2…………..> The Great Escape: Paraguayan Style

At least 75 inmates, including members of Brazil’s most powerful First Capital Command (PCC) criminal gang , escaped from a Paraguayan prison after digging a tunnel in an operation suspected to involve security members, hence the director of the prison, along with six other staff, have been fired after authorities discovered a secret underground passage in the city of Pedro Juan Caballero, near the Brazilian border, and found cells filled with as many as 200 bags of earth.

“It’s not possible that nobody saw anything in all this time,” Justice Minister Cecilia Pérez told the Telefuturo station.

“This isn’t the work of one day or one night.”

Interior Minister Euclides Acevedo said in a statement that the tunnel itself may have been a ruse to cover complicity by prison officials and that many of the inmates may have been allowed to walk out of the prison’s main gate.

The gang was founded in the 1990s inside a Sao Paulo prison and it has extended its influence throughout the country, becoming one of Brazil’s largest criminal organizations.

3……………> And The Envelope Goes To: Kosher Food

While Jewish-owned companies were proudly in attendance, many of the firms who were present at the main hall at the Meadow-lands Exposition Center in New Jersey,  bustling with more than 6,000 attendees taking a look at 360 food and drink exhibitors from around the world, were not owned or run by Jews, but had still chosen to go kosher, including businesses from Pakistan, South Korea, Sri Lanka and Italy.

The hundreds of products on show included everything from pizza bases made from cauliflower, to salsas, ice cream sandwiches, cider, beef empanadas (a Mexican pastry), Italian sorbets, gins, charcuterie, tequila, and even a range of biscuits infused with cannabis oil.

“Kosher food appeals to a more health-conscious consumer,” said Menachem Lubinsky, chief executive of the event organizer.

“It’s like a new generation of kosher. It’s different from those who have been there for many years, the basic kosher staples.”

4…………> The Eruption Of The Taal Volcano:Philippines

Taal volcano in the Philippines started to erupt on Sunday, gruesome rattling sounds and tremors being followed by a huge plume of ash  emitted into the sky, as towns around Taal, about 45 miles south of the capital Manila, received a thick coating of ash and sludge, and in the early hours of Monday morning the volcano began to spew lava.
Taal is the Philippines’ second most active volcano, one of the world’s smallest volcanoes, and has recorded at least 34 eruptions in the past 450 years, with lightning  seen striking around the volcano’s ash clouds as it erupted.

2…………> Paris Is Burning: What’s Next

“No cause justifies that authorities are attacked, that businesses are plundered, that passers-by or journalists are threatened or that the Arc de Triomphe is defiled,” the President of the Islamic Sheikdom of France, Grand Rabbinical Ayatollah Emanuel Macron warned.

He said those responsible did not want change but instead intended to “wreak chaos” as he responded to the day’s events from the G20 summit in Buenos Aires, saying the protests “had absolutely nothing to do with a peaceful demonstration of legitimate unhappiness or discontent.”

Protesters climbed-up the Arc de Triomphe in central Paris, as clashes with riot police continued during the third weekend of “yellow vest” rallies, with tear gas, stun grenades and water cannon were employed on the Champs-Elysées, while masked protesters hurled projectiles and set buildings on fire. At least 110 people were injured, including 17 members of the security forces, and 270 arrests were made during the protests over fuel tax have grown into general anger at higher living costs. President Emmanuel Macron says his fuel policies are needed to combat global warming.

3…………> A Life Of Duty, Honor & Patriotism: George H.W.Bush

The American Nation is mourning the passing of the former President Mr.George H.W. Bush, a man of “the greatest generation” who narrowly avoided beheading at the hands of his Japanese captors after his plane was shot down in the Pacific theatre in 1944. Now, some seventy years later, President Trump is sending Air Force 1 to bring his casket to D.C. for a State funeral.

4…………> Sun Spots Cycles: LNG Correlation?

Scientists have inferred that the number of sunspots on the sun cycle over time, with a peak number, called the Solar Maximum, occurring approximately every 11 years, resulting in colder winters in the Northern hemisphere.

“I was a real skeptic on the impact of solar cycles and sunspots,” Todd Crawford, the senior meteorological scientist at IBM’s The Weather Co., admitted recently. However, after studying cold winter patterns, he was “on board,” he said the outlet.

“They appear dark because they are cooler than other parts of the Sun’s surface they form at areas where magnetic fields are particularly strong. These magnetic fields are so strong that they keep some of the heat within the sun from reaching the surface,” NASA’s website adds.

The new theory gaining traction among commercial meteorologists and hedge fund investors suggests that sunspots on the sun’s surface could provide insight into natural gas prices.

