Some eighty years since the beginning of WW2, the world is learning the story of a Japanese diplomat named Chiune Sugihara,  a brave man who was sent to Lithuania in 1939, where he was confronted by Polish Jewry escaping the German and Soviet occupation.

Repeating the humanitarian miracle of Oskar Schindler, Sugihara defied his superiors’ orders to write and issue thousands of transit visas, allowing the Jewish refugees to flee, de-facto saving thousands if lives from the terror of Hitler and Stalin.
