1…………> A Fake Billionaire: CA

Following a two-week trial, a federal jury in Denver, Colorado, has convicted a California man named Kenneth Brewington, 55, of Corona, California, on multiple charges for his role in an investment scheme in which he falsely told investors that he was a billionaire who could access certain financing, including hundreds of millions in cash in an overseas bank account, in exchange for up-front fees.

He was convicted of one count of conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, one count of mail fraud, five counts of wire fraud, one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering, one count of laundering monetary instruments, and two counts of engaging in monetary transactions in property derived from unlawful activity.

“Kenneth Brewington and his co-conspirators deceived investors by falsely claiming to have hundreds of millions of dollars in cash in an overseas bank account as part of a criminal scheme to steal the investors’ hard-earned money,” said Acting Assistant Attorney General Cronan. “The Department of Justice is dedicated to working with our law enforcement partners to identify and prosecute people who are involved in fraudulent investment schemes, and to pursuing justice for the victims of those crimes.”

3…………> “Deaf Them Yankees”: The Cuba “Sonars”

In an unmistakable sign of deadly hostility by the secret services of China, a country whose president Mr.Xi is reportedly having a “very good chemistry” with President Trump, a US Government employee in the southern part of the country has reported suffering from “abnormal” sounds and pressure leading to a mild brain injury, the US embassy said — recalling similar experiences among 21 American diplomats in Cuba.

“A US Government employee in China recently reported subtle and vague, but abnormal, sensations of sound and pressure. The US Government is taking these reports seriously and has informed its official staff in China of this event,” a statement said.

The unnamed American citizen assigned to the consulate in Guangzhou had reported a variety of “physical symptoms” dating from late 2017 to April this year, the US embassy in Beijing said in an email.

The worker was sent to the United States for further evaluation, where “the clinical findings of this evaluation matched mild traumatic brain injury (MTBI),” the embassy said.

4…………> Spanish Treasure: Worth Billions

A Spanish galleon that sank more than 300 years ago laden with gold worth now almost 22 billion dollars, was found three years ago in 1800 feet of water of the Colombian coast near the town of San Jose, a watery grave where 600 men were lost in a battle with British ships in the War of Spanish Succession.

“We’ve been holding this under wraps out of respect for the Colombian government,” said WHOI’s vice president for marine facilities and operations, Rob Munier.

The exact location of the wreck of the San Jose, often called the “holy grail of shipwrecks”, was long considered one of history’s enduring maritime mysteries.

5…………> Van Gogh Jr: X-Ray Find

Art restorer Jiri Lauterkranc has been studying a painting called “La Crau with a View of Montmajour” for three years after his team found it by using a  combination of a specialist X-ray scanner and traditional methods to identify the painting.

Mr. Lauterkranc believes the painting is a genuine Vincent Van Gogh and is sending evidence to the Van Gogh Foundation for final verification.

1………….> Thanks For Their Service: Navy

MAYPORT, Fla. (May 18, 2018)

Master Chief Ian Thompson, prospective command master chief of the guided-missile destroyer USS Delbert Black (DDG 119), presents a framed Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy (MCPON) pennant to Ima J. Black, widow of the ship’s namesake, at the Naval Station Mayport Chief Petty Officer (CPO) Club. Although the purpose of Black’s visit was to transfer the combination cover of her late husband, Delbert Black, to USS Delbert Black, the Mayport Area CPO Mess threw her a surprise party to celebrate her 97th birthday. Delbert Black was the first MCPON, and Ima, a member of the Navy WAVES (Women Accepted for Voluntary Emergency Service), is the First Lady of the Navy Chief Mess and an honorary master chief. 2…………> Trump’s Ice Broom: Pennsylvania

DHS ICE officers arrested 49 foreign nationals, mostly criminal aliens, immigration fugitives, re-entrants, and other immigration violators, including
17 with criminal convictions, 14 with pending criminal charges,  6 previously removed and re-entered.

“This operation resulted in multiple arrests of criminal aliens, public safety threats, and individuals who have violated our nation’s immigration laws,” said ERO Philadelphia Acting Field Office Director Gregory Brawley.

