 Distinguished practitioners of the legal profession described yesterday’s FBI raid and seizure of President Trump personal attorney Mr. Michael Cohen’s records in colorful terms, ranging from, “[it] should be the most concerning for the President”, to “the FBI search warrant was like dropping a bomb on Trump’s front porch”, to “You can’t get much worse than this, other than arresting someone’s wife or putting pressure on a family member.”

Yet true to form, President Donald Trump slammed the FBI raid as a “total witch hunt” and a “disgrace”, that is distracting him from other more “serious things” facing the country, instead of firing his Attorney General Jeff Sessions, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, and finally Special Council Robert Mueller.

Bibi1581 prediction is that unless Mr. Trump starts paying attention and regains control of his own Department of Justice by weeding out “Trump haters” and “Soros conspirators” and soon, GOP Establishment will lose control of both houses of Congress and he may get impeached.

Global Times editorial said that China would fight the US with the same spirit as it did during the Korean War more than 60 years ago.

“Beijing can make it a painful fight for Washington during the confrontation of every trade war and let the US suffer the same losses as China,” it said.

A team of researchers, led by Dr. Yadong Huang, professor of neurology and pathology at the University of California, have managed to develop and successfully test a compound that fights off the production of the apoE4 protein, that is responsible for damaging brain cells as a result of Alzheimer’s disease. The developed compound is expected to help reduce the symptoms of the disease.

He warned against excessive optimism, suggesting that testing of their compound on living human brain cells in order to determine the validity of previous research claims.

The Republican governors of Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico committed 1,600 Guard members to US Southern border, giving President Trump many of the troops he requested to fight what he has called a crisis of migrant crossings and crime.

The only border state that has not responded to Mr. Trumps’ call to arms is the “Communist Haven” of California, and its “Trump hating” Governor Jerry Brown, who has repeatedly fought with Mr. Trump over immigration policy and given a refuge to murders, rapists, and other assorted illegal aliens criminals, all in violation of the Federal Law.

An HC-130 Hercules aircrew from Coast Guard Air Station Barbers Point located a life raft with eight people aboard from the fishing vessel “Princess Hawaii” over 400 miles north of the Big Island, with the Hercules crew dropping a VHF radio to the people on the water near the ship mostly submerged with only the stern above the waterline.

Weather on scene is reported as 10-foot seas with 20 mph winds from the east and a sister ship the “Commander” is on route to pick up the survivors.

Donald Trump has ordered the expulsion of 60 Russians from the United States and closed the Russian consulate in Seattle over a nerve agent attack earlier this month in Britain, claiming that the expulsion will “make the United States safer” and giving the expelled Russians will have seven days to leave the US.

 

British Foreign Minister Boris Johnson tweeted that the actions amounted to “the largest collective expulsion of Russian intelligence officers ever”.

Japanese media reported that a special, heavily guarded North Korean train has arrived in Beijing, sparking a speculation that Supreme leader Kim Jong-un himself might have been on board, the same green-and-yellow-train used by his late father Kim Jong Il to travel to Beijing in 2011.

Judge Roger W. Titus ruled the judges in California and New York who blocked the phaseout tried to substitute their own judgments for that of the Homeland Security Department, crossing constitutional lines in order to strike at Mr Trump’s policies, and went even further, praising the administration for the way it handled the situation with a six-month decision delay.

Ruling that the DACA program is legal, is doing little to solve the ongoing court quagmire and does not overturn two other federal courts, but it does offer a needed boost as the Justice Department appeals those other two rulings.

“This decision took control of a pell-mell situation and provided Congress — the branch of government charged with determining immigration policy — an opportunity to remedy it. Given the reasonable belief that DACA was unlawful, the decision to wind down DACA in an orderly manner was rational,” the judge wrote.

Federal immigration agents arrested 23 people across New Mexico and west Texas on suspicion of being in the country illegally, as they served notices of employment audits to 131 businesses across the state and a swath of 18 counties in Texas over the past week when the arrests were made. Businesses are being given three days to provide hiring records that deal with employees’ immigration status. 


Agency regional spokeswoman Nina Pruneda says three of the individuals face criminal charges related to illegal re-entry to the United States or firearm possession or both.

The pair were found slumped unconscious on a bench at the Maltings shopping centre on Sunday with no visible injuries, and officers are investigating whether a crime had been committed.

Temporary Assistant Chief Constable Craig Holden said: “They are currently being treated for suspected exposure to an unknown substance…

“The focus is trying to establish what has caused these people to become critically ill.

“We are working with partners to prioritise this diagnosis and ensure that they receive the most appropriate and timely treatment.”
