers over qualified U.S. workers. This new partnership, memorialized in a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), establishes protocols for the agencies to share information, refer matters between them, and train each other’s employees, with the goal of better protecting U.S. workers. This partnership will enhance the Civil Rights Division’s efforts to stop companies from discriminating against U.S. workers and assist the Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration in identifying noncompliance with its foreign labor certification process.

“Employers should hire workers based on their skills, experience, and authorization to work; not based on discriminatory preferences that violate the law,” said Acting Assistant Attorney General John Gore of the Civil Rights Division. “Our partnership with DOL, formalized today, significantly enhances the Civil Rights Division’s ability to identify employers that favor temporary visa holders over U.S. workers who can do the job.”

“Streamlining the process for information sharing between the Department of Labor and the Department of Justice will help protect U.S. workers from unlawful discrimination,” said Rosemary Lahasky, Deputy Assistant Secretary for DOL’s Employment and Training Administration. “This partnership will help ensure U.S. workers are prioritized to fill jobs.”

A US Federal judge had blocked the planned release of 3D-printed-gun blueprints hours before they were set to hit the Internet, pointing out that the publication of the files is now illegal under federal law, and that the accessibility of 3D printers could lead to ‘irreparable harm” to citizens.

The decision blocked a settlement President Donald Trump’s administration had reached with a Texas-based company, which initially said it planned to put files online on Wednesday (local time).

Gun-control proponents are concerned the weapons made from 3D printers are untraceable, undetectable “ghost” firearms that pose a threat to global security. Some gun rights groups say the technology is expensive, the guns are unreliable and the threat is being overblown.

A Canadian national convicted of felony sexual assault is among the 40 aliens taken into custody last week during a four-day enforcement operation that ended June 21, by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) targeting at-large criminal aliens, illegal re-entrants, immigration fugitives, and other immigration violators. 

This operation targeted public safety threats, such as convicted criminal aliens and gang members, and individuals who have violated the immigration laws of the United States – including those who re-entered the country after being deported and immigration fugitives ordered deported by federal immigration judges. 

Of those arrested in central, western and northern New York state, almost 30 percent had criminal convictions or pending criminal charges. 

“I commend the brave men and women of ICE who work tirelessly to keep our communities safe in the State of New York,” said Thomas Feeley, field office director for ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Buffalo, which covers the 48 county region. “ICE will continue to ensure that New York state will never be a safe haven for criminal aliens.” 

The arrestees (35 men and 5 women) included nationals from 13 countries: Brazil, Canada, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Jamaica, Malawi, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Poland, Somalia, and Latvia.

3…………> African Cyber Scam Cartel: Under Arrest 

The Justice Department announced Operation Keyboard Warrior, an effort coordinated by the United States and international law enforcement to disrupt online frauds perpetrated from Africa. Eight individuals have been arrested for their roles in a widespread, Africa-based cyber conspiracy that allegedly defrauded U.S. companies and citizens of approximately $15 million since at least 2012. 


Five individuals were arrested in the United States for their roles in the conspiracy including Javier Luis Ramos Alonso, 28, a Mexican citizen residing in Seaside, California; James Dean, 65, of Plainfield, Indiana; Dana Brady, 61, of Auburn, Washington; Rashid Abdulai, 24, a Ghanaian citizen residing in the Bronx, New York, who has been charged in a separate indictment; and Olufolajimi Abegunde, 31, a Nigerian citizen residing in Atlanta, Georgia. Maxwell Atugba Abayeta aka Maxwell Peter, 26, and Babatunde Martins, 62, of Ghana and Benard Emurhowhoariogho Okorhi, 39, a Nigerian citizen who resides in Ghana, have been arrested overseas and are pending extradition proceedings to face charges filed in the Western District of Tennessee.

The indictment also charges Sumaila Hardi Wumpini, 29; Dennis Miah, 34; Ayodeji Olumide Ojo, 35, and Victor Daniel Fortune Okorhi, 35, all of whom remain at large. Abegunde had his detention hearing today before U.S. District Court Judge Sheryl H. Lipman of the Western District of Tennessee, who ordered him detained pending trial, which has been set for Oct. 9.

“The defendants allegedly unleashed a barrage of international fraud schemes that targeted U.S. businesses and individuals, robbing them to the tune of approximately $15 million,” said Acting Assistant Attorney General Cronan. 

“The Department of Justice will continue to work with our international partners to aggressively disrupt and dismantle criminal enterprises that victimize our citizens and businesses.”

President Trump took aim at Harley-Davidson after the motorcycle maker said it would begin to shift the production of motorcycles headed for Europe overseas as it faces spiraling costs from European Union tariffs.