“Some of these dangerous individuals had been released to the streets instead of being turned over to ICE on our detainers, which compromises the safety of the homeland that ICE officers strive to protect every day. ICE will continue conducting operations to execute its mission and bring to justice those subjects who jeopardize the sanctity of our immigration laws and the safety of our citizens.”

3…………> No Beautiful Friendship: Trump

North Korea canceled high-level talks with South Korea, labeling joint provocative military exercises with the US as a rehearsal for an invasion, with Pyongyang then accusing US national security adviser John Bolton of making “reckless statements” about North’s “Libya model” for the denuclearization of the peninsula.

President Trump has said there is a “very substantial chance” a historic summit with North Korea’s Kim Jong-un next month may not happen unless the North must meet conditions for the summit to go ahead though if it did not, it might happen “later”.

North Korea declared that it will start dismantling its nuclear test site in a ceremony to be attended by foreign journalists.

4………….> Ready For War: Sweden

Swedish Department of Defense has distributed leaflets to nearly 5 million of country’s citizens, advising what non-perishable items must be stockpiled to prepare for a Russian invasion, a terrorist attack and a major national disaster:

Bread with a long shelf-life (eg tortillas and crackers)
Precooked lentils, beans, tinned hummus
Sardines and ravioli
Quick-cook pasta, rice, instant mashed potatoes
Prepared blueberry, rosehip soup, energy bars
Woolen clothes
Sleeping bags
Candles and tea lights
A radio powered by batteries, solar cells or winding
A list of important telephone numbers
A mobile phone charger that works in the car
Salmon balls

tea lights

wet wipes

In 2016, Germany advised people to stockpile food and water for use in a national emergency, suggesting storing enough food to last for 10 days as well as five days’ worth of water.

Also in 2016, Lithuania told its citizens what to do in the event of a Russian invasion, distributing a booklet on spotting Russian tanks as well as surviving in the wild.

5…………> Market Report 05/22/2018, cover short 24900, CG(10042), 11/22/17

A cash dispersal to AAPL shareowners in the amount of $100 billion dollars sparked a rally, new position long at 24200, stop 24850 closed for a gain of 650 DIA points. New position short DIA 24850, cover shortstop 24850 for a gain of zero dollars.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Stock market old timers have said that “you buy the rumor, and sell the news”, and that is exactly what is happening right now, with the news that President Trump is about to start a metal tariff war, slapping 25% surcharge on steel and 10% on aluminum. DIA resistance is in the 27,000 area, with supports at 24135, 21354 and 18900 level, US dollar in a downtrend, resistance at 1.003319 CHF, support at .92 and 0.9: Gold in an uptrend, watch break resistance of 1377 to be taken soon. The massive Fed balance sheet contraction will result in a $600 billion dollars being dumped on the credit markets each quarter, a leftover of the horrendous $4.3 trillion money printing of Obama’s septic tank that will surely exert a severe pressure on stocks and financial assets.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

We warned long ago that an organized attempt to remove President Trump from office is underway, and if this activity is not curtailed soon, the market will open on gap below 20,000 with next stop 17300 and 11800 support levels.

Stocks were down 179 to 24834DJ futures +61, attempt to stage a covering short rally.

Gold down to 1291.5 and USD/CHF at 1.00 despite President Trump setting tariffs on Chinese products. Translation? As the dollar goes down, we have to wait and see if the new Fed Chair Jerome Powell will continue pressuring gold and the Eurasian block with it down below $1000/oz in an economic WW3Watch cover short stop at 24,850

We have to wait and see if new Fed chair Powell will attempt to destroy Eurasian block by sending gold prices below 1000, despite the fact both Russia and China have been buying their whole gold production in local gold backed currency instead of money printing machines. In other words, US has lost controls of the precious metals complex, and with Trump’s infrastructure and tax cut campaign the National debt will soon be at, or over 30 trillion dollars, since D.C. swamp alligators have no intention dropping their pet projects. Read “Ziban Must Die” for more details on the coming collision of Trump’s administration with “Deep State” operators funded by the billionaires’ supporters of the New World.

