1…………> Dixon Security Breach: Hackers

Dixons Carphone disclosed a massive data breach that took place last year involving 10 million customers, up from its original estimate of 1.2 million, and that has been investigating the hack since it was discovered in June.

Personal information, names, addresses and email addresses might have been accessed last year, but no bank details were taken, and no evidence that fraud had resulted from the breach has been discovered.

The hackers also got access to records of 5.9 million payments cards, but the chip and pin system protected nearly all accounts, with Dixons saying it was “very sorry for any distress” caused and it would be apologizing to customers soon.

2…………> In The Heat Of The Day: Hostility

In a classical resolution of dialectic confrontations, President Trump supporters have been caught on video hurling sustained insults at “Fake News” journalists following one of the US president’s “Make America Great Again” rallies.

Dedicated supporters wearing MAGA hats and holding pro-Trump and anti-Deep State signs shouted and swore at the assembled press, with many of the mainly white crowd holding up a middle finger. One Trump supporter showed off an “F*** the media” t-shirt, while others could be heard branding the press “a piece of s***” and shouting, “Stop lying.” One woman appeared to swear at deeply unpopular Jim Acosta, a CNN news anchor while shouting: “Hey Jim, you suck!” A handful of supporters showed off signs peddling popular rightwing conspiracy theories.

3…………> “Get Mueller, Jeff”: Trump

President Trump has been saying that he regrets picking Sessions as the nation’s top law enforcement officer for a quite long time:

“The Russian Witch Hunt Hoax continues, all because Jeff Sessions didn’t tell me he was going to recuse himself. I would have quickly picked someone else. So much time and money wasted, so many lives ruined,” Trump tweeted in June, as Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller, a registered Republican, recently charged 12 Russian intelligence officials in connection with the 2016 hack of the Democratic National Committee’s computer server — bringing the total number of individual indictments to 32.

President Trump called on Attorney General Jeff Sessions to shut down special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into the Trump campaign’s contacts with Russia and Trump’s obstruction of the probe.

“This is a terrible situation, and Attorney General Jeff Sessions should stop this Rigged Witch Hunt right now before it continues to stain our country any further. Bob Mueller is conflicted, and his 17 Angry Democrats that are doing his dirty work are a disgrace to the USA!” The White House did not immediately return a request for comment.

4…………> “HIre Legal Americans, Not Illegal Entrants”: A New Law

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Tuesday, July 31, 2018

Departments of Justice and Labor Formalize New Partnership to Protect U.S. Workers From Discrimination and Combat Visa Abuse.

Today, the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division and the Department of Labor (DOL) expanded their collaboration to better protect U.S. workers from discrimination by employers that prefer to hire temporary visa workers over qualified U.S. workers. This new partnership, memorialized in a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), establishes protocols for the agencies to share information, refer matters between them, and train each other’s employees, with the goal of better protecting U.S. workers. This partnership will enhance the Civil Rights Division’s efforts to stop companies from discriminating against U.S. workers and assist the Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration in identifying noncompliance with its foreign labor certification process.

“Employers should hire workers based on their skills, experience, and authorization to work; not based on discriminatory preferences that violate the law,” said Acting Assistant Attorney General John Gore of the Civil Rights Division. “Our partnership with DOL, formalized today, significantly enhances the Civil Rights Division’s ability to identify employers that favor temporary visa holders over U.S. workers who can do the job.”

“Streamlining the process for information sharing between the Department of Labor and the Department of Justice will help protect U.S. workers from unlawful discrimination,” said Rosemary Lahasky, Deputy Assistant Secretary for DOL’s Employment and Training Administration. “This partnership will help ensure U.S. workers are prioritized to fill jobs.”

5…………> “Goodbye Gun Control”: 3D Weapons

A US Federal judge had blocked the planned release of 3D-printed-gun blueprints hours before they were set to hit the Internet, pointing out that the publication of the files is now illegal under federal law, and that the accessibility of 3D printers could lead to ‘irreparable harm” to citizens.

The decision blocked a settlement President Donald Trump’s administration had reached with a Texas-based company, which initially said it planned to put files online on Wednesday (local time).

Gun-control proponents are concerned the weapons made from 3D printers are untraceable, undetectable “ghost” firearms that pose a threat to global security. Some gun rights groups say the technology is expensive, the guns are unreliable and the threat is being overblown.

1…………> Breakfast In Singapore: Trump vs Comrade Un

Donald J. Trump

The highly anticipated meeting between Kim Jong Un [aka Comrade Un] and myself will take place in Singapore on June 12th. We will both try to make it a very special moment for World Peace!

