Justice Department Sued State of New Jersey, New Jersey Governor, New Jersey Attorney General, State of California, California Governor, California Attorney General, King County, Washington, and King County Executive for Prohibiting the Operation of Private Detention Facilities in the State, and outlawing State Officials From Sharing Information With U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, related to the immigration status and release dates of individuals in their custody.
The directive also requires New Jersey law enforcement, and all entities mentioned above, to “promptly notify a detained individual, in writing and in a language the individual can understand” if ICE files an immigration detainer request for the individual. According to the complaint filed today, on multiple occasions last year, New Jersey, State of California, and other Trump hating officials failed to provide information regarding the release dates of aliens who had been charged with or convicted of crimes. New Jersey’s decision to obstruct federal immigration enforcement by refusing to provide such information is unlawful under the Supremacy Clause of the U.S.Justice Department Sues King County, Washington, and King County Executive for Prohibiting U.S. Immigrations and Custom Enforcement Contractors From Using King County International Airport.

Sudanese officials are about to hand over former autocratic president Omar al-Bashir to the International Criminal Court (ICC) for war crimes, including mass killings in Darfur, considered crimes against humanity and genocide related to the Darfur conflict.
Not surprisingly, Al-Bashir said he will refuse to deal with the ICC as it is a “political court”,true to his position as a poster boy for impunity in Africa and out of reach of international justice, was overthrown in April and later jailed on charges of corruption and killing protesters.

Mohammed Hassan al-Taishi, a member of the Sovereign Council and a government negotiator, said that they have agreed with rebel groups in Darfur to hand over those wanted by the International Criminal Court to face justice in The Hague.

4…………> Massive Drug Bust In The Pacific: US Coast Guard

 

The Coast Guard said drug busts made off Mexico, Central America and South America eight operations by the crews of four cutters between mid-November and mid-January seized a haul of about 18,000 pounds of cocaine in a campaign launched by the US against drug cartels operating in the eastern Pacific Ocean.

The cocaine, estimated to be worth about $US338 million, was offloaded from the cutter Munro at Naval Base San Diego, with the Coast Guard saying the busts were made in “known drug-transit zones” off Mexico, Central America and South America.

In September, the US Coast Guard offloaded more than 10,800 pounds of cocaine in Miami that was seized from suspected drug smugglers in the eastern Pacific Ocean.

President Trump may have found his greatest, very early re-election supporter in the “little” Michael Bloomberg’s currently released 2015 statements, where the Democratic presidential hopeful said police should focus on minority neighborhoods “because that’s where all the crime is”, male minorities perpetrate “the real crime”, and more:

 “It’s controversial, but first thing is, all of your – 95% percent of your murders, murderers and murder victims, fit one M.O. [method of operation]. You can just take the description, Xerox it and pass out to all the cops. They are male minorities, 15 to 25. That’s true in New York. It’s true in virtually every city. And that’s where the real crime is. You’ve got to get the guns out of the hands of the people that are getting killed. Put those cops where the crime is, which is in the minority neighborhoods. So this is – one of the unintended consequences is, people say, ‘Oh my God, you are arresting kids for marijuana that are all minorities.’ Yes, that’s true. Why? Because we put all the cops in the minority neighborhoods. Yes, that’s true. Why do we do it? Because that’s where all the crime is. And the way you get the guns out of the kids’ hands is to throw them against the wall and frisk them.”

The billionaire last year apologized for backing stop-and frisk policing as he launched his White House campaign, as Mr. Trump did not miss the opportunity to slam his opponent: “WOW, BLOOMBERG IS A TOTAL RACIST!”