1…………> Down With Gov. Jerry Brown: Carlsbad

Carlsbad’s City Council plunged into the national “sanctuary state” issue by voting 4-1 to back the federal government’s lawsuit against California, joining three cities, National City, Chula Vista, and San Diego to support the federal law.

It was also agreed that the city should file a legal brief “when appropriate” in support of the federal action against the state’s Senate Bill 54, which prohibits local law enforcement officials from investigating arrestees’ immigration status or reporting that status to federal authorities.

“The weighing in on this is purely political, and it’s divisive,” said Councilwoman Cori Schumacher, who voted against the motion.

“Our laws are becoming more difficult to enforce. It takes many agencies working together to keep us safe,”  said Mayor Matt Hall, while Glenn Bernard, a urged the city to support the federal government, and compared sanctuary cities to the South in the Civil War.

“I cannot see the difference between a sanctuary state and a secessionist state,” Bernard said.

2…………> Get On It Or Else: Trump To DOJ

Under pressure from President Donald Trump, the Justice Department and FBI have agreed to investigate “any irregularities” in the FBI’s tactics involving the Trump campaign, suggesting that if it has planted an undercover informant in his 2016 campaign, a bubbling scandal “[If so, this is] bigger than Watergate!”

The President also said that he would formally demand the Justice Department probe the matter and determine whether “if any such demands or requests were made by people within the Obama Administration”, as Representative Devin Nunes, a key Trump ally, has sought information on the alleged FBI informant, suggesting there may have been more than one person feeding information to the FBI.

“Deep State” exponent Senator Dianne Feinstein disagreed:

“The Justice Department is not an arm of the White House, it is independent and serves the American people. Its job is to follow the facts and the law. Law enforcement investigations must be initiated and carried out free from political interference.”

3…………> Israel’s New Hound Dog: F35

The US-made F-35 stealth fighter has seen its first ever combat action, flying in an operation for the Israeli air force.

Israel’s air force chief showed an image of F-35 jets, code-named in Hebrew “Adir”(Mighty), flying over Beirut, Lebanon, and said the planes had “already attacked twice on two different fronts”, a confirmation to acquire the single-seat fighter, it has received nine of the 50 F-35s, and it has so far ordered up to 75.

The plane has been heavily criticized over its price of nearly $200 million dollars,
lack of maneuverability and cockpit visibility issues.

4…………> Counterfeit Ring: Busted

Laredo, Texas ICE agents seized nearly 79,000 counterfeit items that included apparel and consumer electronics from luxury and sporting trademark designers such as Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Adidas, Nike, Apple, Samsung, and Sony, worth more than $16 million.

“Trafficking counterfeit goods pose a triple threat,” said Tim Tubbs, deputy special agent in charge of HSI Laredo. “Counterfeit merchandise wreaks havoc on local economies, threatens the health and safety of the American public, and funds criminal organizations engaged in other illegal activities.”

According to HSI, the trademark-infringed merchandise seized was shipped in large boxes from China to an international cargo terminal located in Laredo, Texas. The boxes were manifested to fictitious Laredo recipients and addresses.

5…………> Hate Crime: Kansas

Adam W. Purinton, of Olathe, Kansas, pleaded guilty in federal court to hate crime and firearm charges for shooting Indian nationals Srinivas Kuchibhotla and Alok Madasani and Kansas resident Ian Grillot at Austins Bar & Grill in Olathe February 2017, admitting crimes for which he pleaded guilty.

“Hate crimes are acts of evil, and the Department of Justice has prioritized their zealous prosecution,” said Acting Associate Attorney General Jesse Panuccio. “In this case, the defendant embarked on a murderous rampage with clear premeditation to kill on the basis of race, color, religion, and national origin. It was a hate crime, and he is being brought to justice. While we cannot ameliorate the irreparable harm to the victims and their families, we hope that securing this guilty plea brings them some measure of closure. And this prosecution sends a message across the nation: hate crimes will not be tolerated.”
