A Canadian terrorist identified as 25-year-old Alek Minassian by Toronto police has been arrested and taken into custody after 10 people were killed and 15 injured following his van hit the curb and plowed a crowd of pedestrians in Toronto.
Minassian fled the scene, with witnesses said people “strewn all over the road” and that the driver was moving fast and appeared to be acting deliberately.
The vehicle hit pedestrians at high speed at a busy intersection in the north of the city as large crowds of office workers were on lunch breaks.

Turkey’s new soldiers in the sky, the upgraded “kamikaze” drones, code-named
ALPAGU Blok 2 and KARGU, were developed by Turkish defense contractor STM to support Turkish security forces’ tactical and field needs, eliminate targets more efficiently with their new features such as enhanced ammo capacity and improved shooting.
“Our upgraded kamikaze drones ALPAGU and KARGU will make big contributions to our operational force by performing surprise attacks against enemies thanks to their superior tactical abilities, specially designed improved shoot capacity, and artificial intelligence technologies,” he said.
These armed drones play an efficient role in asymmetric warfare and the fight against terror.

Officers DHS ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) arrested 60 individuals throughout New Jersey during a 5-day public safety operation ending April 20, with operation focused on individuals illegally present in the U.S. that had been convicted of serious criminal activity, to include sexual assault, child abuse, domestic violence, and Driving Under the Influence (DUI). Of those arrested, 80 percent were convicted criminals, more than 20 had been issued a final order of removal and failed to depart the United States, or had been previously removed from the United States and returned illegally. Several had prior felony convictions for serious or violent offenses, such as aggravated assault, child abuse, child sex crimes, and assault, or had past convictions for significant or multiple misdemeanors. U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the U.S. Marshals Service assisted ICE during this operation.
“The success of this operation is a direct result of the full commitment of the dedicated men and women of ICE,” said John Tsoukaris, field office director for ERO Newark. “We will continue to devote the full efforts of our agency to protecting citizens and enforcing federal immigration law despite challenges being pursued by politically motivated individuals.”
