It’s the biggest day in football, with France and Croatia only one win away from lifting the trophy in the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow. 

Not on board the Croatia bandwagon? Fair enough. This French team is pretty magnificent, and they will be incredibly hard to stop. Here’s why they will win.

So we kinda know what to expect from both sides now, it’s going to come down to execution on the day. 
Here we are, the biggest day in football. Years of qualifying and a month-long festival in Russia has brought us to this – France against Croatia, with the opportunity to lift the famous trophy only one victory away.

It’s been an excellent tournament and one that deserves a fitting final to send us out on a high note. All the ingredients are there for a memorable World Cup final, with both the French and Croatian teams littered with talent, but with such a prize on offer, will the big players freeze? And who will be the one to write his name into football folklore?

2…………> Chicago Violence: Casualties

Police in Chicago has clashed with protesters after an officer fatally shot a black man who was suspected of carrying a gun as a crowd of about 150 people shouted “murderers”, threw objects and jumped on police cars during the confrontation in Chicago’s South Side area.

Officers armed with batons traded punches with the protesters, and three officers sustained minor injuries and there were four arrests.

President Trump has said he has “low expectations” for his meeting with Russia’s Vladimir Putin in Finland, but he said that “nothing bad” and “maybe some good” would come out of the encounter.

He also said he would raise the subject of 12 Russians indicted for alleged hacking during the 2016 US election – but “hadn’t thought” about asking for their extradition, a news that will please his “collusion” detractors, and almost certainly anger his supporters.

A paraglider with a flying banner that dove within 200 feet of the president read, “Trump Well Below Par #Resist,” despite no-fly zone implemented by Scottish officials for the duration of Mr. Trump stay, forcing security rushing indoors as the Greenpeace pilot comes over.

Although Greenpeace officials did inform the local police, the police air incident advisor and the Prestwick air traffic control about their plans, a manhunt has since been launched for the pilot.

France has reached the World Cup final for the first time since 2006 after a Samuel Umtiti header saw them edge past neighbors Belgium in Saint Petersburg.

After a goalless first half dominated by Belgium, a header from a French defender ultimately proved the difference in a World Cup increasingly being decided by set-pieces.

For long periods though, it was a battle fought on the ground – by two men in particular. Belgian captain Eden Hazard was the stand-out performer for the Red Devils, but even he was out-shone by Paris Saint-Germain teenager Kylian Mbappe.

The frantic start to the game suited the 19-year-old perfectly as the teenager provided a series of early reminders of the French threat, leaving Jan Vertonghen for dead early on before almost latching onto a Paul Pogba through ball that he had absolutely no right to reach.

Otherwise, though, it was Belgium who was dominating possession, forcing the French midfield back and edging ever closer to an opening goal. They fashioned a couple of half-openings courtesy of the majestic Hazard, who saw a low cross cleared and a snap-shot go wide.

The failing NY Times Fake News story today about breastfeeding must be called out. The U.S. strongly supports breastfeeding but we don’t believe women should be denied access to formula. Many women need this option because of malnutrition and poverty.

During the terror years of our first Muslim President, Grand Ayatollah Barack Obama, the DOJ went on a campaign of a nasty oppression of the independent patriots of the “Tea Party”, leading to armed confrontations in Nevada and other Western states.

Now President Donald Trump has righted the wrongs of the Obama’s henchmen by pardoning two Oregon cattle ranchers whose sentence for arson led armed militiamen to seize control of a wildlife refuge in 2016.

Dwight Hammond, 76, and his son Steven Hammond, 49, were convicted in 2012 after a prescribed burn on their land spread to nearby public lands in 2001 and served time in prison, but a judge later ruled that they must serve their full five-year sentence.

The ruling sparked anti-government protests that left one rancher dead.

“The Hammonds are devoted family men, respected contributors to their local community and have widespread support from their neighbors, local law enforcement and farmers and ranchers across the West,” the White House said in a statement on Tuesday announcing their full pardon.

“Justice is overdue for Dwight and Steven Hammond, both of whom are entirely deserving of these Grants of Executive Clemency.”

With all bunch of nasty confrontation popping out across the world, the US Air Force’s has decided to increase the weapons-bearing load of its B-52 heavy bombers to accommodate the so-called “Mother of All Bombs”.


The plane can currently only carry 5,000-pound munitions externally, but the new specifications call for new pylons underneath the aircraft’s wings “capable of carrying multiple weapons in the 5,000-lb to 20,000-lb weight class.
“This is not a requirement that came out of nowhere,” a US defense official told military.com. “There are compelling reasons why we have to go down that road,” the official noted, without spelling out what those reasons were. The request to upgrade the B-52 fleet’s bomb capacity is in line with the Pentagon’s top priority of preparing for conflict with near-peer adversaries:i.e. China, Russia & Co.

We have to wait and see if new Fed chair Powell will attempt to destroy Eurasian block by sending gold prices below 1000, despite the fact both Russia and China have been buying their whole gold production in local gold backed currency instead of money printing machines. In other words, US has lost controls of the precious metals complex, and with Trump’s infrastructure and tax cut campaign the National debt will soon be at, or over 30 trillion dollars, since D.C. swamp alligators have no intention dropping their pet projects.