7:37 AM – May 10, 2018

76K people are talking about this

President’s announcement was preceded by North Korea’s released three American prisoners a day before, a move greeted by the US and the world with a sigh of relief and hope that the “nuke war” saber rattling on the Korean peninsula may finally be coming to an end.

“I think we have a very good chance of doing something very meaningful,” Trump said at the time. “My proudest achievement will be — this is part of it — when we denuclearize that entire peninsula.”

Seoul and Pyongyang have yet to formally end the Korean war that ended in 1953.

2…………> The Pin Blunder: $29,300 Bun

Liuzhu He, a manager of the steamed bun shop in Zhengzhou, Henan Province,

received a wrong amount of payment of 140,000 yuan ($29,300) for two steamed buns after an absent-minded customer entered his PIN rather than the amount due on e-payment platform Alipay.

Since the consumer did not return to correct the transaction and collect his money, Mr. He contacted the local media and the police to help identify the customer, since no one came back to collect the money.

A customer named Hongwei Han apparently contacted local media and the police, and then the whole riddle came apart at the seems:

“I didn’t receive any text notifications, I really didn’t realize. Yesterday I received a call from an Alipay customer service officer, and they said there was something wrong with my balance,” he admitted.

3…………> A Monster Wave: 78 Feet

“This is a very exciting event and to our knowledge, it is the largest wave ever recorded in the southern hemisphere,” MetOcean Solutions senior oceanographer Dr. Tom Durrant said about an enormous 78-foot ocean wave recorded by a solar-powered buoy moored near New Zealand’s Campbell Island.

“[This] storm is the perfect example of waves generated by the easterly passage of a deep low-pressure system with associated wind speeds exceeding 65 knots. Such storms are frequent and can occur at any time of the year, which differs from the high-latitude northern hemisphere storms that only occur in winter,” he said, adding that the waves may reach California coast in about a week.

4…………> Fury Of Gideon: Syria Strikes

Syria’s dictator Mr. Assad and his Iranian “friends” got a “kick in the pans” after the Israeli army published photographs and maps showing four targeted sites linked to Iranian intelligence in Syria’s southern Tel al-Qulayb, Tal Ghurba, Tel Miqdad and Tel Nabi Yusha areas,

“Targets also included sites linked to Iranian-backed militias near Syria’s southern border, including observation and intelligence-gathering posts,” an Israeli army source as said, describing the bombing as  “[This was] the largest [Israeli] operation [code named “House of Cards”] against Syria since 1974.”

What will the Shia brethren of our beloved 1st Muslim President, Grand Ayatollah Barack Obama do now, when the sanctions are back, the “crooked Iran deal” was shot down, there is nobody sending planes full with lovely, freshly printed US dollars, and Mr. Trump in the White House? Stand by.

5…………> Currency Trade Fraud: Major Banks has been saying for years that the greatest threat to our planet is not terrorism, global warming or the drug cartels, but the criminal consortium of Central Banks and their networks that have de-facto license to steal as evident by the indictments below:

A federal grand jury returned an indictment againsAkshay Aiyer, a former currency trader at a major U.S. bank, for conspiring to fix prices and rig bids and offers in Central and Eastern European, Middle Eastern, and African (CEEMEA) currencies, which were generally traded against the U.S. dollar and the euro.

The Department of Justice also charged six major banks in the ongoing investigation into antitrust and fraud crimes in the FX market. On May 20, 2015, Citicorp, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Barclays PLC, and The Royal Bank of Scotland PLC pleaded guilty at the parent level and agreed to pay, collectively, more than $2.5 billion in criminal fines for their participation in an antitrust conspiracy to manipulate the price of the euro-U.S dollar currency pair. Additionally, UBS AG pleaded guilty to manipulating the London Interbank Offered Rate (LIBOR) and other benchmark interest rates and agreed to pay a $203 million criminal penalty after breaching it’s December 2012 non-prosecution agreement resolving the LIBOR investigation. On January 25, 2018, BNP Paribas USA, Inc., the former employer of Jason Katz, pleaded guilty to violating the Sherman Act based on its participation in a CEEMEA-related conspiracy and agreed to pay a $90 million fine.

“As today’s indictment demonstrates, the Antitrust Division remains committed to holding individuals accountable for anticompetitive conduct that violates the integrity of global financial markets,” said Assistant Attorney General Makan Delrahim of the Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division.