 5…………> Bangaladeshy Smuggler: Mexico

“Protecting our country from illegal immigration and the national security threat it poses is a priority for the Department of Justice. The Criminal Division is dedicated to working with our law enforcement partners both here and abroad to disrupt the flow of illegal aliens into the United States, and bring those who facilitate their travel to justice,” that is how Assistant Attorney General Benczkowski described the criminal activities of a Bangladeshi national residing in Monterrey, Mexico.

Moktar Hossain, 30  was arrested yesterday on arrival at George Bush Intercontinental Airport to face a criminal indictment issued in the Laredo Division of the Southern District of Texas for his role in a scheme to smuggle aliens from Mexico into the United States.

1…………>Today’s White House Tweets: President Trump

Wow! Just starting to hear the Democrats, who are only thinking Obstruct and Delay, are starting to put out the word that the “time” and “scope” of FBI looking into Judge Kavanaugh and witnesses is not enough. Hello! For them, it will never be enough – stay tuned and watch!

So if African-American unemployment is now at the lowest number in history, median income the highest, and you then add all of the other things I have done, how do Democrats, who have done NOTHING for African-Americans but TALK, win the Black Vote? And it will only get better!

Like many, I don’t watch Saturday Night Live (even though I past hosted it) – no longer funny, no talent or charm. It is just a political ad for the Dems. Word is that Kanye West, who put on a MAGA hat after the show (despite being told “no”), was great. He’s leading the charge!

NBC News incorrectly reported (as usual) that I was limiting the FBI investigation of Judge Kavanaugh, and witnesses, only to certain people. Actually, I want them to interview whoever they deem appropriate, at their discretion. Please correct your reporting!

2…………> Tsunami Toll: Creeping Higher

832 people are now confirmed dead in Sulawesi disaster, with many believed trapped in collapsed buildings and outlying areas that have no communications, food, water, fuel, medicine, tents and baby supplies.

Dozens of people were reported to be trapped in the rubble of several hotels and a mall in the city of Palu, on Sulawesi island, which was hit by waves as high as eighteen feet following the magnitude-7.5 earthquake on Friday.

A woman was pulled alive from the debris of the city’s Roa Roa Hotel, where up to 60 people were believed trapped. Hundreds of people gathered at the wrecked eight-story Tatura Mall searching for loved ones.

“Grieve for the people of Central Sulawesi, we all grieve together,” President Joko Widodo tweeted late on Sunday as he inspected the damage.

3………….> Where Has All Fish Gone: China

Captain Lin Jianchang is a fisherman born and bred, sitting on his small trawler mending nets, the 54-year-old says times are tough.

“When I started to fish we could fill our boat completely in an hour, we couldn’t move, there were fish everywhere,” he says.

“Now there’s less fish, and it’s rare to get a big one.”

The world’s fisheries are in crisis, with the United Nations’ Food and Agriculture Organisation estimates 90% of them have collapsed and China is the dominant player in their demise, having the world’s biggest deep sea fishing fleet that strip mines the world’s oceans.

The fleet has to head deeper into the ocean and stay for longer for a decent catch.

4…………> Sex Abuse Victim: Next To Trump

White House adviser Kellyanne Conway has revealed that she was sexually assaulted as a younger woman.

“I’m a victim of sexual assault,” she told CNN without giving details. Ms. Conway, hinting previously that Congressmen molested her. The comment came as she was defending President Trump’s embattled Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, who is facing allegations of sexual assault.

“I feel very empathetic… towards victims of sexual assault,” she said.

“I would talk to some of the members of Congress out there,” she said.

“When I was younger and prettier, them rubbing up against girls, sticking their tongues down women’s throats, uninvited, who didn’t like it.”

“I’m a victim of sexual assault. I don’t expect Judge Kavanaugh, or Jake Tapper, or Jeff Flake, or anybody, to be held responsible for that. You have to be responsible for your conduct,” she added. “We do treat people differently who are either the victims or the perpetrators of this based on their politics now, based on their gender. That is a huge mistake.”

5…………> CNN Sucks: President Trump Supporters

During the rally of supporters in West Virginia, President Trump again referred to American media as the “enemy of the people”, and repeated an Indian racial slur against a Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) aka “Pocahontas” about a 17th century Native American who assisted early English settlers in the territory that would later become the state of Virginia.

The National Congress of American Indians (NCAI), the US indigenous people’s rights organization, has strongly resisted the use of legacy Indian names by Trump.

“We honor the contributions of Pocahontas, a hero to her people, the Pamunkey Indian Tribe in Virginia, who reached across uncertain boundaries and brought people together,” according to an NCAI statement. “Once again, we call upon the president to refrain from using her [Pocahontas] name in a way that denigrates her legacy.”

Trump made the trip to West Virginia to bolster the flagging senatorial campaign of Republican Patrick Morrisey, up against Democrat Joe Manchin in the fiercely-contended November US midterm elections.
